I don't really give a shit about all the exclusionists' stupid ass opinions.

What I care about more is that my post makes at least one asexual/aromantic person out there feel better about themselves, feel valid, feel visible, feel accepted. So long as I can make at least one person happy, it's all good...

Don't get me wrong: I don't intend to stop fighting against their bullshit, but ace/aro people feeling validated and accepted is equally, if not more, important. And no, I'm not trying to sound like some "ace saviour" or some shit 😒 I'm just tired of seeing so much hostility towards aces/aros in the LGBTQ+ community.

P.S. All aces are valid and are LGBTQ+, and that still includes cishet aces/aros (cis + heterosexual + aromantic OR cis + heteromantic + asexual) and cis aroaces 💖✌

I think it’s great to be proud and out as an aro and or ace person. I think it’s great if you guys want to create a community, but honestly the fact that people use the same term to describe radically different experiences shows me that there is no consistent community wide oppression towards the aroace community. Like there are so many universal experiences among mlm and wlw.
