STOP: Some badass assasin/warrior set out on a journey and nothing can get in their way. They're fighting ninjas and tigers and monsters deep in the woods and charging ever-strong to their goal.
Double Knot: An epic, powerful, sadistic dictator/monarch/king, relishing in their feast of fruits and delectable dishes, watching enemies and nemesi crumble at their feet, and charging confidently into battle.
Levanter: Climbing a refreshing, beautiful mountain in the middle of the night when the sky has more stars in it than actual sky. When you reach the top, the sun has started to rise, and you watch it paint everything pink and gold, satisfied with your success.
Booster: I'm in some intense race or competition with an arch-nemesis. Whether its that I'm running the fastest, swimming the farthest, or fencing with the greatest skill, I'm winning, I know it, and I look damn good doing it.
Astronaut: A party with bright, warm lights and all our friends, laughing and playing and goofing off, we're drunk on joy. Maybe after or before this, life is stressful, dark, and hard, but now, we're nothing but young; free-spirited and happier than ever, no worries except overdosing on excitement in our brains.
Sunshine: You just want to take someone you love and hold them close. A best friend, a partner, a lover, a apouse, a sibling, a parent, a child, a damn dog. The time life has brought and has yet to bring will surely be hard; but if we sit here in eachothers' warmth, cuddle and hug and recharge and simply exist tigether, then maybe it won't be so bad. You Can Stay: A friend isn't feeling well- YOU aren't feeling well, maybe. But someone's always there. Anyway yeah this has been deep thoughts by Jesus lol. Levanter is the album I play every night before I sleep, and it's good to fall asleep to, because it starts with all the badass songs that make me feel confident and epic and let me get out all my writing inspiration from the day; STOP, Double Knot, Booster. Then it gets into the joy, the hope, the happiness- Think Levanter and Astronaut. I go into those songs feeling epic and badass and like nothing can take me down, then Levanter tells me to just dream and not think about the bad things, let go of my worries, and Astronaut tells me I can just live in the moment, happy and young until anything else comes along. Then, I'm both empowered and nonchalant; empowered and, boundlessly, happy. Then comes the dreaminess; the soft sound and comfort and coziness. Sunshine tells me to hold all those I love dear and close and not forget, not take them for granted, and I do, hugging the unicorn I've hugged in my sleep since I was 5, then You Can Stay lets me off into sleep with her final words: You are loved. You are important. To someone, you are everything. You are needed. You don't have to leave. You are loved. And I couldn't ask for a better pass into sleep, really.
