Learned about the naked foal syndrome, a sadly fatal, autosomal recessive genetic disorder exclusive to Akhal-Teke horses.

It reminded me of Lex, since Akhal Teke's are some of the most expensive horse breeds (the most expensive being the thoroughbred).

So here they are: Superman, a black Claydale, Lex, an Akhal-Teke, and their son, Connor.

Lex's owner, Lionel Luthor, saw how weak Lex (Alexander) was, at least in his eyes. Lena Luthor (Lionel's daughter), on the other hand, trained Lex to be an accomplished show-jumper.

Then Lionel saw a giant black Claydale named Superman and bought him. Superman is a giant of a horse and is very strong. Superman and Lex are rather close, as Superman is the only horse Lex feels comfortable around aside from little Connor.
