the pants he wears are called Chong Kben and it's a wrap around garment, so its not tubular pants but a single sheet of fabric draped and wrapped around the legs.

If it’s not too much: What are the fashions like in this world? How different are they in between different countries? And are there any specific country/era you take inspiration from?
For art reasons maybe 👀 haha
Sorry to bombard you with a lot of questions
I like these questions! So don't worry. I typically draw on the standard euro-western fantasy style you'd see in DnD, GOT, Fire Emblem, Dark Souls and the Witcher...etc.
Nibelheim as the name suggest, is really misty, dreary and overall a cool country. So most people are warmly dressed in multiple layers throughout the years. Since they're military focused nation, these losers wear armour where ever they go, like to formal events, picking up the kids etc.
Brigid on the others hand is hot and windy with a dash of southeast asian influences (i'm Cambodian/Khmer, but I take influence from that general area because I know there's a fucking bloody culture war on which country own's what traditional style, i'm not here for that). Lots of silks, folds, belts and sashes. A lot of the stuff during the french colonial era is really nice too. But I particularly enjoy how unisex (the silk puffy pants!) some of the formal wear is, it's very fitting for Brigid as they are more egalitarian than Nibelheim.
felt like I should say why I draw the Ninja's gis like I do
so for Cole, Zane, Nya and Lloyd I have it draw like this
for each a different(?) reason
Cole, a reminder of when he was turned into a ghost, while he denied it he still died, or at least felt as if he died.
Zane a reminded of just how much he's died or more specifically his first death to the overlord.
Nya a reminder of her death in season 7, girl was in the departed realm for a hot second. but also for her a way to say how she beat death and is still around.
And Lloyd, a reminder of his death in season 10, since for him while he knows he died, he's wrote it down, it helps him be certaint he didn't image the whole ordeal.
Kai and Jay get it normal because Jay just hasn't died and Kai refuses to believe he's died.
uh but if this is offensive just tell me and I'll stop

after talking to an amazing friend it struck me how many people DO NOT know that CAJUN is not only a FOOD TYPE, but a CULTURE, a SELF CONTAINED COMMUNITY.
so yeah. there’s your tidbit for the day. AND I promise you, the if you are eating ‘Cajun’ food && it didn’t come from south Louisiana, you aren’t eating Cajun food.
peace out from your local Cherokee / Cajun Lady.
