You took a shaky sip of water. "I need everyone to know I made it out alive after that mission in Gotham" Bruce sighed before anyone had even spoken. "It isn't that bad." You slowly turned toward him. "Oh my God." "…" "He's gaslighting me." Hal immediately put his fork down. "Oh, this is gonna be good." "You live there," you said carefully, like explaining colors to someone born blind. "Your opinion has been compromised." "My opinion—" "You've developed an immunity." "I have not." "You don't know what fresh air smells like anymore." Bruce finally looked up. "It smells normal." "Normal?" You laughed the way soldiers do when remembering the trenches. "Bruce." "…" "It smelled like somebody pressure-washed a sewer using cigarette smoke." Clark coughed into his coffee and Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose "There are over ten million people in Gotham.” “And every single one of them is apparently chain-smoking directly into the atmosphere," you shot back "I also saw a billboard," you said Bruce immediately looked suspicious. "…Okay." "It said Visit Historic Gotham." "…" "I thought that was cute." Bruce’s suspicion deepened. "Then I realized every building was historic because nobody survives long enough to build new ones." Bruce's eye twitched so hard, his composure finally falling.

A new flower to take care of (Poison Ivy x gn!reader)
Warnings: no proof reading, obsessive!Poison Ivy, reader is lightly tied up (nothing sexual), mentions of panic and fear, language
Being an environmental activist was one thing. Being an environmental activist in a city like Gotham was another one.
Gotham was an absolute mess. The planet wasn't doing too good overall, but with all the poisons, toxins, and all kind of pollutions that villains put in the water, ground and atmosphere of the city, Gotham was an absolute nightmare. Without talking about the Batplane and Batmobile...
You grew up in Gotham and you couldn't stand to see how nature was hurt by your own city and the people living there. More than once, you even thought that Poison Ivy was right, even if her methods were a little bit too violent for you.
You started to participate to protests for Earth, you started to publicly talk about nature as well. You slowly but surely became a leader in the environmental activist movement of Gotham. You were talking to journalists on TV, you were writing articles, you started to get known.
Things went out of hands the day the mayor decided to cut down trees to build more buildings in one of the rare places of Gotham that wasn't completely polluted. It meant animals and plants were going to die. You went there to protest with your group.
And Poison Ivy showed up, as well as Batman.
It was quickly chaos. Everyone panicked. The GCPD finally used tear gas canister and your people tried to run away. In the way out, you received a massive blow on the head and everything went dark.
When you finally woke up, you were laying down on something very soft and comfy. When you opened your eyes, you were inside a building covered in plants. You slowly sat up and noticed you were actually on a very big flower.
"Ah, my new little flower is finally waking up" a femine voice excitedly hummed "It was about time, I was getting very impatient"
You turned your head and your eyes fell on Poison Ivy. You started to worry a little bit, and you looked nervously around you. No matter how stunning she was, you wondered what she was going to do to you.
"What is going on?" you whispered, maybe you hurt your head so badly that you were now hallucinating.
You hoped at least.
"I noticed you, you know. How could I not when you are speaking so well about the nature? I saw how you tried to fight for it too. I wanted to meet you for a long time now, and I saw it as an opportunity to bring you home" she smiled
"Oh... Well... Thank you for having saved me from the chaos over there. And I'm glad you appreciate my activist work... But I'm feeling better now, maybe I could come back home?" you replied
You were quite afraid of what could happen to you. You heard so many things about Poison Ivy. Of course you both loved plants and nature but... She was dangerous, violent, crazy. She hated humans and no matter what, you were human.
"Not so soon, little flower. Not so soon" she tutted
You tried to get up but the plant wrapped around your thighs, forcing you to stay sat. You tried your best to not panic.
"What do you want from me?" you asked
"Ah don't be afraid, sweet thing. I just want to chat with you... And maybe to look after you. I've never got any flower like you before" she replied, walking on a plant she brought closer to you.
She cupped your chin and inspected you with great interest and want.
"I..." you didn't know what to say
"Shh, you have two options, flower. Or you let me take care of you on your own accord, or I use my pollens on you. What do you decide?" she said as her lips brushed against yours
You both jumped as Batman made his presence known.
"Let them go, Ivy" he groaned at her
As they started to fight, the plant loosened its grips around you - Ivy was distracted by Batman - so you quickly jumped on the ground. You needed to find a way out of the room.
Luckily, Orphan jumped next to you and she showed you the way out. She made sure you were safe and sound before joining Batman back inside.
You didn't think much, you just ran home, locked the door behind you and took a long shower.
You went to bed when it hit you.
"Wait, maybe it was just her way to flirt with me? Fuck me, I never read the signs."

Kyle Rayner
Kyle is very thoughtful when it comes to planning dates, he wants to make sure it’s tailored exactly the way you’d like it to be.
Whatever your hobby, favourite past time or current hyper fixation is, that will be what the date is centred around. If you like reading you’re going to the book store, if you adore painting he’s taking you to an art gallery, if you enjoy music he’s taking you to a concert. Kyle makes sure that it’s everything you want and more.

Clark Kent
Clark is a sweet farmers boy who was raised with proper manners and etiquette, so he doesn’t really understand why people act like having a high school sweetheart is a once in a lifetime experience. All his dates idea’s are the same ones he did with his high school sweetheart.
Something about the innocence and simplicity of puppy love really speaks to his soul.
The dates aren’t extravagant but domestic and designed to melt your heart: Picnics with food made by Ma Kent and a worn blanket, cosy movie nights with popcorn made from scratch and your favourite childhood movie, going for walks in moonlit parks.
Clark Kent intends to make sure that you feel like the only woman alive.
Bruce Wayne
Bruce needs all of Gotham to know that you’re on a date with him- you’ve only got eyes for him and he’s only got eyes for you.
You’re hitting all the places in the city: the best restaurants, most expensive shops, even the iceberg lounge.
It’s a whirlwind night meant to make everyone jealous of him and his darling, this way no one has any right to doubt his love for you and ask for him to give it to them instead.
Naturally he’ll forget that not everyone’s used to doing the town until 5am and running around the whole time, so the night ends with him picking you up bridal style and carrying your heels like a proper gentleman (with the paparazzi snapping a few photos at the same time).
Jason Blood
Jason is a sophisticated man who intends to share his life of luxury with you. He wants to make sure you’re completely pampered in an attempt to make you forget that he turns into a Demon that rhymes.
Jason Blood is the time of man to take you to his private box to watch the Russian Ballet, buy you whatever you want at an exclusive auction, rent out a museum so you two are the only people walking through the exhibits.
At the end of the night he’ll pull a jewellery box with the most dazzling necklace you've ever seen and the promise of more if you’ll say you’ll still love him despite his other side.
