Tim ate a number of non-edible things when he was a toddler, and his parents weren't looking. He jas learned that the green sticky notes taste the worst and those hot gluegun sticks are rubbery and nice to chew on.

Ok so I just had a thought about the Batfam
I was ah, coming up with AUs and whatnot when this idea crept into my head, and i don't care how canon or non-canon it is.
You could describe the Bats as a bunch of broken pieces that are only whole when they're together.
You can try to shove them or ease them into different puzzles or leave them alone, but they just don't fit, or they will kind of fit, but they will eventually ease out and drift back to the others.
They need each other to feel whole, to be whole.
Because for so long, each other was all they had, what drove them, what made them live for.
They are a bunch of broken pieces that are only whole together.
Take them apart and each piece begins to lose it's color.
