{ Diluc }

" Sorry Angel, i've never really done this..mask? Before.. "

Diluc is quite the busy man with having to run a famously popular wine business as well as a bar thus, he has no time for self care or relaxation. Hence, you can imagine he was quite confused on what you were asking him at first but nonetheless agreed, after all, how could he say no to his lover's request such as that?

For the majority you needed to teach him through the fine art of 'self care', as well as help him with some parts. Though being the quick man he is, he learned how the whole process worked quickly.

During face masks, you would apply his and he'd try to apply yours, keyword: try. Fun Fact, he's never actually done a face mask before, so this is his first time! Thus, it wasn't perfect like his as there were some rough edges and uneven parts but overall, it wasn't the worse.

As the both of you waited for the masks to dry and harden, Diluc offered to read a book which you agreed to. So here you were, cuddling next towards your boyfriend as he read to you, soothingly.

Afterwords when the masks were washed and skin was dry. The two of you would do some oils and moisturizer to soothe the skin.

Overall, Diluc loved it, although a bit confused at times, it did relax him more than he thought, and he got to spend time with you! Maybe he should do these more often...

{ Itto }

" Ah..so..how does this work exactly? "

When you brought up the question, he was a bit puzzled on what you meant but went with it anyways. When seeing the supplies and items on your vanity, he thought it would be easy—like a slicing cake with a razor.

This man has no clue what he's doing.

Sure he tried doing something like this a few years ago, but that didn't go well either. For the majority you had to guide him through the steps and show him how the items are applied which he was grateful for.

You were quite envious learning he didn't use moisturizer or any sort of skin care. This man literally has the finest and smoothest skin you knew—hell, could even beat k-pop idols. Though the thoughts and doubts were washed away when you received many reassuring kisses.

Unlike Diluc, you decided to put on a movie while waiting until the masks were ready. Itto suggested some and you suggested some—overall 'My Little Pony' was picked.

In summary, although it wasn't quite itto's style, it was a 10/10 for the both of you. You enjoyed each others company even if things didn't go quite 100% but that was the fun of it!

{ Childe }

" Oh! I'd suggest applying moisturizer before oils to seal it. "

Tartaglia, the sly fox of a Harbinger Organization. For the majority of the days, he's seen with his nose in documents or busy with missions—coming at home at midnight, sometimes even later.

So one can imagine how you were surprised that you weren't surprised when learning he had nightly routine.

When asking the gingered hair male, he seemed quite happy you even brought it up. Turns out, sooner or later he was going to ask you the same thing. The man may not seem like it, but self care was a perfect escape from work and a perfect opportunity to spend quality time with his lover—which is what the two of you were doing currently.

During the both of yours' routine, you decided to take some pictures in memory of this moment—the first self care night with each other. Some pictures quite cute and affectionate, others somewhat silly but cute.

After washing the masks off, during the final steps Tartaglia gave you some tips and advice on how to apply skin care which greatly helped. (Gate keeping them ✧)

Overall, Tartagles enjoyed the night and often keeps the photos in his camera roll, sometimes looking over those moments when he's busy at work. Definitely something he would look forward to again.

{ Kaeya }

" Hm? Oh! Yeah, I have my routines. How else would I keep up the look~? "

This man is one of the best people to ask advice from. Albeit he doesn't know much about self care, he knows quite a bit of self care. (🥰 try to comprehend that.) He doesn't get much time some days as his work ends late at night which ultimately leads him straight to his bed. Other nights he has some free time which he uses to clean himself up after a long day.

He was quite heart warmed when you suggested a self-care night as the week had been stressful with a huge workload upon him. But he was also a bit worried..Did he not look good? Was there something wrong with his face? You, being the best significant other, quickly washed the negative thoughts away by reassuring it had nothing to do with him—that his looks were perfect and finally concluded this would be the most relaxing night he'd have!

And it was!

The two of you took things slow and calmly—incense, dimmed lights and activities. Honestly, Kaeya wished it would last forever, his stress decreasing with each passing second of your touch.

As the two of you applied face masks, you decided to wait in the living room afterwards. Both of you cuddled up with each other on the couch before scrolling aimlessly through media, laughing and making jokes every now and then.

Finally after the masks dried and were washed off, the two of you applied the final touches, every once and while doing each other's skin care.

In the end, Kaeya and you had a very much needed relaxing night together—one which he'd forever be grateful for. Unfortunately it would be cut short in the morning as his work called along with heavy loads of documents that needed to be read and organized.

{ Zhongli }

" My dear, do you think perhaps you can do mine as well? "

Zhongli, the famous consultant of the WangSheng Funeral Parlor. With his ever going days, he surprisingly hasn't experienced or tried much self care. But you guess it's not needed considered perfect skin is one of the many perks of being a Archon. Though Archons still need self-care and too look after themselves even if its not 100% a need.

When you asked him if he could join you with your activities, he happily obliged, quite intrigued with the idea. Unfortunately, even being an Archon, he didn't quite know everything as he was struck on how to apply the face mask.

He watched you apply it but it just wouldn't quite work the way he wanted it. So here you were, sitting on his lap as you applied the face mask on him. Honestly, even with the thick layer clay, one could barely see a red hue on your face throughout the process.

When the both of you were done, the ex-archon suggested to make tea which you agreed to.

While drinking your tea away, you've got to listen to more stories of Zhonglis archon life, some new tea from the WangSheng parlor and update on his 'adopted son', Xiao.

After some hefty minutes of intriguing stories and news, both of you washed your mask off before it was oil and lotion time. He was a bit weirded out by the sensation of the oils but slowly got used to it.

By the end of the night he was quite content—a relaxing end to the day and his lover in his arms. He wouldn't mind doing this again in the near future, especially after a long day.

DILUC, who’s been glaring daggers at not only you but to the person sitting next to you as well, watches both of you chatting innocently. He doesn’t notice how hard nor long he’s been observing his movements. Neither does he notice how hard he’d been gripping the glass he’s supposed to be cleaning. If anybody was close enough, they could hear the faint cracking of the glass under DILUC’s vice grip. He listens attentively to every single syllable you utter as you carefully choose your words, especially while attempting to shoo this unknown man away gently. In the current situation with DILUC’s gaze flickering to you then the guy over again, you could only manage to whisper a few words in the guy’s ears to make him stumble out of the tavern.

“ I don’t think the bartender here enjoys your presence, ” You hushed into the guy’s ear. He, upon noticing DILUC’s unrelenting glare, mutters a short apology before rushing out of the tavern with no hesitation. It was best of said guy to think that was his first and only warning.

With a sour smile, ITTO reluctantly introduces you to one of his old ‘friends’. Upon hearing his friends’ name, you pursed your lips into a small smile however, it looked unnatural. This must be the guy your boyfriend couldn’t stand, huh? Countless times had ITTO ranted to you about this guy. He was mischievous in every horrible way possible. You probably guessed that very few people like him, a no brainer really. How would anyone like this guy if even your boyfriend, the most friendliest and welcoming guy you’ve ever met, doesn’t? In an instant, this guy’s lips curved into a scheming little smirk as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders and talked to you casually. A very bad move to make on someone you’d just met. No manners?

It unfortunately and obviously made you uncomfortable however you just kept forcing a nervous grin. The longer this guy talked, the more ITTO felt annoyed and ignored. His bright, fake or not, expression turned into a tired deadpan as he trailed behind both of you. You could feel his intense gaze on your back, making the situation worse. Naturally, you decided to stop this guys’ nonsense. You leaned to his ear and whispered softly, “ I hope you know I’m taken ‘cause my boyfriend seems to dislike you. ” You shrug his arm off of your shoulder. The guy merely shrugs and walks away. ITTO’s serious expression and hard eyes following his every move as he snatches your hand away and drags you somewhere else.

You weren’t really sure how you got into this situation. The Balladeer, Scaramouche, flirting with you. You got suspicious of his intentions. Why would he, a high ranking harbringer, flirt with the 11th’s s/o? Unless, he’s doing this on purpose to anger the ginger. Indeed he was, but both you and CHILDE weren’t aware. And so here Scaramouche is, shamelessly hitting on you. He laughs to himself when he manages to get a reaction from you from one of his corny pick-up lines. CHILDE, pouting originally, watched with a grimace. If he could, he would definitely challenge the short man to a battle despite the fact that he was undeniably weaker.

“ Perhaps you should quit this. He doesn’t seem to like you, ” You mumble loud enough for only Scaramouche to hear. He spares a gaze at CHILDE’s slumped over figure before his eyes flickered to your nervous face. He smirks slightly but it fades into mock surprise. He apologises and backs away. When out of both persons line of sight, he smirks, celebrating internally at how his plan worked. Meanwhile, CHILDE cages you in his arms and chats avidly, pretending nothing had just happened.

KAEYA holds his wine glass in his hands and watches the dark liquid swirl in his hold. He mentally sighs at the feeling of boredom overtaking his mood. How he wished he could go over to your guy friend and tell him that you’re his and his alone. Though that impulsive decision would make your relationship public and he doesn’t want to risk your privacy and safety. Little did he know, you’d already told your guy friend and reminded him not to get too friendly. Yet here he is, hugging your arm close to his chest and his flushed face mere inches away from yours. KAEYA could only watch from afar reluctantly, yet curious to see what you’d do. He’d help if he could but in public, you two barely interacted with each other. And to see the Calvary Captain defending you from nowhere would certainly leave some curious and speculating.

Diluc watches his brother from behind the counter with an unamused expression. KAEYA think he’s telling him how pathetic he is with that sassy gaze. You clicked your tongue, annoyed by your friends’ obnoxious antics. “ Listen, its pretty obvious to anyone but you that my boyfriend doesn’t really enjoy me or him being around you, ” You spat. You could practically hear his heart cracking from your bluntness. Though you didn’t care, head pounding at his screechy voice. You could tell the brothers, a few feet away, were getting annoyed of his voice too. KAEYA watches Diluc, whose right eye twitches, throw that bitch out while snickering with your arms wrapped around his torso.

The usually patient ZHONGLI would handle situations with utmost maturity. Especially when someone would go up to either of you and flirt. However, today was different. There was this girl who had walked up to you and started shamelessly flirting and asking you out. You shook your head and shot her a nervous smile but she persisted. At this point ZHONGLI was getting impatient and annoyed. He had tried three times to confront her and kindly tell her that you were taken yet she’d brushed him off as if he was nothing but a mere dust particle riding on the breeze.

He heaves an exasperated yet quiet sigh and gives you a pitiful look, to which you returned. ZHONGLI’s icy glare was so hard you felt sorry for the girl who it was targeted at while she tried to ignore a gaze boring holes through her head. You gulped, catching his amber eyes glinting in annoyance. “ I don’t think my partner here likes you. Why don’t we talk about this some other time? ” You dryly chuckled. The girl nodded and side-eyed ZHONGLI, scoffing and finally walking away. Attitude much?

Notes: All characters are fluent in Teyvat's Common language. This is written based on the headcanon that Teyvat has multiple languages.

A/N : My cat did not want me to write this. She wants only love and affection and no writing. I wrote this today and I didn't edit so if you notice mistakes let me know!

Childe

He knows the basics of most.

Part of a Harbinger’s training is learning the basics of all major languages and communicating effectively in them.

He’s most fluent in his native Snezhnayan followed by Elegant Fontaine’s.

Recently his Liyuen has gotten much better. he can comfortably carry on conversations without getting confused.

His worst has to be Sumeru’s. Though that’s only because Dottore goes out of his way to sabotage his studies.

During his time in the Abyss, Skirk had taught him an ancient language. He doesn’t know the name of it or its origin. He hasn’t even seen any remnants of that language after escaping the abyss but after spending 6 months speaking it, he won't be forgetting it anytime soon.

Diluc

A little bit of everything

When he went MIA for those 2 years, he picked up quite a few words.

He can read or speak those languages but he can understand simple phrases.

He can speak traditional Mondstadtian (formal and informal).

It was common practice for nobles to learn Formal Mondstadtian and speak it regularly.

He is also fluent in Snezhnayan. He learned it before he got banned from the nation.

he continued to study the language after being banned if only to be able to write in Formal Snezhnayan when he has to deal with the Fatui or foreign nobles.

Kaeya

He knows 3 (if you count commons)

He knows Formal and informal Mondstadtian.

When he was little and just started learning it, he was so excited he would only speak in it.

Crepus always encouraged it. Loving the way the young boy's eyes would light up when he spoke the language of his adopted home.

Before his father left him in Mondstadt, he was taught Khaenri'ah. He can read and write it albeit at a child’s level.

When no one is around to hear, he’ll speak to himself in Khaenri'ah. He’ll never admit it but he’s terrified he’ll forget it if he doesn't practice every day.

Itto

Surprisingly he speaks a handful of languages.

On top of traditional Inazuman, He also speaks the language of the Oni.

He also knows multiple Tengu and Yokai languages.

He learned them after seeing a group of little kids bullied over speaking their languages.

It reminded him of his childhood when he was bullied for speaking his “demon” language.

It took him a while to learn them and he still isn't fluent but he’s able to understand and read them pretty fluently.

His pronunciation still isn’t the best though.

Bonus!Zhongli

Of course, the being that's been alive for over 7000 years knows multiple languages.

He knows thousands. Extinct or forgotten.

He knows the languages of fallen kingdoms and clans.

If you want to know the history of a language, he can tell you in detail.

It’s really an insult to think he couldn’t.

In order to make proper contracts with people, it's best to write in their native tongue for easy understanding and fewer Misunderstandings.

Not to mention, as a Certain Drunkard once taught him, Stories, songs, and any type of artform hold a different power when you understand it in its original language.

It allows you to truly appreciate the art in full.

I feel it important to clarify the Language HC. They would be a mix/ inspired by multiple languages. NOT exact equivalents. (Mondstadt = German, Dutch, Swedish || Fontaine = French, Italian, Latin,)

There are more influences. This is just to give an example.
