Serious Sam second encounter – Sam makes a surprise!

I continue to play second something like part Serious Sam. Which is Second Encounter. Yes, there is some tricky thing about with Serious Sam 2. And I am about Second Encounter. It is everything funny and green. Paradise for a tourist. And also, action game. It is so funny as idea.

And by the end. Closer to end. I think it is almost end already. Sam starts to make a surprise again! Theme is changing! From bright jungles. To the gothic dark Quake, and next to winter theme. And hell caves. As in role playing games about Dungeons and Dragons. Saying short, it is lots of things to go! Such a full scale huge levels. With most different themes. Wow! I was very surprised!

So, get back from countryside. Turn on computer. So, I think that Sam in grass, there in bushes, Egypt someplace. And here next stage - absolutely another! Citadel. Cursed like village of the damned. Like horror movie. Or style of first Quake. Such a dark style. Moon there is shining in some place. It is impressive!

And forward! Forward! Winter theme. Winter level. Something like it is snowman stands there at the side for a fun. Robots looks excellent in winter. And these bugs ants soldiers from Star Wars so sci fi. Everything looks exciting. There are scenes at the ice. So, you are slide along the ice. Wow! Physics of the game can make this. And as it is a rule here - crowds of enemies. Waves with enemies from all the sides.

And to the forward places. There are caves there. They are already in a fire. This is already like role playing game. About dungeons. Like it is RPG. Some elements of fire. As first boss in Quake. It reminds a lot high quality role playing game screenshot.

Top 10 DCOMs 1/10: Hannah Montana: The Movie

Technically I don’t think this is a DCOM but I feel like it should be and how could I not put it on this list with all these other classic movies. If you were a 2000s baby you grew up watching Hannah Montana or you at least knew who she was. I loved the series and of course I loved the movie too.

The movie was very different from the show but I think that’s part of why I really loved it. It was a very different setting with a lot of new characters and we got to see a different side of Miley. I like that she goes back to her roots and finds who Miley really is again. I liked the small town country aspect to it because I’m a small town girl.

I really loved getting to see her with her family and the relationship between her and her grandma. I thought that was really sweet and real.

I obviously loved Travis and Miley and Travis together. I mean come on how can you not? There really isn’t any time that I can think of in the movie where he is a stupid jerk or he annoys me. He’s also really what Miley needs in this movie. I liked that we got to see her dad get a little bit of romance too in this movie because he deserves it.

I feel like in the show we see her hide Miley from the world more than we see her hide Hannah from the people close to her in the movie and I think it gives a really different side to the “best of both worlds” thing.

Of course this movie gave us some absolute classic bops that can never be forgotten. I still want to learn the Howdown Throwdown dance and Butterfly Fly Away still touches my heart. My favorites are for sure You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home and The Climb.

Oswald is a pretty good “bad guy” because he’s so frustratingly and annoyingly persistent and nosy. I like that he comes around in the end too.

I honestly think this movie is just fun and actually really deep and everyone could learn something from it.

It's Fyre, by Angie Sage. It's the seventh of her Septimus Heap series, which is about a boy who learns he's a wizard and has adventures (to put it in the most vague way possible, lol). I haven't actually started Fyre yet because I only just got it, and I want to reread the others before I do. But it's a great series. Bit of a lower reading level, though--if you're looking for it in the bookstore you have to go to the kids' section.
