My dream roles ranked by how hard I think they would be (if you’re also a theater nerd feel free to reblog this with yours!):

Zoe (Dear Evan Hansen) I love singing Requiem so so much. Her songs aren’t that hard and I think I could act absolutely disgusted with Evan QUITE easily.

Inez (Suffs) This role would fit my voice so well. Her songs are more mix than belt so I don’t think I would tire myself out. I also think I could do the acting well.

Jane Doe (RTC) I think that this role would be relatively easy for me, because she only has one song that I can do mediocrely after spending a LOT of time on it, and I could practice more with a teacher and stuff.

Veronica Sawyer (Heathers) Quite hard. Her songs are in my range but they’re so heavy and intense. It would be a crazy workout.

Natalie Goodman (Next to Normal) Crazy hard. Her songs are NOT as easy as they sound, like Superboy and the Invisible Girl, and the emotional performance would be soooo hard.

Eliza Hamilton: Living up to Phillipa Soo would be a TASK. I love her songs (Burn and Helpless especially but also Take A Break) but they’re sooooo fast and don’t let you breath 😮‍💨.

Janis (Mean Girls): Guess what my voice type is challenge lol. It’s very similar to Barrett Wilbert Weed’s, for a hint. Apex Predator, Cautionary Tale, and Revenge party are so amazing to sing EXCEPT for the stupid stupid B4 and C5 belting. This role might be the end of me if I got it.

Elphaba (Wicked) Screaming crying throwing up. No where near my current skill level. But I love her songs so if I ever really lock in maybe I could get there.

Regina (Mean Girls) At least on par with Elphaba in my humble opinion. World Burn is one of the most beautiful and simultaneously most difficult pieces of music I’ve ever heard.

my dream roles

ranked from the one i want to play the most to the one that id probably be fine if i never played ( plus my commentary )

1. pugsley - the addams family musical ( i relate him to him sfm and hes just one of my favorite fictional characters of all time )

2. sharpay - high school musical ( i loveee playing villains especially bullies or mean popular kids like her )

3. plankton - the spongebob musical ( im very short and also good at playing villains , and hes one of my favorite fictional characters as well ( and i oddly relate to him in a way ?? ) )

4. emcee - cabaret ( this is my favorite musical ever and i pretty much cry anytime i hear i dont care much - i still miss the production of this that one of my local community theatres did a few years ago sm , also kinda relate to this character in a way )

5. lucy - youre a good man , charlie brown ( so fun fact i was actually cast in this role before but we werent able to preform and i need to play her someday to finally feel fulfilled )

6. lord farquaad - shrek the musical ( short , villain , flamboyant . need i say more )

7. elsa - frozen ( my childhood plus shes gorgeous and i love the broadway version of let it go sm )

8. tracy - hairspray ( id also be cool with link or amber but this show just means a lot to me its so inspirational and stands for a lot of things i believe in )

9. charlie - willy wonka ( probably the role ill never play but i love him :(( ive got a golden ticket !! )

10. ms shields - a christmas story ( ive been in this show 3 times and once i get to play her ill be fine never being in it again )

11. bilbo - the hobbit ( im short as ive stated and i just love the hobbit / lotr sm )

12. kevin j - come from away ( a freaking MASTERPIECE of a show that is so disgustingly underrated . if you dont know it , kevin j is gay and his boyfriends name is also kevin . hes my favorite character and hes just so sassy and sarcastic i love him )

13. lefou - beauty and the beast ( short and gay and goofy af )

14. anybodys - west side story ( a show i feel like any theatre person should be in at least once and i really relate to them )

15. jovie - elf the musical ( sarcastic and really sweet character arc plus i love her solo :)) )

16. mayzie - seussical the musical ( i love playing characters like her , just flamboyant and self absorbed and snarky , its a lot of fun lol )

17. hodel - fiddler on the roof ( also a show that means a lot to me as judaism means a lot to me and her song is just so beautiful and relatable and heartbreaking )

18. ladahlord - james and the giant peach ( just a fun kooky mysterious narrator role that i think would be a lot of fun )

19. marlin - finding nemo ( dorky dad character kinda same reasons i love adam maitland )

20. joseph - joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat ( close every door 🥲🥲 )

21. donny novitski - bandstand ( ngl i dont know all the songs to this show but donny novitski is such a fun song to sing )
