OH GOD YES PLEASE. I love you for asking this oh my gkljdskjjk. I actually already have so many headcanons from these two, so this should be easy.
who cooks normally?: They're both competent cooks, and they like cooking together. Eames likes making sandwiches for Arthur's lunch, and Arthur likes making elegant dinners for Eames.
how often do they fight?: They fight more frequently than most couples, because of how dangerous the job is. Whenever Arthur thinks Eames is putting himself at unnecessary risks, he gets mad at Eames, and that leads Eames to think that Arthur can't handle himself. However, they've followed the rule and never gone to bed angry.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: Jobs can be international, and they're away from each other all the time. Moments spent together are scarce and sweet. Eames sends Arthur cheesy emails with multiple innuendos, and while Arthur keeps his interactions with Eames as formal as possible, he sometimes sends anonymous flowers to Eames' doorstep.
nicknames for each other?: Eames calls Arthur a variety of British pet names, from "darling" to "dearest". Arthur calls Eames "asshole" but he does so with love.
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Eames likes paying for dinner, so Arthur lets him. They have about the same income anyway.
who steals the covers at night?: Eames stole the covers for a long time at the beginning of their relationship, but Arthur discovered that if he snuggled up close enough to Eames then the forger would stay under the blankets and let Arthur stay beside him.
what would they get each other for gifts?: Eames would buy Arthur cologne or an expensive gold watch. Arthur would buy Eames flowers and custom t-shirts that say things like "I Made Out With Arthur" on the front and then on the back "And He Liked It".
who kissed who first?: Eames flirted with Arthur until Arthur burst with unresolved sexual tension and kissed Eames, surprising both of them.
who made the first move?: Eames. Duh.
who remembers things?: Work-wise, Arthur remembers things. He's got a better memory than Eames, even though Eames takes his job just as seriously as Arthur takes his. However, in their personal lives, Eames remembers things like anniversaries and birthdays and whether they've run out of eggs or not.
who started the relationship?: Eames had wanted to get into a relationship with Arthur since he'd met Arthur, but Arthur had rejected his advances out of hand. It wasn't until Arthur kissed Eames and Eames kissed him back that the relationship mutually formed.
who cusses more?: They cuss in equal amounts. They probably have "cuss-offs". Eames uses British swear words, whereas Arthur employs the mantra "fuck".
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: They're both extremely possessive and protective of each other, and although they know that the other person can handle themselves, they still worry. If one of them gets hurt, the other will first comfort them, and then go seek out whoever hurt them.
