My event monitor comes off in four days and I can’t fuccin wait because my skin is blistered and scabbed from the adhesive. “Made for sensitive skin” my ass.
On the Phone with the CMC
*I'm on a heart monitor to check on my Tachycardia and periodic Blood Pressures as well, because of my migraines and how they could be associated with this. Whenever I press the symptom button on my monitor, I have to call to transmit my readings on a landline*
Me: So I called, because it beeped while I was on the elliptical doing light exercise, and then I started having symptoms. Chest Pain, Heart was pounding, Dizziness.
CMC Worker: Well, did you stop exercising?
Me: No, I thought I'd just ignore the 'Time to Call' warning and continue on with my walking on the elliptical. You know, dumb teenage things.
CMC Worker: *Laughing her ass off* You're not funny.
Trying to sleep with this heart monitor on is nearly impossible. I keep getting tangled in the wires :(
This is the only outfit that is is comfortable with all these heart monitor wires! Trying to stay positive living the life as a Spoonie Angel! 😇✨
Update: heart monitor thingy!
So, I finally got it after a lot of stress and confusion with the order in the system and my new doctor BUT
I THOUGHT I WAS ONLY WEARING IT FOR A WEEK BUT THEY WANT ME TO FOR A MONTH???
I'll survive but it's itchy because my skin is super sensitive to sticky stuff even bandaids. I have to charge and swap batteries every week, charge the phone that monitors stuff every night and keep it within 10 feet of me. I also have to hit the button on the monitor and record symptoms in the phone when I feel off.
Wish me luck!! I hope it brings answers I'm so tired of getting dizzy, nauseous, almost passing out and chest pain :(
also thank the gods I have multiple replacements because I don't trust it to stay on lmao
