💃 had a fallout viewing party with a couple of friends!! I set up a few props and just wanted to share 💕

My BDay came up this last week and we had a Fallout Themed party!

Made lots of wasteland food, nuka-cola from scratch, and spent extra time making props- boxes, cans, labels, and most important- caps!

Lineup was pretty big, but it was blast, the food came out yummy, and the aesthetic was on point 👌🏻

Hey, so it’s that time again!

Sole Party and Sole Party 2.0 have been great successes with lots of people joining in to share their Sole Survivors! Since Sole Part 2.0, I’ve had people ask for another event like Sole Party. Lots of people requested for me to do a Courier Party or Lone Wanderer Party, but then I thought “Not all Fallout OCs are Sole Survivors, Lone Wanderers, or Courier 6, but they all deserve love too.” I made Sole Party as an idea for everyone to share their Sole Survivors in an event where everyone can bond over sharing their OCs and develop them further, and now I want to bring that back. So here is the result of time spent thinking of what I could possibly do for this party.

Introducing the Fallout party where all and any Fallout OC is invited! Got a raider who harvests organs, a super mutant who wants to pick flowers all day, or a Courier with Nuka Cola for the brain? They’re all invited to this party, any number of characters, any level of sane or insane, this party is good for them all!

Want to join in? Fallout Party starts on September 3rd and ends September 9th!

Here are a few things to please keep in mind when joining in:

-Please be respectful to everyone. There has been previous things that had happened in the past where people would bash others characters, that’s not what this event is for. I want everyone to be able to unshamelessly talk about their characters without people calling them cringe. 

- There’s no limit to how many characters you want to talk about! I know I’m gonna be talking about 4 characters of mine (Ferus, Oizys, Betty, and Seabait) and you’re free to talk about just 1 of yours or all of them!

- And no limits to what kinds of characters! Main protagonists, Raiders, Vault Dwellers, wasteland creatures, super mutants, robots, if you got it, then bring them over to party!

- For each day, put your entry in the #fallout party tag! I will be tracking #sole party as well so if you want to tag it as such you can too! I will be reblogging everything I see in both tags!

Here are the events for each day!

Day 1- Who showed up to the party? Tell us a bit about your character/s, their backstories, personalities, everything.

Day 2- Now that introductions are out of the way, how does your character/s like to have a fun time out in the good ole wasteland? Do they have a usual routine?

Day 3-  How would your OC/s go about dealing with the unfriendlies in the wasteland? Would they attack innocents, become the keeper of peace, or would they run away from all danger?

Day 4- Relationships are a fun topic. Is your OC/s in love? Platonic love? Frenemies? or are they an anti-social shut in who hates everyone, just like Kaeso. Tell us about their relationships!

Day 5- The wasteland is teeming with different groups of people to those nasty Legionaries in Arizona to the unrelenting Brotherhood of Steel. Smaller groups, cities, and smaller factions, such as the Children of Atom, Diamond City, Megaton, Followers of the Apocalypse, and Atom Cats are also around and provide their own marks on their respective wasteland. How is your OC/s relationship with the groups in their respective wasteland? Got a good opinion, bad one, or did they just happily wipe said faction or citiy off the face of the Earth. Give us the good story.

Day 6- Your character/s just became their exact opposite! How did their personality and/or story changed? (Is your OC/s now evil? Are they goody two shoes? More sad or happy?)

Day 7- The party may be almost over but there is still time for one last event! We all have done crazy things in our lives, end this party with an explosion by telling the most wild true story your OC has to tell about their adventures!

Fallout Party Day 1- Who showed up to the party? Tell us a bit about your character/s, their backstories, personalities, everything. 

You get the feeling you should find a drink elsewhere...

I don’t really have many opportunities to talk about Pent since they’re not one of my main characters or involved in my personal canon at all, so I decided to use them for Fallout Party!

They lead the Flock of Atom, a splinter group of the Children of Atom, localized in Post-Apocalyptic Texas. The Flock was founded due to Pent’s dissatisfaction with the increasingly more violent Children of Atom, their poorer treatment of ghouls, and the lack of philanthropy with their fellow wastelanders. Something seems to have gone wrong along the way...

Pent themself (they/he) may seem off-putting at first due to the Radstag mask they never seem to take off, but once you get past those soulless green glass eyes they are a very charismatic being with a passion for doing what’s good in the world- as per their own morals. They are infamous even within their own Flock for having a very quick, very violent temper. It’s easier to just agree with them.

Day 2- Now that introductions are out of the way, how does your character/s like to have a fun time out in the good ole wasteland? Do they have a usual routine?

Redmond doesn’t have a strict routine, but he typically stays in and around Rivet City even after the completion of Project Purity. He continues with his medical studies to become a more qualified doctor but he also enjoys biological research on the side. They’re some of the only things that will calm him down.

Fallout Party day 1! - Who showed up?  Second part, the Owl by Saphenous Disdain is here

    It wasn’t hard to spot the group when they entered the town, an organised group, but they didn’t look like military - various outfits, various weapons, no drill in their moves. Except for the one leading them, NCR? Well, he was wearing the uniform…  A big dog walked by his side, and the leader looked around, with his tired eyes. He just wanted to be aware of everything around, have a sense of control. Without any hesitation this weird group of misfits headed to the main hall, where the mayor was about to pay for those willing to help with Legion raids.

Hektor is my main OC for the Fallout NV setting, leader of the independent formation called the Wolfpack.  Born in Flagstaff he left lands controlled by the Legion conflicted with his family and the whole faction, and joined the NCR to fight. Sadly, due to some unlucky events he got proclaimed a deserter. This didn’t stop him on his mission to fight.  He is very determined, with the philosophy that if no one wants to help him, he will achieve his goal anyways, alone, or not. Being often treated with little trust, or not appreciatd for his work, he’s also quite a loner, having to trust someone to talk about himself. Likes order and control, is often seen as mean, stiff and always angry. He just needs time to show, he’s not that bad.  Being honest and straightforward he can’t charm anyone, especially women.   I’ve been rping this character for nearly four years now - He’s been through a lot gaining and losing friends, enemies and love, and getting new and new scars in numerous battles. And he’s only 30 now.  Anyways, I hope someone else will love him as much as I do

Fallout Party Day Four: Relationships!

Courier Lynn: Lynn has lots of friends, but only a few that she fully trusts. Arcade is one of these, because he will always be honest with her (about most things). Veronica is Lynn’s datemate, and sometimes Julie Farkas is too. 

Chosen One Carla: Carla relies on her companions to help keep her out of trouble. She’s very close with Lenny (more than friends, sometimes), and bffs with Marcus and Goris. Myron is like the terrible nephew she never had, and she does her best to keep him in line. Her frenemy-with-benefits is First Citizen Lynette, and their relationship is...complicated. 

Sole Survivor Julia: Curie and Piper both have a thing going on with Julia, and it is one of those totally chill poly ot3 things. Preston and Nick are her trusted friends and confidantes, and Hancock is always chillin’ and ready to help Julia relax a bit. Danse and Deacon are...around, sometimes. Other than those friends, Julia tends to keep people at arm’s length, unsure of who she can trust in this unfamiliar world.

Fallout Party!

Day One

Who showed up to the party? Tell us a bit about your character/s, their backstories, personalities, everything.

Basically: Calypso is the Courier six; a wild child with absolutely nothing holding her back, and a strong believer in Independent Vegas.

Personality: Reckless, rude, and unpredictable is a good way to describe the way she acts around most people. She wants the jobs with the biggest stakes and the scariest monsters and, even when she’s not doing a job, she tends to go “all in” with almost everything. Calypso is intelligent, but she doesn’t use that intelligence when she’s out in the Wasteland. 

Calypso does have a softer side, but she rarely shows it and she hates acting very emotional. If her companions stick with her long enough, they begin to notice her little tells that show this other side. She often looks back at them, just to make sure they’re still there. She’ll even tell them facts about herself at seemingly random times, but she definitely calculates it all before she says it.

Background: Calypso apparently lost all of her memories after being shot. She didn’t even remember her name, taking it from a card she had in her pocket when she was found. She spends her first few weeks searching for any clues about her identity, but she can’t find any. She eventually gives up on the search.

Two months after she woke up, Calypso begins having intense nightmares. She hesitantly talks to Marie (a caravaner and one of her only non-companion friends) and realizes that these nightmares are her memories. With the help of Marie and Veronica, she’s able to find one of the places from her nightmares- a small, abandoned farm. Calypso stays there for a few days, coaxing memories out of hiding.

Marie was surprised when Calypso returned to the Lucky 38 and explained that she wanted to leave the past behind. No one else knows exactly what she remembered; Calypso simply said that she didn’t want the burdens of her past life.
