Hey guys! Outside of TADC, what fandoms are you guys a part of? For me, I'm not really a major part of any fandom, but I do snoop around small game fandoms like Oneshot, Wandersong, and No, I'm Not a Human. I was also a big (but casual) Pokemon fan when I was younger.

I swear I tend to gravitate towards series which has stone based/related characters that it ain't even funny. And three are in my top favorite interests too!
Knack (Main character has the same name as title is a golem or my personal species Relican(Relic Human))
Trollhunters (Supporting characters are trolls but the main character becomes a half and full troll)
And Journey To The West (The most popular of the main characters is Sun Wukong, a stone monkey. Cover is from the 1996 tv show based on the book. One of my favorite incarnations alongside Hero is Back movie/game Sun Wukong.)
If it ain't stone related characters, then the series either has geology or fossils being important items to the sole basis of the entire lore/story/worldbuilding. Put me in the same room with Toby Domzalski cause we'll be nerds together in our two shared interests lol.
Unrelated note, Sun Wukong would definitely adopt Jim and Knack if the three ever met. Any interesting person is enough to have the Monkey King's attention since monkeys are curious creatures. What's more interesting than a teenage warrior with a magic amulet(half troll or not) who fights evil and a relic golem who can go from 2 ft to 36 ft alongside using physical elements as armor?
Plus Sun Wukong is a family man as he calls his subjects 'his children' but also ask to be referred to as 'Father' or 'Grandpa Sun' in the original books. He will kill for them and done so many times. Human, demon/yaoguai, immortals, even other gods aren't safe from Sun Wukong's wrath.
Rip everyone that stirs trouble with either boy because the Monkey King will be upon them in seconds. This is a 5x immortal who literally wreaked havoc in the Heavens and only Buddha himself could stop Sun Wukong. Arcane Order are misbehaving children when it comes to him. I'm pretty sure Bellroc and Skrael can't turn into a 3 headed six armed behemoth nor their Titans can stand up to something like that either.
Knack would be the mature sibling who join Jim in his antics. Hides in his Trollhunter brother's travel bag as his smallest form can easily fit inside. Strength and durability testing with Half Troll Jim would be easier since Knack is able to shift into a suitable size. (Certain sizes changes his appearance drastically)
I also believe he might have the key to providing sunlight immunity as the golem can use sunstones. Sunstones are crystallized sunlight in the games that allows Knack to utilize various techniques or Super Moves: Relic Shockwave, Relic Tornado, Sunlight Blades, Relic Blast, Sunstone Barrier and Invincibility with a Super Sunstone. (I just realized Knack can essentially be considered an 'Anti-Troll Weapon' since the sunlight isn't converted into any other energy.)
Definitely teases Jim about Claire and totally ships Jlaire. Knack also uses his ability to change size to be an utter gremlin. Shifts until he's either tall enough that he can use Jim's head as arm rest or pluck him by the scruff. Never fails to irritate and embarrass the Trollhunter. You can consider Knack Jim's own Titan if ya want, especially if he gets ahold of giant relics again. Can I say a Knack bigger than the largest mountain would be enough to scare someone shitless? Jimbo is in very good hands.

23. Has your favourite character/ship changed over time?

Oh, most definitely! I've been in online fandoms for 25+ years now. Sometimes my favorite character or ship in a fandom shifted and sometimes it didn't. In a lot of fandoms, I am a multishipper, so I don't tend to have solid favorite ships (though I do often have NoTPs). I'll often end up adding new partners for a favorite character, but never moving away from the original ships I enjoyed.
Here some examples of tastes that shifted:
For NCIS, my favorite character is still Tony DiNozzo. However, my favorite pairing for him went from Tony/Gibbs to Tony/just about anyone other than other MCRT members (I particularly love him with crossover love interests).
For Buffy, I went from Willow being my favorite character to read fics for to Xander being my fave. For both I love seeing them with lots of different potential partners, though Spike was a major one for either as he's another favorite character in that fandom.
For Teen Wolf, Stiles is my absolute favorite, but I love the Hales in general, and Peter and Derek in particular. I'm also fond of Bobby Finstock, Kira, Erica, Boyd, and so many others even if they aren't usually my focus in writing. The story that got me into the fandom was Stiles/Derek, but it didn't take too long before Stiles/Peter entered my world and quickly became a preferred pairing.
Now that I think about it, outside of Buffy, I can't think of a fandom where my favorite character shifted. What is far more likely for me is that I will go from being ambivalent about a character in a fandom to outright disliking them. Sometimes it's because of the character's actions in canon (which is why I went from pairing Tony and Gibbs to pairing Tony with anyone else). Other times it's a mix of the character's actions in canon combined with how fans of a character act in fandom.
Otherwise, I'm more likely to just add characters and pairings to my interest than anything else. The nice thing about that habit is that it means I'm unlikely to ever run out of things to read. lol

Hi, I go by gossymer (or goss) and prior to tumblr, kept a semi-active blog on LJ. My primary fandom was Harry Potter but I currently lurk in Teen Wolf.
I've lurked in a lot of fandoms and shipped a lot of people/objects too XD Have also commissioned quite a bit of fanart in Avatar: TLAB and HP which can be viewed here or here. Also used to rec fic too.
I'm of South East Asian descent, grew up in Dubai, studied in Austin-Texas, and migrated with the family to Canada. Just applied for citizenship and hope to use the work holiday program to visit Japan, Korea or Australia in a year or two. My work is in design and I plan to get a kitten as soon as I get a landlord who won't evict me if I do.
My tumblr use is mainly for following fandom and Teh Shiny. I reblog stuff that I want to share but it may or may not be fandom related.
On the TV front, been following very few titles lately unlike yesteryears: Teen Wolf, Game of Thrones, Modern Family, Sherlock and Community.
Got my parents hooked onto The Good Wife (bought the whole series off ebay after I realized I'd marathoned the show half a dozen times already). Have yet to watch the latest season though since it's so very crazy and I want to wait for the season to end before binge watching it.
I got a free Galaxy Tab last year and it helped feed into my manga reading (the app Manga Rock is to blame). Manga+ and MangaCloud work better on my smartphone though.
Favorite manga of the year is Haikyuu, a volleyball title with lovely art - there's an anime coming out soon too! I also love the korean webtoon manwha The Gamer :) Oh and Tetsugaku Letra which isn't updated nearly as fast as I would like. Have caught up with Natsume Yuujinchou and am trying to get into Until Death Do Us Part but keep getting distracted.
For shounan ai/yaoi, there is Koi Nante Shinai, Mayonaka No Oyatsu, Koibitogokoro (the full series), Katekyo!, Love Stage and Kureko Kareshi no series. Free! is the swimming anime that was super fun too :D
My reading habits have switched to Sterek mainly, which I use Ao3 to keep up with. Blacktofade wrote me Knot the Average Alpha last year which I read half a dozen times and is LOVE. My favorite fics of last year can be found listed here on good reads.
Am trying to get into Welcome to Night Vale but I keep getting distracted while listening to it - have reached episode nine or ten I think? What I have heard has been seriously awesome - though I wish it were in book format like Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy >_>
