How long ago was my latest jazz concert? -Hux, via @general-gingerbowie
Oh, man. I'm not sure I remember, exactly. It's been a while.
And I've been kind of busy, so I'm afraid I haven't even been able to attend the last few in person. I just watched the holonet livestreams from my shop.
Though I stand by my opinion that maybe we shouldn't actually be sending livestreams of anything to the holonet, lest the Resistance trace the transmissions and find our new home base.
I don't know if they'd bother trying to hunt us down and kill us since we split off from the Final Order, but I absolutely DO NOT need Poe kriffin' Dameron knowing where we live and hanging around to annoy the hell out of us. It's bad enough he figured out our comm channels.
But I digress.
If you have another concert, I'll do my best to attend.
The day this fleet launches, freedom dies in the galaxy.

Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker - Xyston Class Star Destroyer Taking Off by Chris Voy
Isn’t it baffling how a Star Wars computer game is able to tell a more engaging, entertaining story than a Star Wars movie?
(For those not catching on, top image is the Final Order fleet constructed by the Sith Eternal, bottom image is the Eternal Fleet, constructed by the Eternal Empire.
One of the most sad background stories among Star Wars characters is about General Hux.
- forced into fighting since childhood
- Abused physically and psychologically by his own father, knew that his father hated him ever since he was a child
- His life was never given actual importance, just seen as an opportunity to build Brendol's empire
- His stepmother Martelle Hux hated him more than Brendol (his father)
- Was brainwashed extremely against the resistance, pledged to end the new republic
- Treated roughly by his colleagues, his peers, got picked on
- Got abused by his father's friends as well, both psychologically and physically
- His father used to abuse him both ways, even in public and private (this just breaks my heart)
- Never had an actual mother to care for him
- His father called him worthless, thin as a slip of paper, and weak willed
- Got thrown around his entire life, isolated himself, went through severe paranoia, thought that every single adult male is out to get him
- Even as a General, he still got ignored, abused, thrown around and forgotten by Kylo Ren, and Snoke
- Lost his best friend Captain Phasma
- Lost his only creation, Starkiller Base
- Lost his Finalizer (after the events of ROTR)
- He was demoted, rank was still there but not in spirit
- Replaced by Allegiant General Pryde, appointed by Kylo Ren
- Pryde knew Hux for decades, he was friends with Brendol and Martelle Hux, he was possibly another abuser of Hux
- Pryde also appointed two generals, and an admiral, sidelining Hux and taking the stormtrooper program away from his charge
- He soon realized that the First Order was just built for Palpatine's uprising, and that it didn't matter, nothing ever mattered, his rank didn't matter, and it was just a final stage to his fleet called the Final Order
- Having to be a spy because he was so, so done with all he fought and stood for his entire life
His background needs more recognition- his character is way complex and also important. He's way more than TLJ and TROS made us see.
