Strong, smart people of every age and shape that all have the same common misconception: Motivation isn't what keeps me going day after day, even during hard times. HABITS are. . You've created hundreds of habits in your lifetime. Some accidental, some intentional. Regardless, all of them took time and practice. You can literally learn to do anything if you have enough time and patience. Just like you've learned to naturally breathe, blink, and talk; you can also learn to eat well, move your body, and put your grocery cart away after you're done with it. (Seriously, don't be a jerk.) . Starting tip: Start SMALL!! Change one or two habits that you know will bring you energy and a better mood. Practice the heck out of them and when they start to feel natural, throw in a couple more.Before you know it, you'll be a habit-building machine and needing motivation will seem like a distant memory. Today, I’m celebrating. 🎉 I’m celebrating the fact that I have the ability to move my body, get stronger, and give myself some mental sanity each and every day. I used to think working out was just about being skinny, but I’ve since realized it’s SO much more than that. It’s about doing something for yourself, working towards a healthy, happy version of you that is THRIVING, not just surviving. So today, on National Fitness Day, I’m pushing play on my workout and feeling JOYFUL about moving my body. 💪 I have gained so much strength, both physically and mentally since starting these workout programs…and I’m HERE for it. Not only that, I have more energy, my clothes are fitting better, and I feel confident. I’m showing up and showing up for ME! And to make it even sweeter, I get to help the ladies in my group feel this way too and get their confidence back. It’s the best of both worlds. 🌎 What workout are YOU pushing play on today?
