The B-12 Protocol
I started the B-12 Protocol @ the Cherry Creek Weight Loss Center & I've seen a considerable increase in energy & stamina. They have several different plans & shot you can get to fit Your weight loss plans & goals, but thanks to Groupon I started the 25 week B-12 for $99 bucks!! Since they are selling one shot for $15, three for $40, and a bunch of other shots & plans that hit You in the pocket book I figure the B-12 Protocol was a good place for me to start!!
Push Ups
My push up game has gone through the roof!! I've never been much on doing push ups ever in my life. When I started working out I could barely do 10. I actually started doing them on My knees. I used to go over My guy 'The Juice's' crib & he'd tell me about his 500-1000 push up day & I'd be like DAMN!! Since I've been doing this B-12 Protocol I've been doing push ups like crazy. After reading a Men's Health article that said in order to get the pectorals & arms together I was gonna have to step up My push I took off!! Started with sets of 10, then 15, 20, & I've gotten comfortable with sets of 25. A few weeks ago I did My personal best of 235, I topped that with 350. Then turned around & killed that number with 575 the very next day. I hit My all time high once again & knocked down 700. I started with set of 40 up to 320, did a set of 30 to even it out, & then set of 25 to top things off. I think i'm gonna get one of those snazzy push counters that connect to the phone app.
Recovery
Since I been training all year without a break this year & I usually do six weeks on & one off, I've taken a much needed ten days to recover, get a massage, (which I haven't gotten yet) and start looking into changing My program. About to get into some Yoga & Spinning courtesy of My dear sister Chi who got Me a membership @ Breathe Yoga & Spinning Studio Denver & with My good friend Del who encourages me daily to come try it @ Core Power where she does the damn thing 5 days a week. I have My P90x & 20 Minutes of Insanity on the dvd player ready for Body Transformation 2.0! I'm suppose to get with Thal of 5050 A Movement Company & "Get Trained!" I'm looking for a New bicycle & some Roller-blades too! This will be the most active summer I've had since being a kid. I'm starting My 2nd Master Cleanse on 7-7-13 for anyone who cares to join me. I know that My goal is to be "Fit By 40," but at the rate I'm going, I'll be Fit by 39 & Phenomenal by 40! On that note, let me knock out some push ups. I almost feel lazy if I don't do a couple hundred a day now!!
Sad Week!
I was Definitely Lackluster on My workout this week! It's My 20th week in & I know I didn't attack it like I have in weeks prior. Killed it on Monday! Woke up @ 4:55 am, knocked out 40 minute of aerobics to get warmed up, hit the elliptical for another 45 to start My day. Busted My 'Morning Moves' & then on to the 'Kettlebell Challenge' because I can usually get that done before class on Monday & Wednesday (I also do it on Friday, My occasional sleep in day). On Tuesday & Thursday I've been doing the Gold's Gym Bootcamp Kit workout since I have a little more time in My day. Tuesday came & I got through the aerobics & elliptical, but skipped bootcamp so I can shampoo the carpet (& that was a workout in itself). Wednesday I lucked up & got to sleep in on a school day (which was Awesome). I hit the elliptical for 55 minute, but that was it for My workout on the day. Although I did log 9.49 miles on My pedometer, I really felt like I slacked on Wednesday. Thursday, I was almost 'On Point', 25 minutes on aerobics, 55 minutes on the elliptical, & I even got My bootcamp on. Friday was another lucky sleep in day, but unfortunately that was the only good thing about it was that I got 51 minutes of aerobics in. I use to take Saturday & Sunday off, but since I started taking account of calorie intake & burn, I've added 35-45 minutes of cardio to My 2 off days too. Maybe I slacked so hard this week because it was the 20th week, maybe because I've lost a few pounds, or maybe because I was coming off of a recovery week. When Monday comes, I'm gonna be Ready to Rock & Roll!! I got that New 50 lbs. Kettlebell on Thursday & My New 'Resistance Bands' & I feel I Need to Make Up for Last week!! I'm Ready though!!
