Did a flood check
I drove around to a couple area river spots to see how high the water is getting. In this area in the last couple days we got two to four fingers worth of rain (non technical jargon). The first shot is from the Saginaw River at Zilwaukee. I have posted pics from here before. 👇
The water is very high here but it is not over the banks. Maybe by tomorrow it will be. There are large puddles of water in many people’s yards and in many farm fields. The next shots are about twenty miles upstream from this point in a different branch of the rivers.
This shot is at a boat launch facility on the Tittabawassee River and you can see it is much different here. In the center of the pic, way out, is a group of four small trees. Just past that group is where the edge of the river is supposed to be. 😮
The whole area from these posts in the foreground to the small trees way out there is supposed to be the parking lot.
When I drove out to get these shots it started raining, then snowing, then it finally quit. This area has more rain due tomorrow. 😩
This crap can stop anytime 😠
