It’s taken about six weeks to finish this project. Last load of rocks going in today before Mother Nature turns up the heat. This cart helps so much, I’ve hauled all the rocks and bricks myself, and built the little patio. Building up endurance for fun summer activities. 💪🏼 💃💕
Damn, I sweat a lot. This is what I do instead of going to the gym. At least this last bit is in the shade. Now that I’ve laid the foundation I can start adding features like maybe waterfall and pretty flowers. Making our home feel like we’re on vacation. 🥰
PlyoJam Classes
Are you looking for something new to try in the New Year, or maybe you're short of funds but would still like to attend classes. Well, PlyoJam Suncoast Beaches (which is a 'franchise' of the PlyoJam LLC program) offers 100% FREE Zoom classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9am Eastern US time.
There is no catch, I guarantee you. The instructor has been teaching dance fitness for 15 years (Jazzercise and PlyoJam) and she does this out of love and wanting to share her passion with others. There are no hidden fees or catches, she doesn't sell your information, NOTHING. It is completely free.
It is over Zoom, so you don't have to leave the house, you don't have to turn your camera on if you don't want. After the 30 minute PlyoJam Dance Cardio workout, there is 30 minutes of strength training (so have your dumbbells ready) and then 30 minutes of stretching (a yoga strap is helpful). You can do one portion or all of them, come and go as you please!
If you are interested, message me and I will put you in touch with the instructor and she will give you the link to the Zoom meeting and the passcode.
If you want to get an idea of what PlyoJam is, you can google it and see some workouts on YouTube done by the creator of the workout.
Day 1 Stabilization workout - Biceps and Triceps
1. Use a foam roller and static stretch biceps and triceps
2. Abs
2 sets, do it until your form starts to break, 1 minute rest between sets
Dead Bugs
Plank
Alternating Arm/Leg Raise
3. Biceps and Triceps
3 sets of 12-20 reps, circuit if you can, 1 min rest between sets
One Legged Dumbbell Curl
Narrow Push-Up (if you can't do 12, do kneeling or wall push-ups)
One legged Hammer curl
Dips
If you can't do these on one leg with good form, start with alternating sides, then standing on something like a soft foam mat.
Stabilization helps with balance and challenges your muscles in a different way. If you're working out at home and have limited weights this is a great way to get more out of them!
You can swap out ab exercises but keep in mind that stability ab exercises should be about keeping the core tight and providing a strong base for the lifts. That's why the moves here have very little ab movement.
Work out
hey do you have a video for a work out that doesnt require to lay on the floor and uses no equipment? it hurts too much my back and hips bones when i lay down
Sure thing!
No Equipment Standing Abs Workout
Upper Body Standing Workout w/o Equipment
Lower Body Standing Equipment-Free Workout
I honestly can't recommend Fitness Blender enough. The workouts are straight to the point with different levels of difficulty and navigating their webpage is a piece of cake.
I don’t recommend the app, but everything else? Go for it.
There are also some seating variations, if that’s easier on your back, though I’ll actually have to hunt those down, as I have no idea where they went.
READ THIS BEFORE YOU START THE ONE-PUNCH MAN TRAINING PROGRAM!
The One-Punch Man Training Program is simple, but difficult. It's not so much that the individual days are difficult (which they can be if you don't like running), but that the piling on of fatigue day after day can lead you easily into injury, especially if you're starting from nothing. So, there are somethings we need to cover before you begin on such an endeavor. The OPM Training Program is first, and foremost, an endurance program and will take a significant amount of your time to perform each day. If you do not foresee yourself having 2-3 hours per day on average to train, then you should not start the program. Obviously, as you become a faster runner or more in shape, certain days will be much shorter than others. (It also helps to support us on Patreon!)
