All of him is beautiful #Love when he plays the straightman to Edgar too - it's so rare but it happens! And it's wonderful!!!#And then he goes right back to joking and Edgar doesn't appreciate it at all! He's simply no fun ♥

#continuing to prove my point that he thinks of the important things very quickly compared to most people.#They were all mostly talking about Ibara but Ukyo moves them to consider Kirisame more. Wonderful example of divergent thinking right here #I mean also an example of author bias honestly (it becomes difficult to know what the next logical piece is when you know everything)#but y'know #to me I also take this as a point towards my headcanon for Ukyo & Gen where Ukyo is able to read Gen better than most #now if that seems like a leap. it might be but bear with me #I've said before Ukyo is very good at taking a large amount of information and figuring out what the few important points are #as a mentalist a large part of Gen's manipulation relies on distraction or misdirection; taking one's attention away from what's important #by causing them instead to focus on something unimportant #like later in this scene he “teleports” by getting everyone's attention on the drone while he quickly moves to Moz's side #it's something that works both with the senses and with the mind. What the topic of conversation is what's being said etc.#that's like magic 101. We all know it but we still fall for it because it's how most people's brains usually want to work #but let's say Ukyo's tendency to think about other angles like this extends to regular conversation (which I'd say it does)#that means Gen can't always talk his way around Ukyo the same way he can other people #because Ukyo always remembers those important details Gen tries to distract him from #meanwhile Ukyo himself is usually quite difficult to read putting Gen further at a disadvantage. I just got back from an all-day AI consultation at work. A resident data scientist (me) is here to tell you that no matter what your AI usage is, no matter what you use it for and no matter how accepted or stigmatized that use is, set aside time and effort to develop your literacy and your hobbies and your skills for yourself, for the sake of yourself. Ignore the moral grandstanding going on everywhere, because that creates shame, can change anyway, and 99% of people talking like that don't understand how AI works even though they say they do while pretending like it's cool to not understand why companies are governments are pushing it. What prioritizing yourself looks like now is reading books, going to school or learning stuff in general and doing the boring work yourself that practitioners already learned for themselves, going outside, going to physical events and businesses, ignoring ads, ignoring trends and I fucking mean that, and separating your job from everything else in your life as much as you can. Not because it's even the right thing to do, but because it's what's good for you and what will actually make you feel better and feel more like a person. Anyway, I've been considering what substances I should start abusing, and I think my only option is actually unsafe sex. Watch this space

I think intimidation bc their aesthetic seemed so Metal™ I thought that's what they were #and finding the right time to ensure they didn't distract me too much pft but it has finally been done they are more like 80s-ish #rock stuff and that is fun and whimsical I like it. [Lying to myself:] Woah I can't believe they brought back Legends-style cloning in disney Star Wars... if you're going to do it then do it like in Heir to the Empire— when it was introduced with the character Joruus C'aboth; what a neat reference to Thrawn's first appearance! —it should be some years after the New Republic is established :). Our Sabine was obviously replaced with force-sensitive clone Sabiine. Actual Sabine must've headed out on the search for Ezra earlier and hasn't come back... hope she's doing well and makes it home... miss you girl... Clearly this is the only explaination for Sabi(i)ne to be force-sensitive and they didn't mess her character up badly! Haha I bet the non-legends fans are totally confused about why Sabi(i)ne just seems a little bit off all the time ;)
