⧼Random Norse mythology ship head cannons: Magni x Thjalfi⧽
Ahh! More ships because I just can't help myself- am i the only one that ships this? Probably, but hopefully i could change your mind teehee~ >;)

How did they met?
When Thjalfi and his sister Roskva were taken in by Thor as his servants, adjusting to their new lives was challenging, but they managed to stay in line. Life became brighter when they discovered that Thor's family included children around their age. Thjalfi quickly befriended all of Thor's kids and grew up alongside them.
However, as they reached puberty, Thjalfi developed a crush on Thor's favorite son, the mighty Magni, who had matured into a strong and impressive young man. Being around Magni became increasingly difficult for Thjalfi due to his burgeoning feelings for him but when they finally became a couple things got easier.
Their dynamic!
Despite being a servant of Thor's family, Thjalfi and his sister were always treated as an equal!
Thjalfi was always easy to get along with, sweet and a very helpful lad, which is what drew Magni in.
Thjalfi wasn't like other men, who were hard to connect with, cold and distant!
Thjalfi on the other hand had always admired Magni from a distant, keeping his feelings hidden for as long as he could.
Thjalfi had always been insecure over his sexuality and falling for someone else in general.
When he still lived in Midgard, being with the same gender, especially for men was looked down upon in his family.
It clearly having left a mark on him, only made things worse for him later in life.
He just knew from the day he had met Magni, that he really adored him and his strength. He was truly a sight.
Before they got into a relationship, Magni often teased Thjalfi over how he acted around him.
Thinking it was all in good fun and hoping it could prove his suspicion right.
That Thjalfi had some kind of crush!
When they finally did get together, Magni was pretty open about the fact he was dating Thjalfi and his sexuality.
Magni never shut up about how great Thjalfi was and always praised him for his hard work.
This always makes Thjalfi emmberesed, but at the same time he appreciates it.
In their free time, Magni and Thjalfi like to compete against each other just for fun!
Magni always wins when it comes to strength but Thjalfi in speed. (Cannon to their strengths in the myths!)
They also enjoy going horseback riding on Magni's horse Gullfaxi.
And often Thjalfi is incharge of caring for Gullfaxi, the horse bonding quite a bit with him.
Magni even lets Thjalfi borrow Gullfaxi if he ever needs him to run errands!
Magni has on more than one occasion, jokingly said Gullfaxi looks a lot like Thjalfi and could be their son.
Just because the horse's gold mane looks a lot like Thjalfi's blonde locks. (Skáldskaparmál 17 refrence)
Thjalfi doesnt like to admit how funny it actually is to him as well.
If they are lucky the two boys are able to convince Thor and Sif they will be out riding late into the night.
Only to actually go visit Jarnsaxa, Magni's mother in jotunheim! (Skáldskaparmál refrence)
Jarnsaxa is very supportive of Magni's relationship with Thjalfi and always prepares food and a warm bed for them.
She also tends to ask, ''When are you two moving to jotunheim? i know a few women who would love to give up their child to you two!''
Magni always tries to brush this question off, meanwhile Thjalfi is left speechless at the customs they apparently hold.
Thor and Sif are accepting of their relationship too, but didn't allow them to sleep together until they got married.
Despite this Magni convinced Thjalfi many times to sneak into his room to cuddle during cold winters.
Odin never favored Magni despite saving Thor at only 3 years old, thanks to his strength. (Skáldskaparmál reference)
So when he heard Magni and Thjalfi were dating, he had more reasons to hate on Magni. But Magni could careless!
Magni's favorite pet names for Thjalfi is:
"Alfi" (Shortened version of his name) ''Unnvinur'' (Beloved friend) ''Hraðskreiðr'' (Fast runner)
And Thjalfi's pet names for him is:
