As the little tiefling girl disappeared into the crowd Valreus looked at Rolf. “Totally workable.” He was satisfied.
“You mean totally too trusting” Rolf sighed.
“And that is what I need. Blind trust. And that I won’t get from you.” Valreus smiled and adjusted his jacket.
“Blind trust for you? Have you seen your track record?” Rolf scoffed.
“Actually I have, I am quite proud of it.” Valreus gave a playful shrug.
“I have to say, you have gotten better with your illusion spells. It took you what… your whole lifetime to learn.” Rolf gestured towards now blank piece of paper in his friend’s hand.
“Too bad there isn’t great enough illusion spell to cover up your ugly mug.” Valreus scoffed.
“Speaking of ugly... You should really shave that beard off… And do something about those horns. You look like a failed con artist.” Rolf gave smirk.
“Oh your insults cripple me emotionally. …” The tiefling grabbed the vest over his heart and flinched in pain, but couldn’t hold his laughter for long. Eventually Rolf joined. ***
a little snippet from Eiko’s backstory~
Okay, I really had to draw Valreus and Rolf side by side, because this bromance is my thing right now. :3 NPCs from Eiko’s backstory.
Also I’m trying out a new shading technique. I like how it looks!

Half-Elf Rogue Character Sheet
Well…. The procrastination rakshasa got me again. Damn reincarnating jerk. Anyway, I hope you can all enjoy today’s NPC character sheet and adventure hooks for the half-elf rogue known as Albero Cuoco.
Character Sheet: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1frCW2GmlUKiop0_zb4cxSQ88Rzqen4Dr
Adventure Hooks: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Mh34LMnZRGSK5aLWRw2EjWiVHLkK60YeUVjzO7uUGrA
Albero is useful because he could swing either way as an ally or an enemy. Heck, he could start out as one and become the other. For less than lawful PCs he can be a quest giver or even a mentor, while non-chaotic individuals might come into conflict with his organization. Of course, Albero isn’t evil: he may be a thief and lead a guild of thieves, but he and his followers don’t kill except in self defense. At least, that’s what he trains his followers to do, which doesn’t absolutely guarantee they follow his creed. This can lead to interesting plotlines, such as what if Albero is framed for murdering a noble? Or maybe Albero’s chief lieutenant is becoming more and more aggressive in their actions and the PCs are forced to kill them? Could be that an ACTUALLY evil crime syndicate is engaged in a turf war with Albero and trick the PCs into weakening his guild. Lots of possibilities with an NPC like this half-elf man who just wants his damn coffee.
At the end of the day, all Albero wants is to make some coin for himself and his people so they can live decent lives. The fact that this coin is stolen is merely a result of the unfairness of the society he lives in. And stealing is what he’s good at, above all else. Honestly, Albero is not going to be the best at fighting. Don’t expect to use him as a top-tier duelist or assassin for his level. But if you need a pretty good pickpocket or spy? Someone who can get in and out of places or situations? Albero is the half-elf for you. Additionally, you could use him as an informant or information broker. As a thief, and as the leader of a guild of thieves, Albero likely has a good amount of interesting things he could tell players. And not necessarily for coin, he might just slip that info to them so they can do something with it. Maybe it’s about someone he’s not strong or secure enough to go after himself. Could be that it’s something going on in the wilderness which… I mean, he’s a city guy (needs his coffee in the morning). Whatever the case, Albero rarely deals with more physical or dangerous problems himself. That’s what adventurers are for.
Check out my girl 🗡🗡🗡 Thank you so much, @wisperr, for this amazing portrait of my gal! I love it so much and I can’t get over how p e r f e c t l y you captured her mood and her aura.
