I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about accepting Orthodox Jews recently. And while I’m very happy that we’re getting some positive attention for once. I’ve noticed a lot of peoples arguments for why Orthodox (they really mean modern orthodox) Jews are cool is that they’re “not like ultra-orthodox Jews”. So here’s your reminder that if you don’t accept Jews you consider “too orthodox” then you don’t accept Orthodox Jews period.

Israel's achievements do not get enough credit. As we enter a new Jewish year, we must blow our own trumpet to send a much louder message about how Israel is making a huge positive impact for life on this planet.
Each one of the six Israeli medical articles in this week's newsletter, can benefit millions of patients - cancer sufferers, diabetics, IBD sufferers, the hearing impaired, those at risk of dementia, memory loss, victims of severe bleeding, and those with faulty heart valves.
We need to clamor that Israel is a mosaic of many religions including Druze who care passionately about their brethren being massacred in Syria. And the 1.7 million Israeli Muslims who received a visit from Rwandan co-religionists who prayed peacefully on Temple Mount. We must also loudly publicize to the world about Israel's humanitarian activities including that Israeli NGOs are helping African farmers to be self-sufficient.
We must fiercely promote Israel's environmental, social and scientific achievements. Israel is remotely managing 250,000 beehives in the USA. An Israeli is being funded by Europe to make Artificial Intelligent systems safe. And Israel is making discoveries that will revolutionize the world of optical lenses and computer storage.
Cry out to the world that Israel has developed drones that deliver food and medicine, but can also intercept drones that are sent by those who want to kill and maim. Call out those hypocritic countries that quietly purchase Israeli military technology to defend against terrorist states but scream when Israel itself uses it to defeat its existential enemies.
Finally, broadcast the news when more ancient Jewish relics are unearthed in the Jewish homeland, and loudly join in the celebrations when Jews once again travel the 3,000-year-old roads to its eternal capital Jerusalem.
The photo is of three different size rams horns (Shofarot), each ready to loudly welcome in Israel's achievements in the Jewish New Year.
I wish everyone who celebrates it, l'Shana Tova u'Metuka. A good and sweet New Year. I'm sure that we all hope that 5786 will be a Very Good Year for everyone.
Hey, can someone please explain to me what people mean when they say "frum"?
I always assumed it meant Ḥaredi, for some reason, which is why I don't consider myself Frum. But sometimes it seems people use it as a term for Orthodox Jews in general?
.
Israel’s high court ruled unanimously that the military must begin drafting ultra-Orthodox men — a decision that could lead to the collapse
