This might be stateing the obvous but alot of 'discorse' in this fandom is completely fuled by people who profit off of makeing fandom content.

Like they don't hate hazbin it's paying there rent. It's called lieing. People lie. Crazy fucking concept.

The visual language is doing a lot of quiet work here. The hair gradients alone are telling; Lilith shifts blonde to pink, Roo shifts brown to red. Pilot-era Lilith’s red sclera with white irises mirrors (old design) Roo’s eyes almost exactly. Then there’s Rosie’s Emporium reading as R.E. → “Root (of all) Evil,” which feels intentional. In the pilot photos, “Lilith’s” gaze toward Charlie reads as disapproving: cool, appraising, almost clinical. The expressions lacks familiarity or reassurance & suggests lack of attachment. I’m increasingly convinced that Roo (whether manifesting as Rosie, Eve, or some overlap of the three) is Charlie’s actual mother. The visual overlap isn’t subtle; the image of Lilith wearing the same dress as Rosie? Hello?

Okay,

so,

Hellaverse fandom is driving me INSANE.

I WILL CHEW ON THE FUCKING DRYWALL.

I first joined the fandom when Hazbin Hotel S1 was completed.

I used to be a Charlastor shipper. I absolutely LOVED that ship. Even though I knew it wouldn't be canon because Alastor is aroace and Charlie has Vaggie.

But APPARENTLY, liking this ship made me a disgusting, stupid person who deserves to DIE. People literally told me I should kill myself and everyone else who ships it. Because it's “disgusting.”

I was basically guilt-tripped into hating that ship.

IT DOES NOT EVEN MAKE SENSE!!!!!!!! Like first of all it’s not minor x human, nor animal x human! I just liked that ship because I liked how their personalities worked together! Meanwhile ships like RadioApple and RadioDust existed.

People accused ME of disrespecting aroace people by shipping them.

Like, HELLO????? DO YOU EVEN HEAR YOURSELF????

I really want to enjoy Charlastor again because thanks to all this I forgot why I even loved it.

After that, I didn’t interact with the fandom, but after HH S2 dropped (and I watched Helluva Boss) I decided to interact again.

NEVER AGAIN.

Because I love Stolitz (and Stolas is my fav), whenever I try to consume anything related to it, people are shoving their hate in my face saying how toxic the ship is and how Stolas is the worst character ever written and how it’s an insult to the entire Milky Way galaxy.

LIKE GEEZ I GET IT. I FUCKING GET IT. I’m more than aware that both Blitzo and Stolas are flawed and their relationship isn’t sunshine and rainbows.

I know your reasons for not liking the ship are valid. Cool. But I still enjoy it.

It’s as valid as your thoughts on it.

And hell nah, I’m not gonna let the fandom drain and kill the joy I have for this ship like what happened with Charlastor.

Forget ships, the Hellaverse fandom as a whole gives me rancid vibes now.

And yeah, like everything, there are exceptions.

I KNOW not everyone in the fandom is like this. obviously. but the majority? I cannot handle that shit anymore.

Some dumbass on Twitter: It's obvious Vivziepop changed Alastor's human design because of criticism and backlash.

Me: No dumbfuck, she changed his design because creators typically don't stick with the very first initial draft of a character and call it good! For fuck's sake just look at how many redesigns every single character in this series went through!

adding onto this (but it still deserves its own mini-post), why have i seen people claim chaggi is so bland, soulless, and full of nothing yet turn around and actively hate it so much? if there's no substance to enjoy then what do you even have that much passion for? i'm clearly missing something because logically i assume one would only feel neutrally toward the ship then, right? especially because anything about them that may cause division in the fandom are relatively tame compared to all the other "problematic" elements of the series.

before anyone argues, i'm not saying they shouldn't be criticized; sometimes it can be fair - just that it's a little weird to claim something and then make it seem like there's more reasoning to it than you let on.
