Well blow me over...Darren DID say that he would not play any more gay characters and he did so back in August

This is a dictated from the interview Darren gave to THR: Awards Chatter (you know- when he was doing promotion for his Emmy) August 26, 2018:
"....But I do think about that now, you know, if roles come by that are LGBT leaning - I really think it would be insensitive to the gay community if I were to take another role. I think they’d have my head. You know, I would totally understand that. So I’m certainly cognizant of it. And while it is very tricky, I think the discussion and the questioning is really really important. And I think it’s good that we’re uncertain and I hope that we can find some kind of balance." -Darren Criss, 8/26/18
The CCers claimed that Darren’s announcement that he would no longer play gay characters that was published in Bustle this week, were NOT his words. Of course they claimed that his team planted the story by giving the author, Shannon Carlin, the fully written article.
This is definitely Darren’s voice and those are Darren’s words. He is thoroughly enjoying himself throughout this entire interview. I say that because the CCers will claim that Michael or Ricky were standing off to the side- threatening to cut off his tongue and mail it to Chris if he doesn’t say what they want him to say. I guess if you are ridiculous enough to believe that, then I can’t help you...you are simply willfully ignorant and making it too easy for people to take advantage of you.
