I'm just obsessed with the trend of supernatural teen dramas because remember how back when you're a teenager it's so easy to be convinced that you're broken, that you're corrupted, that you're incapable of being saved and so we tell these stories, the same story, over and over, how monsters are not necessarily monstrous, how all is not lost to the darkness. There's this entire age group full of belief that they are horrific creatures in some way and to fight that, over and over they choose to consume the story of truly horrific creatures and show how they can be befriended and loved and become better and walk in the light.
