In many ways, you could say it’s because now you know you deserve better. You want purer things for your body. You want the real things—not fake things that look like food. You want high-quality. You want true beauty~🍒
Did you know that modern Japanese workers are some of the least nourished people in East Asia because they eat so much instant and frozen shit? TIME IS MONEY, BABY!! What’s in efficiency when it only leads to nutrition-deficiency? Ironic? Or moronic?🍋
It’s time we all learnt to go back to nature🥬
The true Revolution of Humanity is Environmentalism🍊
But you’ve gotta be smart about real knowledge! Otherwise the evil powers are just gonna trick you with jargons, semantics and optics!🍄
Things you can do to make life a bit better:
Breathing exercises. I know it sounds cliche but box breathing, 4 7 8 breathing, five finger breathing, breathing as though you're inhaling a scent and snake breathing can all be super useful. You can also look for other types of breathing exercises online.
Similarly, meditation can be useful. Meditation is like the highest level of mindfulness and there are guided meditation videos online, especially for beginners.
Writing down your hobbies, what is available to do if you are stressed, bored, anxious or depressed. Putting this in a visible place can also help, especially if you're prone to bed-rotting. If you find this list to be lacking—pick up another hobby, maybe a craft to do in your spare time.
Go outside. Breathe in the fresh air, feel whatever sun there in on your skin, touch nature with your bare hands or feet. (And if you have been needing a mobility aid and denying it maybe it's time to look into it again, you know if that's you.)
Try not to scroll endlessly. Doom scrolling impacts your mental health bad and constantly reaching out for content is not gonna do you any favours. Replace doom scrolling with another habit, maybe one you'd like to do more of. Reading especially is good for this ("oh but Fox I can't afford books" The library is your best friend. I'm so so serious, while fanfic can be enjoyable it is good to expand your horizons).
Make your own food. Only eating quick meals will deprive your body of nutrients and your brain the joy of eating. Bake some treats, cook a simple meal for yourself, family or friends and it can really improve your mood. You'll also have tasty food to eat after your labour.
Look after yourself and your identity. If you are repressing aspects of yourself, it may be time to open your journal or even a new document and just write whatever comes to mind.
