I'm disgusted by jkr and that will never change (even more after recent events). But I'm also shocked how quickly people let their anger out on hp fans instead of the politicians and terfs who let this happen in the first place. How is it going to help trans people if we just bully hp fans and tell them to **** themselves? The anger is justified, but I'm tired of watching how it's directed at hp fans who don't agree with jkr anyways. This isn't the demographic that needs to be mobilised and convinced.

She's going to continue her hate train no matter how big the fandom is (and she's a billionaire so sadly she has enough money for all the hate she wants, even if she stops getting royalties completely). Why should the only right thing be to call someone who likes a fanfic (or posts fandom content) a bigot? If you can't engage with hp anymore that's fine, but there are still people who find comfort in their creations derived from hp, and that's important in times like these.

I just had to vent, I feel like there's no place where I can say this without getting hate mail. Maybe others will feel the same.
