I finally finished...

3.7 had an extremely easy-to-miss bit during the Irontomb boss fight, and it feels a little ridiculous but I have to salute Hoyo for using everything at their disposal- including the places you would normally never think to look- because half of it was in the details screen for an enemy you couldn't even target in the background, and the other half was literally in the fucking pause menu.

But I really loved it, because! You can actually see what each individual Chrysos Heir contributed to that battle! It changes with every phase of the boss fight, so you can actually watch the progress of Irontomb's fall!

And that's already so so cool, but it's also really delightful how much thought Hoyo seems to have put into each of these, because I feel like each one really speaks to the actions of the character it represents.

Tribbie/Transfer Loop/Information Connection Timeout: Tribbie was the demigod of Passage, they transferred people place-to-place and kept the city-states connected and informed via the Century Gate.

Hysilens/Assertion Failed/Detection Unresponsive: Hysilens earned her path of Nihility; she was unable to assert herself and live on her own after the loss of her home, her family, her people. She was desperately clinging to Cerydra and her reign as a reason to live right up until the moment she killed her.

Cerydra/Illegal Protocol/Firewall Deactivated: Cerydra was the demigod of Law, and it was her death that changed the protocol of the Sceptor and allowed Herta and Screwllum back in, and to accomplish as much as they did.

Aglaea/Throttle Failed/Performance Overload: Aglaea pushed the limits of what a demigod could handle. She spent centuries enduring the gradual wear and tear of her very soul; even if Caenis hadn't killed her, she wouldn't have lived much longer. She was still trying to fulfill her duties, up until the very end.

Anaxa/Malicious Code Injected/System Out of Control: Anaxa's entire life's goal was to "sow the seeds of doubt." He lived to upend things and pulled zero punches doing it. I can't think of anything more fitting than him just straight up injecting malicious code into Irontomb, no notes 10/10

Cipher/Parameters Distorted/Logic Errors: Cipher was the demigod of Trickery and she used her talents well. She could trick people into seeing a completely different reality, and make their own sense of logic lie to them.

Mydei/Data Wipe/Copy Lost: Mydei was thorough in his eradication of the black tide, he worked endlessly to wipe out as much of it as he could. He was also insistent on doing it alone, even though Krateros and his people would have followed him anywhere.

Castorice/Subprocess Frozen/Unable to Terminate: Due to Polyxia's actions, the River of Souls was dammed, freezing that entire process and leaving people unable to fully cross into the sea of flowers. Castorice herself had the touch of death, but refused to use it, good or bad.

Hyacine/Stack Overflow/Insufficient RAM: Fat fu- Aquila was probably one of the most corrupted titans, due in part to the black tide, but also because of Seliose's hatred after merging with them. You can see it in the scrolls in Okhema and the Skydome after Hyacine usurps the Coreflame. And you see it's effect in 3.4- the corruption stacked and overflowed, until Hyacine couldn't bear it. When Phainon goes to kill her, she's already one foot in the grave. In following cycles, she holds out only until the last human being left on Amphoreus passes away, then loses her sanity and dies.

Dan Heng/Storage Anomaly/Unable to Delete: As the Imbibitor Lunae and a scion of the Permanence, Dan Heng carries the weight of 90+ reincarnations, including a lot of their memories, whether he wants to or not.

March 7th/Time Rollback/Infinite Loop: Even before becoming the demigod of Time, March 7th wanted so so badly to be able to look back in time and into her own past. And because of that loss of memory, she is desperate to infinitely preserve what she has now, to the point of taking selfies with everyone once a day.

Phainon/Merge-Split/Core Damaged: *gestures to 3.4* kind of what it says on the tin. Phainon exists as Phainon, as the Flame Reaver, as Khaslana. He took on so much that it damaged him right down to the core of his very being. The original body exists now only as a battered, broken corpse buried in the Ruins of Time.

you clearly remember fighting Irontomb to death...all the alliances, the geniuses, they— they were all with you right? so why

how did it end so quickly?

you wake up in hopes of finding your crew in all and well...

but why do you hope to see 13 more faces amongst them? Will your wishes be answered?

"shh! be quiet! he can hear us!" "no no no! I can't do this...!"

you heard shrill mumbles coming from your bathroom which you thought can be an intruder... you grabbed your bat and went in to find it

"come on out i know its you" you fold your arms as a smile sneaked up on your lips once the two noisy culprits stood up with Castorice heaving from the effort of holding her breath underwater.

"The golden water gave you two away Cipher and Castorice" you chuckle, feeling fuzzy as you see the two chrysos heirs. "Well someone couldn't hold her breath underwater..." she rolls her eyes as Castorice quickly jumps up to her defence "Not everybody is like Miss Hysilens!"

soon they let you leave to find the other heirs and as you make your way to the parlor car, you see Trinnon and Trianne run in the hallway of the bar.

You chat with Hyacine and Ica who could only doot doot their way in your conversation.

A bright and cheery conversation with Mydei, Aglaea and Cerydra over wine only they drank.

You got over to Trianne and Trinnon where the latter is currently chasing the former with the help of Tribbie. Cute very cute

It's so peaceful...and so warm and happy

In the Passenger Cabin you find Anaxa and Hysilens. With Anaxa who may or may not have taken some very downright blasphemous ideas after looking into the Tin Can's head. After a chit chat, you find Phainon.

You rush over after seeing him. How long it has been since you last saw him. "Long time no see partner!" he greeted you with that sunny smile you came to adore in all those months with him and others as you faced so so many trials and tribulations that it all now feels just like yesterday still lingering at your fingertips.

"Just hearing about Penacony and the Xianzhou Alliance from Dan Heng isn't really enough to make me imagine just how impressive those places sound like!"

"There are many places you can still visit on the cosmos Phainon" you beam excitedly as you tell him about it. "Some village with wheat fields like Aedes Elysiae must exist somewhere then surely?" he smiled but there was a hint of melancholy in his town now having to leave behind his past forever and journey towards the future wiht renewed hope.

"And your pink haired friend is also waiting for you!" he states. "Where is she-" "Oh come on you know she has a way of coming up at the right time"

"He is right my friend"

Ah...there she is, your beloved friend who stayed beside you all this time, all these centuries and cycles.

"Cyrene! what happened? did we win? did Irontomb fall?" you ask frantically your mind racing a thousand miles.

"Well...Irontomb has been defeated but he has not fallen...if we do no contain him then he might rise again but we can think about it later! The Express Car really exceeds my expectations from all those visions and dreams that i saw from you!"

but something feels off...

"So...this is not a dream? You guys are not fake?"

"Hm? Of course we arent't! Although the world that we so desperately fought for is now nothing but a star drifting in the cosmos, it is a seed that will be nurtured to its full growth and Amphoreus will be born anew hehe" she smiles at you, with hope straining her words

"So...you guys will now stay with us? With the Crew?"

"They will journey with us now until they find their own purpose" you hear Himeko's voice as she approaches you with Welt, Dan Heng and March and Pom Pom.

"As the Conductor we have all unanimously decided to let the Heirs stay in the Express for as long they like!" "In this trailblazing journey, we always welcome visitors abroad but they are more than just visitos or passerby to us" Welt fixed his glasses as he sounded Himeko and Pom Pom's claim. March chirped in "Wow! We are catching people from the cosmos like strays now! First it was Sunday then the whole Chrysos Heir group!" Dan Heng said "Well there should be enough room for them"

"What...about you Cyrene? You haven't said anything about staying in the express..."

"Well i still have some unfinished business so... i wish for the cosmos to know about the romantic story that we have penned down for Amphoreus so.." she handed you As I've Written "fill up the blank pages with the epic saga that we foretold" she gave you a wink but you saw how her eyes were threatening to spill the tears

"See you tomorrow then friend! it was a beautiful and romantic journey like no other..." she turned her back

its supposed to be beautiful sure but does it feel so conflicting? so empty? why is this reality like a sweet dream?

yall got no idea 'bout how badly I cried after completing the quest. its beautiful and the fact that amphoreus might form again if we keep on trailblazing in an unknown number of years is quite comforting which means we might get to see them again

The tribbie!yuus referring to the trio of tribios!yuu fragment, I hope this makes sense because I was also confused on how to put this. 😅

Heartslabyul

A highly respective figure, carrying knowledge beyond the years as well as delivering messages and prophecy. Even though possessing three bodies formally thousands the trio of tribbie!yuu shared the same mind and sensation of one another. They are known as tribbie!yuu but can also be called tribios!yuu, even though sharing the same mind–the three bodies share distinct personality and purpose.

Ace and deuce would constantly make fun of tribbie!yuu size, and they would shut up when a staff walked by. Ace, deuce and grim would be taught by tribbie!yuu. Ace and deuce would often be confused by tribbie!yuu multiple bodies but one body– each fragment of tribios!yuu would be closed to one first year, while ace get along with trianne!yuu–deuce would get along with trinnon!yuu despite having one mind, they all have distinct personalities.

Cater would compare the tribbie!yuus to his unique magic, but instead it's a Permanent and tribios!yuu is forever split. Honestly, he enjoys the tribbie!yuus chaos. Cater finds their presence warm and upbeat, he also sees her as a mentor where he could trust as well as a reliable little sister. He finds it sad that her fate is becoming like this, but with tribbie!yuus personality hopefulness for a better tomorrow–cater would start to also hope for a better tomorrow.

Trey would greatly respect tribbie!yuu and would often refer to her in a dignified manner, he would enjoy the tribbies!yuus chaotic nature but sad because it can be a sign that they already used all of their power and might perish so he would often try to prevent situations that might cause it.

Riddle would absolutely respect tribbios!yuu and put them in high esteem but couldn't say the same thing for her fragments. tribbie!yuu, trianne!yuu and trinnon!yuu are chaotic he would often try to hold himself back from lecturing a person he greatly admired and respect. Even though, he despises disobedience–tribios!yuu choosing to disobey because humanity might be in danger is one where he questions his rigidness.

Savanaclaw

Tribbie!yuus position is a weird thing, one is a student, while one is a teacher and another one is a staff or work outside of the school. All three of them share different purposes, honestly it's weird seeing your class mate teaching a class while another one is sitting right beside you paying attention to themselves. Tribbie!yuu as a student while a trianne!yuu as a teacher while trinnon!yuu as a staff member or work outside, yet all of them put on the identity of tribios!yuu.

Jack would respect tribios!yuu and care for the tribbies!yuu, respecting their knowledge and wisdom seeing them as tribios!yuu. He would observe the tribbie!yuus to make sure they don't cause too much chaos, as well as helping them with tasks. He admired their determination and sense of justice, and care for others.

Ruggie would view them as strange and something beyond he's understanding, although he enjoys the pranks that trianne!yuu pulls as well as enjoy their spunkiness. Honestly, he views them as a person who's reliable as well as responsible.

Leona does not appreciate the explosions of the tribbie!yuus cause, it disturbs his slumber as well as hurting his ears. He would not say it out loud, but every time when tribbie!yuu have a command–he would allow it. Imagine him walking around, with tribbie!yuu trianne!yuu and trinnos!yuu on his shoulder telling him what to do and where to go. Honestly, it is such a heartwarming side to him–he would never treat tribbie!yuus as a kid despite their appearance because he knows that they are older than all of them as well as him holding great respect for them and tribios!yuu.

Octavinelle

People may still be confused by all these different body but one mind, in simple terms all of tribbie!yuus fragments share one mind and sensation yet with a distinct personality suited for their duty. The tribbie!yuus is more proficient at completing a task as well as freely travel anywhere at top speed without the worry of being late, imagine being an NRC student getting to class and a rocket just pass you carrying your classmate ace, deuce, and grim with a tribbie!yuu as the pilot–they were just getting to class.

Azul would be impressed on how efficient the tribbie!yuus are, also quite curious about the process of the fragment ritual–honestly he's been eyeing towards her coreflame. Azul would try to bribe the tribbies!yuus with sweets and candy but that always fails, he would have a hard time deceiving her or at some point it's hopeless to deceive tribbie!yuus because they would read the contract and point out the mistakes like a teacher correcting a student grammar.

Jade would respect them and have a cordial relationship, although he enjoys the chaos and is interested in how each fragment of tribios!yuu function like even though they all share the same mind, they all have distinct personalities or habits. Not to mention, tribbie!yuus carries centuries of knowledge and experience which is also another thing that jade is quite curious–imagine the tribbie!yuus using orynox spell to reverse a damage.

Floyd and tribbie!yuus would hang out a lot, it's like an older sister with a younger brother who got influence and become a chaos gremlin. Floyd would love to see the tribbie!yuus experiment and also want to partake in it, the rockets that they launch–imagine Floyd reaction towards them launching multiple rockets towards an overblot Azul, hes instantly entertained.

Scarabia

Tribbie!yuus can act as a guide as well as a mentor towards many people, their prophecy can be considered vague yet accurate. Yet they are mischievous, sometimes pulling pranks on many students and staff despite their highly respective reputation and position. Pulling harmless pranks to see students reactions, unfortunately many staff cannot do anything about it–ps, Crowley is often a victim of it.

Tribbie!yuu would often teach students on the topics they don't understand, and one of those students is kalim. He asks her personally to help him learn math, he under estimates on how strict tribbie!yuu is on their lessons. He would view the tribbie!yuus as a highly respected figure admiring their intelligence and bravery, he would often love to hear stories about the tales of the chrysos heirs on his free time from tribbie!yuu. He enjoys trianne!yuu spunkiness, while also trinnon!yuu intelligence. Them hoping for a better tomorrow, would be such an inspiration.

Jamil would respect tribios!yuus and the sacrifice she commits addressing her with the highest dignity, the same goes towards the tribbie!yuus despite them being fragments it doesn't one is less than another. Honestly, he is quite happy that kalim is preoccupied with tribbies!yuus lesson because he can relax now–as well as not worrying about Kalim's well being.

Pomifiore

It's pretty established that tribbie!yuus functions as a mail main towards NRC, delivering messages as well as giving students a slip of their own future and add some good fortune. Although this delivery can expand towards the entire sage island, because they don't need to worry about missing out the lessons and what happened since they shared the same mind and senses.

Vil would have casual tea times with the tribbie!yuus, he values their guidance as well as tales while tribbie!yuus value his stern and determination. Honestly he reminds them of a certain student of theirs, vil is the only person that can predict their movement as well as a person they can trust with dealing matters behind the scene.

Rook would absolutely be interested in their one mind yet three body, and he also became more obsessed when he learned that there used to be a thousand fragments of them. He loves to hear the tribbie!yuus interaction as well as hearing stories about tribios!yuu and the chrysos heirs, he would sing praises about her tale and what an inspiring hero she is as well as admiring her decision to rebel.

Epel would be caught off guard by the tribbie!yuus size and wondering why is their bunch of kids in a school like NRC, he becomes more confused when they all identify as tribios!yuu and as well as them being thousands of years old.

Ignihyde

Many students and staff would agree that the tribbie!yuus is a genius inventor, the ramshackle is often a victim of their experiments once in a while exploding. They would build devices that might be useful towards combat or day to day life–their craftsmanship can be considered on a divine level, this would serve as proof of the tribbie!yuus talent as well as creativity.

"She's nice" idia would honestly get along with trinnon!yuu more than tribbie!yuu and trianne!yuu. Both of them are shy and also sleepy, and idia would listen closely when trinnon!yuu is discussing prophecy. Idia would honestly relate towards tribios!yuu past of growing up isolated, as well as both of them losing their loved ones to accidents not to mention Respecting their inguinity.

Ortho would get along with the tribbie!yuus, he would usually tag along with the first years when he's not busy dealing with idia. He is quite curious about the technique they use as well as tales from amphoreus, it feels nice to finally have somebody he can talk to as well as understand him–he would compare tribbie!yuus towards a goddess from the island of woes myth.

Disamonia

With each fragment of tribbie!yuus they all share the same mind and sensation, so all of them feel what it's like to be stabbed as well as another fragment death. The first years is constantly worried about them overworking themselves to exhaustion, as the demi god of passage and messenger–they have taught many heroes throughout their lifetime and seeing their students pass away. When they are teleported towards the world of twisted wonderland, they would try their best to protect this peaceful world.

Oh malleus would hold tribbie!yuus with the highest esteem, seeing her as a person of sacrifice and legends. He admired her role as a mentor as well as a friend towards him, he doesn't understand humans but is meeting a person like tribbie!yuus makes him want to bow his head towards the pain and sacrifices she made for her people. He enjoys the presence of the tribbie!yuus it's like having 3 friends, he would not tolerate people disrespecting them and will not let their sacrifice to be thrown away.

Sebek would kneel towards tribbie!yuus, ABSOLUTELY RESPECT AND ADMIRATION FROM HIM. The way she would defy the divine to save people and others–the way she agreed to be split into thousands of fragments. She's a person who followed her duty for thousands of years even when met with disasters she would keep walking forward and hope for a better tomorrow.

Silver would also kneel towards tribbie!yuus or tribios!yuu, as well as admiring the heroism. From a person that defied fate becoming the messenger and goddess of passage, seeing her as a person of high dignity and respect. He would never look down upon them, or as well as doubt their capabilities.

Lilia would call the tribbie!yuus as "lady tribios" or simply "teacher" he would respect them as well as seeing them as a leader, friend and also a mentor. They have seen countless war and battle with the gods for humanity which is something lilia would respect and kneel to, instead of them being a ruler–they choose to be a guide. Lilia and tribbie!yuus would respect each other, and would hold tea parties where they would discuss history and time. "Did you regret it" he asked and tribbie!yuu would respond with a yes saying that she holds no regrets.

IT STARTED WITH THE CAT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

Part 16. Masterlist

When you first met Blue, you remembered feeling surprised. The situation was simply unexpected and very random. Even with all those videos captioned with cat distribution system you’ve seen online, there was never been one about a cat inside a box left outside the door like some kind of package delivered when you were out.

Actually, when you think about it, it was actually like love at first sight and thus adopting him just happened—an intrusive thought turned impulsive. Not that it was a bad thing but rather a blessing in a box and even now, you never regretted it—okay maybe you did whenever you woke up in the middle of the night and the first thing you see is a wide, glowing blue eyes staring right at you or whenever he puts his ass on your face just because he feels like it in the gist of waking you up—you know its intentional, no mater how he looks innocent afterwards.

But honestly, the house never felt lively as it is now. First was with Blue, and next came Princess, and until last night you had somehow bagged (adopted?) yet again another new addition to your smol family which you doubt that this adopting-random-animals streak will end by just having a ferret and honestly, it’s lowkey giving you Pokémon vibes.

Gotta catch them all? What all? Which all? Anything but endangered species or dangerous type you hope. It’s enough that they can understand human speech—people can’t tell you otherwise because you know your pets better than them. Was it just a delusion or mere coincidence? But the fact that they can understand your words and commands means they are highly intelligent and special babies.

Not that a ferret is any of those—endangered or dangerous you mean. But still, finding a ferret on some alley is not normal.

Base on your almost non-existent knowledge about them, they do not belong to the streets for sure. So you quickly thought of it having an owner somewhere. But you quickly shut the idea down.

One, the ferret looks a bit dirty so it must have been on the streets for a while now. Two, if it was staying on the streets for a while, there got to be a post or anything related to a missing ferret this past few days.

Did you see one? No.

So was it safe to say it was just a wild one? Maybe similar to Blue who makes you doubt if he somehow just poofed in existence? (No, we don’t talk about the few days worth of anxiety to the possibility of someone losing a Ragdoll and said Ragdoll was at your doorstep that you adopted later on out of impulse who will then received a lawsuit because of catnapping.)

But then again, you can’t say no to those three little hamsters of yours. You don’t understand why but they seemed to like their new friend very much.

Your pocket may cry but yeah—let it cry, it’s therapeutic.

At the kitchen, you watched the trio stayed close to the ferret, burrowing their small munchkin-like body to its long dark colored coat. While Blue and Princess stayed few steps away, you can easily see Princess’ tail happily wagging and Blue’s palpable purrs and happy meows.

When you think about it, they seemed to get along together rather easily—not that you’re complaining. You read somewhere about how territorial house pets could be to newcomers—which was something you were worried when the hamsters arrived. Rather, Blue was really accepting and friendly for a cat who were known to be territorial to their owners, place and such.

On the contrary, they seemed to be like old, reunited friends. Especially Blue, he seems excited—too excited with each addition as if they all knew each other already. Even Princess who acts like a Chihuahua on a daily basis when feeling awkward and shy is happy—the tail doesn’t lie when it wags like a max speed turbo fan.

So you can’t really get yourself to think of separating them. You’re not that evil to break their hearts then they show bond that deep. You can only sign and make a mental note on how to take care of a ferret.

After you finished plating their foods, you approached the group of six who are in their own little world and somehow having a decent conversation.

You approach Blue who sat the nearest among them and greeted him. “Hey there Blue. I see you happy hmm? What got my handsome Blue so happy?”

You crouched down as you placed his bowl of food, scratching his chin as you pepper him with baby talk. He gave you a smile—as wide as a cat could—and meowed, pawing your wrist while rubbing his head to your hand.

“And so does this pretty Princess. Happy aren’t you?” You pointed out to Princess who sat there as if he wasn’t wagging his tail earlier.

He barked and bit your hand playfully when you reached out to boop his nose before sitting elegantly whilst acting unaffected to your teasing words and constant boops. You just laughed before giving him his own bowl.

“Hey there Midnight,” You called to the ferret who watched your interaction with Blue and Princess silently. “I hope you like it here? The girls didn’t annoy you too much? I don’t know why but they’re super excited to play with you.”

Hearing you mention their names, the trio stood up as if protesting and scampered towards your hands. “Hehe so energetic for some hamsters who sneaked out hmm? You’re lucky you three are cute or else you’re few days grounded on your pen.”

Hearing that, they simultaneously looked at you with their large beady black eyes with exaggerated bulging cheeks. “Really girls? Puppy eyes?”

Seeing them intensely looking at you, you huffed and took few cut vegetables for them to choose. “Of course I would be defeated. When did I win against any of you five when either of you acted cute.” You mumbled before pointing at Blue who meowed as if agreeing to your words.

“Especially you Blue. Stop acting cute after doing something bad.“

You rolled your eyes before looking at Midnight and cautiously placed your hands near them.

Midnight is one anxious and jumpy ferret, you noticed. You remembered last night how it just suddenly froze when you picked it up gently into your arms. Even the trio looked at you in panic when you touch them as if somethings was about to happen.

But no, nothing happened. Aside from the sudden wide happy jumps from the trio, maybe?

Still, the ferret tried to wiggle out in panic—you can see it in its eyes that it was scared for some unknown reason—until its body just turns into like that of a limp noodle after seconds of struggling against your constant pets, gliding your hand gently on it body while saying calming words while walking back home.

“I don’t know what happened to you baby but everything’s going to be fine. I’m going to take care of you okay? Trust me, you’re going to be safe.” You remembered saying, comforting the anxious animal as you could.

Still, you hope it was enough.

You watched as Midnight cautiously sniffed your hand before slowly wrapping their body onto your hand. You can’t help but smile encouragingly, petting their head as they nested comfortably in your hand. “Baby steps Midnight. Aren’t you so brave, baby? I’m so proud of you.”

You gently gave them their own food you prepared while they remained docile in your hand. You hope they don’t mind getting a bath after this. As much as you want to pepper them in affection and let them play with the others, you can still see grime clinging on their coat.

You don’t want to risk dirtying the sheets or anywhere you planned to let them sleep. And maybe then you would know whether they are a she or he.
