The JL finds out Captain Marvel’s identity and go the bad ending route of watching over his city for him, not letting him transform or help out.
Cap’s villains DEFINITELY notice. I’m talking Stanley Printwhistle(Ibac) pulling Billy aside and asking if hes been kidnapped or being held at figurative gunpoint to not transform. Billy has to explain what happened and Stan looks just about ready to say his magic word.
Sivana breaks into his apartment and demands an explanation as to what the hell is going on in their city. They have a pleasant and similar conversation before the League member who was tailing Billy for the night quickly gets in to fight the attacker. Said Leaguer is very surprised to find Billy conversing with his arch nemesis and finding it rude that THEY came in without his permission. Both Billy and Sivana decide to NOT tell them about the other times this has happened. They won’t get the nuance of the latter breaking in to try and fail to.. ya know…*cutting motion across neck*.
Adam is his own warning. He’s both very confused and very amused. Though he does find it annoying that the kid won’t fight back.
Chain Lightning is exasperated and tells Billy as much when she also breaks into his apartment one night. She’s very adamant that she can beat up every member of the JL to protest the obvious ageism going around. Billy politely declines.
The problem now is that the JL have caught on to the fact that all of Captain Marvel’s villains know who he is. It’s both very alarming and very not fair(because how come he’s cool with THEM knowing??)
Billy would just very much like for things to get back to normal. Please.
