??? people out here thinking we love Tony only bec he's a billionaire??? LMAO
That one scene in Endgame:
Tony: You can say 'please' and 'thank you' to your toddler all day, and they will never repeat it. But you say Shit ONCE and they're chanting it all day long to everyone they see.
I’m working on something big guys! Stay tuned!
Tony: I hate being a parent. You take away the metal fork when theyre jamming it into the outlet and suddenly youre the worst person to exist and they say they’re going to send you to the janky retirement home when youre old and wrinkly
Scott: jesus, how old are they?
Tony: like five? Morgan’s at that age, man
*Tony before Morgan*
Son of a bitch
God damn it
What the hell
*Tony after Morgan*
Son of a unicorn
God bless it
What the heaven
Tony, pepper and morgan going to an antique shopping and morgan finds an old but beautiful doll
I almost deleted the story akdbjwwj
-
It was Pepper’s idea of it all, her mother had adored creepy glass dolls and decided to go out to some antique shop she saw on the way into town, despite moving out into the country with all new land and shops and scenery, they had never really left from their spot.
He had been worried about what Morgan would think, she was young, despite inheriting both his and her mothers strong heads she was still young and could still be spooked for life by something.
In this case he wouldn’t have blamed her.
Much to his chagrin, and Pepper amusement.
She loved it
“I blame your mother for this”
Pepper grinned, staring down at Morgan who carcasses the shiny, creepy dolls face.
“I know”
“Do you want the doll Morgan?” Pepper asked leaning down to her daughters height, said little girl giggled before nodding, pulling at the loose curls from the doll.
“Please god no” Tony groaned grunting at the kick in his leg from Pepper.
“Yes mommy” and fuck it was that tone where her voice got all soft and happy and genuine and it was one of Tony’s weaknesses.
“Aw tony, you’re not gonna deny this little face are you?” Pepper asked, squishing Morgan’s painfully familiar chubby cheeks eliciting the sound of giggles, in the background he could see the owner, an old African American lady grin and shake her head.
“No” his chest fell and rose with his sigh. “I won’t.”
Morgan cheered and Pepper laughed.
“I blame you mother”
A kiss on the cheek, “I know.”
Soooo it's basically cannon that the following would happen
.........
"MORGAN!" Pepper yells from downstairs.
"Coming mom!"
She races downstairs with her backpack ready to go for school.
Pepper hands her a present, heavier than expected. "Happy birthday sweety, wanna have a special dinner when I get home from work?"
Morgan nods her head happily. Finally 13. So much has been accomplished and so much yet to accomplish.
After school Morgan runs back home with more presents from her friends, looks at the present mom gave her earlier. She takes a deep breath and looks at the signature on it.
To Morguna
From dad (Love you 3,000)
She decides not to open it. Not until later anyway.
"Hey honey! How are you feeling?" Mom yells as she walks in the house.
"I'm great!"
~a few hours later~
"Ready to go to dinner?" Mom asks.
"Yeah." Morgan replies.
"Oh Harley and Peter are gonna be there as well. They wanted to say hi and stay the night."
She smiles. She hasn't seen either of them in a couple months for they both now had families.
After the dinner Morgan is holding a couple other presents from Harley and Peter, small but meaningful gifts.
They get back to the house and mom gets ready for bed and passes out right away, as per usual.
Morgan sits on her bed reading a book and then looks up at the box. She gets up and brings it over to her bed. She slowly opens it.
No... She thought. A tear falls down her cheek as her memory vaguely shoots to a day a while back just before dad had died.
She had come out of her little tent to see dad whole wearing mom's Iron Man helmet....
Tell Fri to set it up. She always knows what to do.
She never thought it would be a present to her 8 years in the future.
Morgan had taken it out and found a letter inside.
For Morgan H. Stark,
Tell Fri to set everything up.
Love, dad
"Hey Fri?" Morgan says.
Next thing a hologram of dad appears.
"Morguna. My daughter. Never thought that would be something I would say. Now this is incase.... Incase something happens to me. This is for you. Mom knows to give it to you on your 13th birthday. But man, if you told me 15 years ago I would have a daughter... I would laugh. I remember when I first held you."
Morgan watches. Looking closely at his movements. Getting a good look at her father. Until she was about 8 she thought for sure he would come back. Now it's almost like he did.
"I... This is amazing and horrifying. Listen I have so many stories I'm gonna set up in here for you. I I hope you enjoy them."
Morgan starts sobbing. It's impossible to stop. The tears can't stop falling.
A knock on her door can be heard.
"C-come in." She says trying to wipe the tears away in time.
She looks up and sees Harley and Peter with her red puffy eyes.
They walk over and sit next to her on the bed.
No words said, just comfort.
"Tell the others I say hi." Dad says through the recording. "It's amazing. Oooh did I tell you about how I met Harley?" He goes on to tell that story. Along with some about Peter, Steve, Bucky, Rhodey, Happy, and many many more.
"Well," the recording says at the end. "Morguna, I truly love you. And I love you 3,000."
"wow." Is the only thing Morgan says through tears. A mix of happy and sad.
"he was the best." Peter says.
Morgan sits there, crying with Peter and Harley comforting her.
It had finally come to terms with her. He's gone. And he's never coming back.
Peter starts telling some stories as well as Harley, cheering Morgan up and showing her what an amazing life he had.
Morgan, Peter, and Harley all eventually fall asleep on her bed. Just laying there. Talking about their favorite memories with the man who changed their life.
It's amazing how much a death can impact people. And it's amazing how much time it takes to comprehend.
