BROO I AM JOINING U ON UR LONELY, OVERLOOKED SHIP PLS DO AN ISOKARU SHIP BREAKDOWN OMG
AW BLESS THANK U FAVE XOXO
Well, despite them both being in the same school, I doubt that either of them were really the type to scout out people from other classes. Therefore, the first time they met was when Karma joined Class E. It’s actually canon that Karma’s not used to Isogai’s kindness, apparently, and so I imagine he wouldn’t know what to think at first. Obviously, Isogai – being Isogai – would accept Karma immediately, even if he was a little scared.
Who developed romantic feelings first?
Isogai. He wouldn’t notice at first, and neither would Karma, but it would be in the little things; spending more time speaking to Karma, talking to him outside of school, showing an interest in Karma’s dorky hobbies, and offering advice when Karma would struggle.
Who is their biggest “shipper?”
Maehara. If there would ever be conflict with his plans with Isogai and Karma’s plans with Isogai, he’d immediately cancel his own so that the other two could be together. He was with Isogai enough, and he would want his best friend to find someone to be happy with.
When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances?
It’d be a little, short kiss after middle school graduation, and they’d both be blushing like mad. Neither would be quite sure what they were doing, but it would just feel perfect, like it’d been a long time coming.
Who confessed their feelings first?
It’d be after the kiss, and it’d be Isogai. He’d feel wrong leaving Karma without a proper explanation of his feelings, and he’d just hope that Karma could tell what he was saying through his non-ikemen-like stutters.
What was their first official date?
Just a little trip to a cute cafe. They’d talk about random things, and Isogai would giggle and Karma would blush because oh man, he’s really cute when he laughs. In a moment of silence, Isogai wouldn’t know what to do, and would get flustered, then end up telling Karma to call him by his first name.
How do they feel about double dates/group dates?
They’d be fine with them! Karma’s not exactly a people person, but Isogai’s ikemen-ness would totally compensate for that, and so Karma wouldn’t have to talk too much. They’d most likely go with Maehara and his Lady of the Week – as if they’d last that long – and Karma would open his mouth mainly only to put Maehara into awkward situations, much to Isogai’s disapproval.
What do they do in their down time?
They’d go out looking around town, or just stay inside watching TV. Neither of them would be too fussed about it; they’d just like spending time together.
What was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like?
Isogai’s entire family would be super excited to meet Karma, and they’d all crowd him, asking a million questions a minute. They’d take a liking to Karma, despite him being a little odd, and Isogai’s mother would be practically swelling with pride for her son. With Karma’s parents, things would be a little calmer, but they’d both love Isogai like one of their own – they would definitely be looking forward to getting a son-in-law, especially since they could see how much Isogai toned down Karma’s wild behaviour, which they themselves weren’t so good at.
What was their first fight over and how did they get past it?
Isogai was working himself too hard – he’d taken on another job, tried to act like a parent to his siblings, tried to look after his mother – and he was stubborn when Karma told him to stop. With Isogai not listening to him, Karma got angry and an argument ensued. It was worth it though, because Isogai came round and they both apologised to each other quickly.
Which one is more easily made jealous?
Karma is. He’s usually not possessive over people, but when Isogai’s out for hours on end with other people, or he’s being stared at by strangers on the streets, Karma finds himself getting a liiiiittle antsy, which you could probably interpret as ‘jealous’.
What is their favourite thing to get to eat?
Hm, anything. Isogai always loves his bargain hunting, but Karma downright refuses to let him eat anything “cheapskate” while he’s at Karma’s house. Karma would get out some fancy food and some spices from his collection, but they’d cook together. Their favourite thing to eat is anything they’ve worked together on, no matter how good it actually tastes.
Who’s the cuddly one? What’s their favourite cuddling position?
Isogai, definitely. He’s a skilled cuddler after years of experience gained from comforting his siblings. Karma would be unfamiliar with this ‘cuddling’ thing, but he’d soon surrender to Isogai’s softness.
100%. They’ve got the whole interlocking fingers thing down, and they both feel like their hands were made to fit each other’s, although Karma would never admit it. They first hold hands while out on a date, and it just became customary for them to do it after that.
How long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time? What’s the circumstances?
Not so long, but not so quick that they feel as though they’ve rushed things. They wait until they know each other well, then until they know that they truly, honestly love each other. It’s nothing really wild, but it’s passionate, and it’s something they both enjoy immensely.
Karma. I really can’t imagine it the other way round.
What’s the worst fight they’ve ever gotten into?
Well, like in many relationships, money is the trigger. They’ve never really been too bothered about it before, although it’s been a niggle in the back of Isogai’s mind since childhood, and it really becomes hard to ignore when he’s with someone who seems so breezy as Karma. Unlike Isogai, Karma’s never really had any money troubles, so he can’t imagine why Isogai gets so stressed about it. After a while, the stress just builds up and Isogai’s emotions flow over. They solve it after a night of yelling then silence, and it never really became such a prominent problem afterwards, but they both definitely learnt things from it, though it wasn’t a good night for either of them.
Who does the shopping and the cooking?
Isogai does the shopping; he’s so good at seeking out the best products after years of doing the same for his family. They both do the cooking, although Karma usually does most of it, since it’s sort of like a de-stressing technique for him, as well as giving Isogai a chance to get a break.
Which one is more organized and prone to tidiness?
That would have to be Isogai. He likes things being in little storage containers and having symmetrical ornaments. Neither of them are a fan of mess, but Karma is less bothered about it than Isogai.
Isogai does. He sticks on an ikemen smile to cover up his nervousness. Although there’s little doubt that Karma will accept, who wouldn’t be at least a little afraid in that moment?
Do they have joined Bachelor/Bacheloette parties or separate?
Most likely separate. Karma would go around with Nagisa, along with maybe a few others like Nakamura or Kayano, and Isogai would go with Maehara. As well as the couple get on with each other’s friends, they have different interests, so it’s just easier to spend that time with friends that they’re closer to.
Who is the best man/maid of honour? Any other groomsmen or bridesmaids?
Nagisa and Maehara are the best men. Not only are they the best friends of the couple, but they’re the best at calming nerves, so they’re completely ready for the job.
Kind of in the middle. They invite all of their – read: Isogai’s – friends, but it’s nothing really over-the-top; just the ones they want to be with them on their most special day.
Do they have a honeymoon? If so, where?
They do, but it’s just a short time to relax. They go to a nice, friendly hotel and relax with romantic dinners and sunbathe by the pool. In simple terms, it’s bliss.
Do they have children? How many?
They adopt a few children, but Karma would not be able to take more than two – three at a real stretch – no matter how much Isogai protests. They’re both very happy with their children and spend as much time with them as possible, although they can’t deny that it’s much more peaceful when they’re away from all the high-pitched squeals and they’re just alone together. All in all, it’s a lovely little ‘Happily Ever After’.
