staring into his eyes, a stupid grin on your face and smiling as the feeling of opia surged throughout you. just how much of a fool did you become around him?
as you held your hands together, eyes twinkling through the moonlight there was a moment of clarity that reached you. smiling once more at the sudden epiphany, this was where you belonged. you were finally home.
overwhelmed by emotions, you couldn’t speak. and yet you one you didn’t need to, the soft look in his eyes told you that. and whether or not you were to have turned around, even the blind would have been able to see the smile he gave you.
so this was love, was it? leaning your head back, silently rejoicing at the knowledge of reciprocating, comforted by even just the look he gave you, this was love? you couldn’t look at him now, turning around as heart surrounded your cheeks. but once again, you didn’t need to. he would always understand.
the unimportant was forgetten here. former stress, the building up of things you couldn’t control, focusing on how slow reality moved, knowing time for things was running out. it didn’t matter here, it didn’t exist. how could you focus on something that could cause you a frown when the light of your life was right in front of you.
he let out a small laugh from besides you. his shoulders slightly shaking as the sounds of delight exit his mouth. your favourite sound, leaving the mouth of the person you’ve always desired.
you’re not sure what he’s laughing at. you build up the strength to look at him, meeting those oh-so-entrancing eyes of his as he counties to lightly chuckle.
‘ my my, who knew such a night could be enjoyed in silence. “ he says. you nod at him, failing to trust yourself with words. you could swear that the light in his eyes were stars, and still doubt the unbelievable fact that they weren’t even when proved wrong.
you laid your head onto his shoulder. he let it rest there tracing words and shapes onto your hand as you continued to lie there. so this was love.
First of all thank you so much for the support everyone gave me. I didn't have the time to check daily but I'm suprised that the recent post blew up :).

Zhongli
The man has been busy for the past months due to people increasing coming over the parlor. Of course you were worried for your dearest.
You tried getting his attention just for him to take a rest seeing his situation gotten worst.
"WOULD YOU STOP ANNOYING ME?! I'M BUSY CANT YOU SEE?!" he shouted.
"Please, dear just take a res-" you tried telling him
"I TOLD YOU TO STOP BEING ANNOYING! I'M BUSY OK?!" he left the house with a thud and never came back since dinner.
You were worried for his health so you brought the meal towards the parlor but as caught on seen.
"Didn't expect Zhongli's lover would be here. Must be my lucky day to kill you right here right now" you didn't have the chance to call out for help due to the napkin covered.
And there your life ended...
A traveler soon noticed your bloodied body and brought you towards a healer.
The news spreaded that someone was killed again. Of course zhongli heard it from the parlor.
As soon as he went inside the office. Childe went to his office and tell something.
"Mr. Zhongli? Can I have your time for a moment?" he asked as he sat down.
"Go ahead, I have some time" he stated placing a tea.
"About (name)... -" he stated. "What about them? Don't tell me they told you to tell me they need attention?" he raged.
"No... It's.. About the murder last night.. (name) was the victim..."
The room went silent. Zhongli processing the words Childe left out. Impossible. You were at home right?.. You were??
Childe placed a food box. "They were probably trying to give this to you last night. Seeing your situation.. they’re worried..."
All because of his messy schedule, the lover he swore to be with til the end left..
He gulped.
"W-where are they..now?" he asked. Desperate enough to think you're still alive
“They’re..they’re not with us anymore..”
The home he will expect to go that was filled with love and care from you will be now dark and gray....
He took the chance to take in charge with your funeral. A way to see you one last time. Give the attention you deserve after the neglections..
Kaeya
The captain has been busy for the past months due to the workloads increasing. You are worried for his health so you took the chance to ask the knights about his health.
“Kaeya, dear, please take atleast a short nap. Your body is starting to get fatigued,” you tried catching his attention.
Kaeya having problems now with his system he misunderstood you as if you want his attention and leave his work behind.
Are you really desperate for his attention that you want him to stop from his work? Oh he didn’t accept it. He slapped your face.
They were also worried for the captain seeing he started to overwork and rarely goes out in his office.
“Can’t you see I’m working hard for both of us and the city? DO YOU WANT US TO BE ATTACKED BECAUSE OF THIS ATTENTION YOU WANTED FOR WEEKS??!”
“Kaey-” he slapped you again.
“STOP. IF YOU WANT ATTENTION GO LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE” he shouted. He walked out and went towards the HQ planning to sleep there.
You thought he was stressed and just want some fresh air so you placed the meal inside the fridge and planned to end the day tonight.
You didn’t know that the treasure hoarders are attacking houses outside the city knowing knights rarely checks outside.
Your shared home was outside the city.
The house was big enough to fit some people and there you were ambushed.
People started to report and attack and called the knights for help. Seeing a fire is starting to grow and knowing it was the house the captain lives in called him.
Kaeya hearing the news ran as fast as he could thinking of your safety.
Seeing the people trying to stop the fire, he started looking for your figure...You’re probably far removing the smoke from your lungs.
“HEY I FOUND SOMEONE INSIDE? THEY’RE DYING CALL A HEALER!!” he heard someone shouted. He ran back towards the person and there he saw you bruised and burnt.
Weak and fragile....hand prints from the slapped and the ambushed..
“name..?” he called out.
“Hey it’s me..wake up now..you’re out from the fire..” his breath hitched. You aren’t responding. People started to look a nearby healer just to save you. A commoner who saved and helped people is dying. And everyone tried to save you.

-Will be the stubborn type and try to prove that Hes not drunk, but he'll try to stand up and end up wobbling back into his seat.
-The next day when He's hangover and it's really bad, instead of taking some medicine he will ask you out to grab food with him so he can sneak in some fruity skewers to make him feel better,
-(also, an excuse to go on a date with you <3)
-If you guys aren't dating yet Kaeya and Venti would whisper the filthiest shit to you, but later on when your alone and they aren't drunk anymore They'll say something like "wait we did that?"
-If anybody tries to hit him up while you're there he will call you up onto his lap and start kissing you. He will get full on into it and give the finger to the simp. If they are still there after y'all make-out. He will stand up, and say "shoo fly, don't bother my partner."
-I feel like he's very protective when Hes drunk. he wants everyone to know that you're his and his alone.
-Whenever he gets a bit TOO drunk (to the point where he starts typing to eat you out 0-0) you and Diluc have deal that once Hes had a few too many of his "Death After Noon's" He will swap the drink with grape juice, causing Kaeya to want to stop drinking for a little bit and go home.
-If it was a big night out you both will loiter to the bathroom and have a shower (Or even a bath) together -3- (Not sexual unless you want it to be.)
-Will spread out on the bed sheets and eventually fall asleep, and once he does, he will start spooning you.
-But be warned, once Hes got you in his arms, you're not leaving them.
"I'm not drunk baby, that's not who I am *hic*... Okay maybe I'm a little..."

the favonious library is dead at this time of night. everyone is already at the tavern or in bed, and lisa is no doubt lingering around master jean’s office, so you have the space completely to yourself. it’s the perfect time to go ahead and get some research done.
you’re in the middle of searching for a certain encyclopedia when you heard the library door creak open. it’s much too early for lisa to be back. not knowing anyone else, besides noelle, who would rather spend their time here in the library you perk your ears.
the footsteps are heavy, but elegant and steady.
“my, my…” kaeya grins as he turns the corner, his pretty smile making your stomach turn a little. he reaches out as he reaches your table and places both hands on the wooden surface. “you’re up awfully late aren’t you?”
“just doing some studying for master jean.” you stare up at him, marvel probably clear on your face, and smile. “what are you doing up so late, captain kaeya?”
you watch the way the corner of his mouth twists slightly as if he’s trying to debate on whether or not he wants to be honest with you. “i uhm, couldn’t sleep. wyratt told me you were in here, so i came to visit...” kaeya’s voice trails off as his one visible eye looks over your facial features, traveling down until he finally spots your lips.
kaeya reaches out and swipes a gloved thumb across your bottom lip, picking up product on the velvet material, “is that lipstick?” he gives you a cheesy grin.
fuck
you suck in a deep breath and maintain eye contact with the man in front of you. you force a smile onto your face “strawberry flavored.” you say proudly, “wanna try it?”
kaeya’s face burns a deep red from the tip of his nose all the way back to the cuffs of his ears. his tongue darts out quickly, wetting his bottom lip, before he briskly nods.

- where you're a travelling performer from Fontaine's Troupe invited to the banquet held after the Performance. Lights adorned the main plaza of Mondstat, the statue of their Archon guiding over its people as the festivity kept on. As a performer of the troupe, my duties had been done - and thanks to a mishap on my part, I ended up with a sore ankle. Without any choice to dance, no matter how badly I loved to, I was forced to sit down by the table and watch the people of Mondstat jive with the music. Sighing helplessly, a handsome man made his way to occupy the seat next to me. He mirrored the way I sat, facing the people enjoying the festivity. "You seem quite lonely. Do you wish to dance?" He asked, his voice rich and sultry which resonated well into my ears. It was so good that I just had to turn and to look at the owner of the voice. Dark blue hair tied into a low ponytail, quite messy and tousled as if it went through battle; striking blue eyes that seemed to hold stars in them, a mesmerizing glow shines in them that makes it impossible to look away; and his body well built, muscles defined even through his uniform which made him look extra dashing with his overall appearance.
This man was indeed attractive. "I see you've been eyeing me out. Have I got your interest, fair maiden?" He cooed, resting an elbow to the table, his hand cupping one side of his cheek - giving me a better access to his front view. I could feel the blood rush up to my cheeks, yet tried to keep my composure as I honestly replied, "Yes. Such a beautiful man comes up, asks for my wellbeing, and you ask if you've caught my interest?" I smiled cheekily, earning a hearty laugh from the man. "You're quite amusing. I'm Kaeya, Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius." He spoke, then took my hand in his while he maintained eye contact. "Oh (Y/N) Travelling Performer of Fontaine's Troupe." I introduced myself, gladly satisfying the Cavalry Captain. His thumb rubbed against the back of my hand, before leaving a kiss - letting the feel of his lips to linger for a while longer. "Such a beautiful name. Say, (Y/N) would you like to dance with me?" "Tempting, but I'm afraid I have a sore ankle." I was almost losing hope, yet Kaeya stood up and set his hands on my ankle - a cooling feeling relieved my sore muscles. He looked proud of what he had done, as he offered a hand, "Well, my fair maiden, care to dance with me now? I promise to take good care of you." Without a second thought, I gladly took his hand and enjoyed the night, dancing with the

Part ONE of the "The Bright Side Of a Hill" series.
This is MY work, yes.
There's NSFW content on the late story. You know what to do.
The wind whipped around the Thousand Winds temple. The machinery could be heard as the echoes of the ruin guard's steady walk in circles made an ominous noise.
The wind whipped around the shore at Guyun Stone Forest as the Crux crossed the Rocky environment. The Captain chugged on her bottle, smirking when the crew looked at the sky then at her with some fear in their eyes.
"Prepare yourselves. This is going to be a huge one."
They scrambled with ropes synchronized their steps with the anchor as she patted Little Yue's head and tucked him to bed. He seemed uneasy, but Beidou's confidence soon made his lashes bat a little slower as thunder roared outside and the ship rocked harder than it usually did.
"What is that green thing on the sky, Beidou?" He asked.
"It's nothing but a good ol' storm, little guy. Go get some rest and let us handle the tough business. There's nothing this sea has got that we can't sail through." She closed the door, taking her place as the boat rocked harder. She looked at Xiangling and nodded her head to keep him company. She nodded with determination, but her face was contorted in anguish while she closed the door behind her where the staff that didn't sail was taking shelter.
"Let's move forward!" She roared over the pouring rain that suddenly started to prickle her skin and fog the vision, but the crew kept making preparations and Beidou took the helm, holding it steadily as the ship rocked, came to a halt and lunged forward as she ordered. The crew ran here and there, helping guests and merchants alike as sweat formed on Beidou's brow and washed away with the torrential downpour.
They sailed for a few minutes with no signs of stopping. Beidou smirked as the storm seemed to fade away little by little from view. When she gave a relieved sigh, however, the ship shook to the point where she could see it sinking to the ocean bed. She shook the thought and huffed, gripping the wheel again.
"Fuck, bring it on!" She growled.
The spiral in the sky was definitely from Mondstadt, the wind gusts were whipping around Liyue like crazy and her heart leaped as she feared for the people in the Inn, the Harbor and for her crew, but she kept a strong grip on the helm as a wave bigger than the ship threatened to hit. Her eyes shone a dangerous glint as she roared again.
"Brace for impact!"
The crew ran and held onto the nearest ropes and masts around them, holding their breaths and closing their eyes. Beidou spun the helm around wildly and winced as the weight of the piece caught up to her and the wood seemed to nearly break. The ship creaked with the effort the wild maneuver put on the structure.
The wave seemed to grumble when it hit.
Beidou gasped and closed her eyes, feeling her grasp on the wheel hardening out of instinct as her hands all but moved on their own accord through the pain the water caused when it hit her and the cuts appearing on her hands. She heard the scream of her crew when her head slammed against the wood. Her eye patch fell off. The sound stilled, the rain seemed to be far behind. She coughed and water came out.
"Cap! Cap! Are you alright?"
"Captain!" "Beidou!"
She sighed, tying her eye patch back and looking at them, her nose bleeding.
"I'm as good as new. Are you guys alright?!" The crew roared as she lifted her scraped hands. Xiangling cried in relief, the waves calmer than ever far away from land.
Little Yue ran from the inside of the boat, crying hard and held onto her dress, everyone cheered.
She felt the last remnants of a gentle rain clean the blood on her face, but her mind was still clouded.
