So I started working on Kaladrax. (SHE BIG)

And I fracked up the base. I wanted to make it look like she’s perched on sandstone ruins. My theme is that she is a blue dracolich living in the desert. It looks like gorram dayglow rocks. I hate it! So I’ve been uninspired to finish but here is her skull so far.

#kaladrax base is finished, it barely fits in the lightbox, I don't think the dragon will fit 😂 I was closer to finish than I realized. I wanted it to be very overgrown and jungly, though now my desk is covered in static grass. #opinionneeded so I'm testing out some ideas for #kaladrax some I want him to be glowing from the inside. I'm thinking if I don't do a more typical glow (like teal) I was going to do one of these two. Left is dark purple up to green, on the model there will be a bit more of a gradient, but this is just a proof of concept. Right is glowing with inner darkness, his magic is the absence of light and short of vanta black that is kinda hard to do, so deep night sky. So which side is better suited for a giant undead skeleton dragon? #paintingdesk #painting

I got my #christmaspresents from Ben early, he got me #kaladrax the really HUGE #skeleton #dragon #miniature I've wanted for a while. A normal sized mini for scale 😆 it was on sale for black Friday, so he got it for me. I will probably start removing flashing and wash it, but it won't be painted until after my current challenge. Waiting is going to be very hard!!!
