The mornings are getting crisper. The sun sets sooner. Kids are starting the new school year. I just finished a book on Happiness that touched on our society shifting over the years from a mindset of wanting to have 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 to wanting to have 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 and how this lack of being content is affecting our happiness. Summer 2020 showed me how much truth there is in that! We traveled locally. Enjoyed beaches. Painted rocks. Hiked. Played in the pool. Met with friends. Grew our own food. Soaked in day after day of sun. The kids loved camp - we adults did too as we got some quiet time at home 😄 It was 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 ♥️ Sure, it wasn’t all peachy. Covid. Sick family member‘s. No international travel to see them. Social distancing. Too much work. Weight gain. It‘s all about mindset though. I choose to focus on the positives and strive for being content with what we have which is a lot! There‘s one thing that I still want 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 of though... summer itself ☀️ 😎 How have you overcome challenges this summer? #ketoanywhere #questsummer2020 #QuestSquad #OnAQuest #ad @questnutrition #behappy #unhurry #unhurriedadventures #summer2020 #illinois #ketoinchicago #ketochicagoland #chicagoland #chicagoketo #happinessequation #ketolife #ketolifestyle #enough #beach #growyourownfood 📚 For the fellow bookworms, I read „the Happiness Equation“ by Neil Pasricha. I gave it 5 ⭐️ on Goodreads 🏖 More of the rocks and what I do to unhurry @unhurriedadventures (at Chicago metropolitan area) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEJxnzqAG9T/?igshid=6za627h1592u
