Hancock and Fahrenheit

I am sure the horse has been beat to death but I want my turn with the bat.

I am personally a fan of the headcanon that Fahrenheit is Hancock's daughter. I like the idea of her being an accident baby from his youth well enough but I much prefer the idea that Fahrenheit was an orphan/abandoned/runaway teen that wound up in Goodneighbor, trying to make it by.

Caught Hancock's eye not only for being a kid in Goodneighbor but smart as a whip, and very observant while often being overlooked for her age. I like to think she fought beside him in the coup against Vic, and that he even trained her personally. Though she already had some shoddy knowledge from growing up in the wasteland.

Then when the dust settled, he told her she had earned her place as his second hand if she wanted it. Both because he had developed a fondness for the kid and this way he could keep an eye on her, but also because she truly showed her potential: quick learner, intelligent, observant, and on the right side of history.

However all this is disrupted with the retcon of making Fahrenheit Hancock's 'main squeeze'. So let's theorize there.

The idea that Fahrenheit just looks young for her age, and she and Hancock are partners of some kind is interesting to me. I'm always a fan of platonic life partners as a headcanon, two best friends living together and loving each other enough to want to spend their lives together.

However I could also see them being polyamorous or in an 'open relationship' where both are permitted to (safely, or as safely as you can in the wasteland) sleep with other people so long as they come home to each other.

But, as partial as I am to polyamorous ships/headcanons, I also am partial to the headcanon that Fahrenheit is a nonbinary lesbian. She could be bisexual with a heavy preference for women of course, but all her ships with women just hit different to me.

Fahrenheit x Glory. Fahrenheit x Kleo. Fahrenheit x Cait. Fahrenheit x Glory x Cait. Fahrenheit x Piper. Fahrenheit x Piper x Cait. Fahrenheit x Curie (my beloved). In my eyes all superior to the Fahrenheit x Hancock ship.
