Summary: "I’ve known for a while." You stretched lazily, tossing a snack wrapper onto the table. "I was just waiting for you to admit it."
Pairing: Tae Rae X Reader
Navigation
TaeRae had never been good at thinking under pressure. Usually, he could roll with the punches, smooth-talk his way out of anything, but today? Today, he was doomed.
The conversation had started harmlessly enough—just a group of friends joking around during lunch. But then Hao, always the nosy one, decided to put TaeRae on the spot.
"Come on, TaeRae. You have to like someone. Spill."
TaeRae had laughed, shaking his head. "Not happening."
But Hao didn’t let up. Neither did the others. The teasing got worse, their curiosity growing by the second. And then the dreaded question came—
"Wait… is it someone we know?"
The momentary silence that followed was suffocating. TaeRae could feel the weight of all their expectant gazes pressing in on him, his brain short-circuiting.
Yes. It was someone they knew. It was you.
His best friend. His partner-in-crime. The one person he could never tell because the thought of losing you was unbearable.
So, he did the stupidest thing imaginable.
"Fine," he blurted out, grasping at the first solution that came to mind. "It’s Y/N."
The words hung in the air.
Wait.
Wait.
Did he—did he just confess his "feelings" for you… to cover up the real ones?
His stomach dropped.
There was no taking it back now.
The group erupted into chaos. Hao looked like he had won the lottery, while Yujin gasped dramatically, clutching her chest like this was the romance of the century. Someone else whistled. And you—
TaeRae dared to glance at you, expecting shock, confusion, maybe even horror.
But you… you just stared at him for a second, then tilted your head and shrugged. "Huh. Took you long enough."
What?
WHAT?
He barely had time to process before someone clapped him on the back, saying something about how cute the two of you were. Just like that, the conversation moved on, but TaeRae’s world had just flipped upside down.
You—took him seriously? Were you just playing along, or—
He needed to fix this. Immediately.
Step One: Damage Control
TaeRae was freaking out.
After lunch, he pulled you aside in the hallway, his heart hammering. "Hey, so about what I said—"
"What about it?" you asked, blinking up at him, completely unbothered.
"You know I didn’t mean it, right?" His voice was rushed, nervous. "I just—everyone was asking, and I panicked—"
"I know."
He paused. "You… do?"
You nodded. "TaeRae, you suck at lying. I knew the second you said my name that it was just an excuse."
Relief flooded his chest, but it didn’t last long because you grinned mischievously and added, "That’s why I decided to play along."
Wait.
"You what?!"
"Oh, come on. Think about it." You leaned in, lowering your voice. "If we act like it’s real, they’ll stop prying into your love life. No more annoying questions. It’s a win-win."
Okay. That… kind of made sense?
But also, how was he supposed to survive pretending to like you when he already did?
Step Two: Survive the Act
The next few days were torture.
Holding hands? Apparently, that was part of the "act." You did it so casually, intertwining your fingers with his like it was second nature.
Studying together? That was normal. But now you were leaning your head on his shoulder, close enough that he could feel your breath on his neck.
The worst part? It all felt too natural. Too right.
Was this fake? Were you just a ridiculously good actor, or—
One evening, after another painfully sweet study session, TaeRae finally broke.
"I can’t do this anymore."
You blinked at him from across the couch, mid-bite of a snack. "Do what?"
"Pretend." His heart pounded. "I can’t pretend to like you because—" He exhaled sharply, raking a hand through his hair. "Because I already do."
Silence.
For one horrifying moment, he thought he had just ruined everything.
Then, you smiled. Slowly, knowingly.
"You really thought I didn’t know?"
His breath hitched. "Wait. You—?"
"I’ve known for a while." You stretched lazily, tossing a snack wrapper onto the table. "I was just waiting for you to admit it."
He gaped at you, at the easy confidence in your voice. "Then why—why go along with this? Why pretend?"
You finally met his eyes, and this time, there was no teasing. Just something softer. Warmer.
"Because I like you too, idiot."
TaeRae had never been more grateful for saying something stupid in his entire life.
Imagine.... Niki being your twin brother and finding out your being bullied
Y/n's POV
It was another day at this terri- I mean wonderful school. I was sat outside on a bench, eating my lunch quietly, when I hear a witches cackle. I mean the laugh of Ari Song, my bully.
"Hey bitch, aww couldn't find anyone desperate enough to have lunch with you?" She calls in a mocking tone.
"Go away." I mumble.
"What did you say?" She spits.
"Nothing, nothing." I reply.
"Thought so, now we have somewhere much nicer to be."
She walks away with her little followers. I sigh and go to continue my lunch, when my brother and his friends come over.
"Hey little sister." Niki said, ruffling my hair.
"Its two seconds Niki!" I shout.
"I'm still much taller though." He replies, sticking his tongue out.
"Kids." Heeseung mumbles.
"Why are you bothering me? Shouldn't you be chatting up some cheerleaders?" I ask.
"Just coming to check on you." Niki said.
"I'm good." I answer quickly.
"Okay, you coming to watch practise tonight?" I nod at my brothers question.
"Okay then, see you later baby sister!" I shake my head as they run off to cause chaos.
The day carries on quickly and soon the bell rings for the end. I walk out my last class slowly and towards my locker, since the guys have practise and I said I'd watch it.
As I walk towards my locker, I didn't see Ari coming the other way, making us bump into each other. I drop my books as she drops her bag.
"You rat!" She shouts.
"Sorry i-it was an accident." I apologise.
I bend down to pick my books up, when she pushes me over, my back hits the row of lockers with a crash.
"Ow." I mumble, trying to get up, but she pushes her foot onto my chest.
"Your just a dirty little whore. I mean always trying to get into your brother's friends pants. How desperate are you? I bet Niki wishes anyone else was his sister." She growls, pushing her foot harder onto my chest.
Just before I pass out from lack of oxygen, she removes her foot, only to kick me in the face. My head falls back against the locker in pain.
"Come on, try to stand up." She teases.
I groan, moving a bit, for her to only kick me again, she laughs but then I hear a shout.
"What the fuck is going on!"
I look to the side to see Niki at the end of the hall. Ari stands there frozen.
"Get away from my sister!" He shouts.
Ari runs away as Niki comes over, he bends down in front of me, holding my face gently.
"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks softly.
"Scared too. S-She threatened to hurt me, but guess that already happened." I answer.
Niki sighs and pulls out his phone. I see him typing away before putting it back in his pocket. He uses a tissue to wipe my face a bit before he pulls me up gently and moves to bend down in front of me.
"What are you doing?" I ask, rubbing my chest slightly.
"Get on my back, we're going home. I texted the others to come too." He answers.
I nod and slowly get on his back. The other arrive quickly as Niki explains what he saw.
"Don't worry, we'll deal with her, Ari Song won't be a problem to you no more." Jay tells me.
I smile a bit and lay my head on my brothers back. I'm just glad he was there to save me.

“Hmm? Hyung, what are you doing?” Yun-Ho asked as he peaked and saw Seong-Hwa entering a few websites. He didn’t see them clearly but his eyes were able to catch the silhouettes of notes, hearts, chocolates, hotel bedrooms, and flowers.
Seong-Hwa flinched and turned off his phone, placing it in his pocket while clearing his throat. His cheeks softly flushed with a shade of pink as Yun-Ho chuckled. “I see~ Is something special going on?” he asks as the elder nods.
“(Y/N) and I are going to celebrate our anniversary next week..” he responded while smiling softly, remembering the first time you both met. It was sort of anti climatic but it is definitely a good time to remember.
To summarize it, you guys get back in 2019. You were a foreign University Student studying in Japan and Seong-Hwa was there because of KCON. You both met accidentally when you bumped into him in a hotel -- he was staying there while you were there for a conference.
You guys were then friends for a very long time -- maybe three to four years. It proceeded until the day that he couldn’t take it anymore and kissed you.
Unfortunately, you were still unprepared as you believed that he already had some crush on another girl who was an idol. Plus, you were finishing your Bachelor’s Degree.
You did like him. A lot. He also did, which is why he was a bit discouraged by your reaction after the kiss -- shy and worried. You then expressed your worries and ended it with a joke; “Ask me to be your girlfriend on Christmas Day”. And he did so, taking your joke seriously. But that is how you both started dating.
“Interesting~~” Woo-Young hummed as the eldest sighed out, knowing that the youngers were going to tease him. “Does Manager already know about this?” Yun-Ho asked as Seong-Hwa nodded, “He does, I’m a bit sad that I won’t be able to celebrate Christmas with you guys and ATINY though..” he trailed off as Hong-Joong entered the room and patted his back.
“It’s ok, we all understand why Christmas is such an important date for you,” he comforted as the older smiled…
At Incheon Airport, Seong-Hwa was waiting for you. He was a bit impatient, looking around sporadically to see if he could spot you before you spot him. He looked down at the watch that you gave him the first time you celebrated his birthday.
He then looked up and saw you walking out, looking at the opposite side, seemingly looking for him too. He quickly walked over to you, and tapped your shoulder. You turned around, beamed and hugged him tightly as he chuckled at your reaction.
“Hwa!” you squeal as he hugs you back. Your head was leaning on his chest, making you hear his heart softly thump. He then petted your hair softly, wanting to kiss you but being unable to because of the mask that you both were wearing. “I missed you,” you coo as you look up to him, he then gives you a sweet eye smile -- the same eye smile that made you fall in love with him. “I missed you too, babygirl,” he whispers, making you feel butterflies in your stomach.
You guys then reached an amusement park, Seong-Hwa’s Manager leaving your suitcases at the hotel. “C’mon,” Seong-Hwa called as he held your hand tightly, “I know you wanted to reminisce about your childhood and to have fun after your stressful exams,” he smiles as you fake cry. Your cry sounded real, making Seong-Hwa get worried, turning around to see you.
“Hwa!~~” you cried out, hugging him, making him notice how you were acting. He sighed in relief, flicking the top of your head softly, “Don’t scare me,” he chuckled as you laughed. “Thank you, Seong-Hwa,. I didn’t know what to get you..” you looked down as he looked at you with soft eyes.
“Baby.. Look at me,” he said while lifting your face up by your chin, “You being my side is already a gift,” finished, making you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him down to kiss him. He softly gasped, as you caught him off guard. However, he quickly kissed you back, and later you pulled away -- holding his hand again. “Let’s go!~” you said excitedly as it had been a long time since you’ve had fun.
You guys went on a carousel, ate cotton candy, took a quick break while visiting an aquarium and even drank some hot chocolate in the cafe that was in it. As sunset came by, Seong-Hwa basically became a cuddle bear. He walked behind you while wrapping his long coat around you. Supposedly it was “too cold” for you, and even though you were fine with the cold, you didn’t say anything as you missed his hugs.
The last ride that you guys took was the Ferris Wheel. You knew about Seong-Hwa’s fear of heights, which is why you asked him if he really wanted to. “I want to, because I want you to be happy.” he said firmly, which made your heart skip a beat. You smiled at him as he rubbed your head softly.
In the Ferris Wheel, you sat beside Seong-Hwa, holding his hand all the time. As the capsule that you guys were in reached the very top, the sun shone right into you guys. You then took this chance to calm him down by kissing him sweetly.
He immediately responded, kissing you back with the same softness and passion, holding your hand ever so slightly tighter. You then used one hand to cup his cheek, the warmth of your hand making his heart burst in joy. You both then leaned on each other’s forehead, breathing out softly as the capsule slowly descended.
At the hotel room, you walked out of the bathroom, seeing Seong-Hwa in the bathrobe, drying his hair with a towel while the bed was covered with the petals of your favorite flower. “Hwa?” you asked as he smiled at you, “Do you like it?” he asked while patting the spot beside him.
You nodded, sitting behind him. “Let me dry your hair,” you said as he hummed. You then grabbed onto the towel, softly rubbing the water droplets off his hair. It was a silent and sweet moment, which was cut off shortly when Seong-Hwa turned around.
“.. You know I love you a lot.. Right?” he whispered as you nodded, slowly, fear creeping and engulfing your body. He then kissed your forehead, his left hand cupping your left cheek while his right hand guided your left hand to his heart. You felt it beating, quickly and strongly. You felt his aura go confident yet soft and fiery. You were confused.
He then smiled, “Is it ok.. If I make you mine.. Tonight?” he asked as it caught you off guard, making your cheeks feel heated. “H-Huh?” you questioned as he smiled, “Like this,” he whispered -- his lips connecting to yours like magnets. Fireworks went off in your hearts, the heat slowly rising as your lips danced like a waltz, in sync and gracefully.
He slowly pushed you back to the bed, pinning both of your hands with one of his. Kissing your neck and nibbling on it softly, making you gasp at the new feeling. He kept on kissing, trying to find your sweet spot. After a small second, he found it, making you moan out, feeling more fireworks burst in your heart.
He smiled against your neck, sucking on the spot to create a mark on you. “Seong-Hwa!~” you moaned out as he then pulled away, looking down at the bright red mark. “Are you okay?” he asked as you nodded. He then freed your hands from his grasp, ready to sit back up, feeling that you were unprepared.
However, you caught him before he left, wrapping your arms around his neck. You then looked away, a bit scared yet prepared. “Seong-Hwa.. Please?..” you whispered out, catching his attention. “Yes?” he teased as your cheeks felt heated. You closed your eyes, being unable to answer him. “So, I have your permission?” he whispered in your ear as you shivered from his breath.
“Yes..” you answered as he smiled. “Thank you for trusting me, babygirl,” he said, kissing your forehead softly while he untied your bathrobe’s ribbon. You squeaked, covering yourself before he parted the bathrobe. He chuckled at your reaction, “Don’t worry.. I won’t bite.. Do you want a safety word?” he asked as you gulped. “I.. I think I will be fine..” you whispered out as you slowly moved your hands away.
Seong-Hwa then cupped your left cheek, caressing your cheek and proceeding to kiss you again. His other hand massaged your tummy, making you feel the tingles. He then pulled away, his black marbles showcasing multiple emotions -- love, happiness, lust, and passion.
He untied his bathrobe, as you sat up, slipping out of yours. “I.. Want you,” you said confidently as he smiled.
“Babygirl, there aren’t enough words for me to express how much I love you.. This is only our second anniversary -- our second year of being a couple but I am sure that in the future, I want to be the man that puts that ring on your finger and call you my wife.. Are you ready, my love?..” ..

Hello~~ I am finally back momentarily lol.
I had a rough two weeks because of Quarter Exams and I had multiple mental and emotional breakdowns but I was able to push myself back up so it’s all good.
For the person that requested it, I hope you enjoyed it! It was a bit hard to combine both the Fluff and Suggestive -- I tried my best!
(Please also bear in mind that school has fucked me up so I ain’t doing too well but I’ll slowly recuperate and bring back more stuff for you guys!)
HOWEVER -- I was also able to get better because ATEEZ CAMEBACK
Like holy shit.
They chose violence.
All in all they all fucken crushed it. It was amazing to see ‘em perform and it was great to hear Min-Gi in it. I hope that he is still resting and getting better! I’m sure he’ll be back with the boys soon.
San brought back his demon, so did Seong-Hwa (these two fellas killed me with their facial expressions and vocals). Yun-Ho in all black was a blessing. Center and Black Hair Yeo-Sang was supreme. Hong-Joong’s new hairstyle in the MV was cool. Jong-Ho’s vocals!~ Woo-Young and his sexiness. Like. Violence. They chose Violence.
Overall, I loved everything about this comeback. Take Me Home is beautiful as fuck and I love this entire album.
Hopefully y’all have been taking care of yourselves, take breaks when you need them, drink water and I hope y’all have a good day, afternoon, or evening!~
Use your imagination!~~
Thank you for the support, leave requests, and have a great day!
song recommendation : - The Lights Behind You - Surl
summary : moving to Seoul, you never thought you’d fall for your -extremely loud- neighbour.
disclaimer : i am not using capitalised letters on purpose. it’s my ~aesthetic~
growing up, you never really had what you could call a best friend. you were in a very friends group, sure, but you were never the person people looked forward to seeing in the morning, always being the last choice when your friends looked for someone to hang out with. it did bother you at first, you wanted to have sleepovers, dumb hangouts with friends, inside jokes, and just having someone to share your day with. but, as time passed, you noticed it wasn’t as bad, you started feeling less lonely even if you were alone by the end of the day, it was also an advantage as you didn’t have anything holding you from moving countries on your own, being the independent person you had become.
so here you were, on your way from the airport to your new flat, as your company had rented it before you would be moving to Seoul. you had recently been appointed as chief of the marketing department of your company’s branch in Seoul, and thus, had achieved your high school dream. you looked out of the window of the taxi you were currently sitting in, thinking back on the hardships you had gone through to come to this point in life; the abuse you went through whenever you came home, the loneliness you felt in school, and in general, you proudly smiled, considering you were now in your dream city, about to work as one of the higher-ups you never even dreamt of becoming. you were positive you had become successful.
as the taxi driver helped you move the suitcases to the front of the very tall looking building, a tall figure was approaching the entrance door holding two huge bags of snacks (was he really going to eat that all by himself,,,,?) and noticed your struggle as he sped up to quickly drop the snacks he had been ordered to buy by his roommates. he came back down to help you move the suitcases as the driver had now headed to his next customer. you smiled in appreciation and noticed him smile back even through the dark mask he was wearing. you were now both awkwardly standing in the elevator with two very heavy suitcases waiting for the doors to close.
“which floor are you going to?” he asked in the sweetest voice he had managed to let out.
“18, please.” you smiled.
“oh! i live on that floor too! that means we’re neighbours!” he had squeaked out in excitement. cute, you thought.
as you both exchanged names, you noticed how cute this man, well, sungchan, as you had learned his name, was. you were also hoping you’d get to be close in the future because of how nice he was. he helped you move the suitcases up to the front of your door and headed to the flat number 69, while yours was the number 70. you exchanged good nights, as the sun had already set a few minutes before your plane landed, and each headed to your own house.
it was all fun and games at first, you finished installing your furniture (which really, only consisted of a mattress, a side table and a clothes hanger) and your personal stuff in the span of the first week, and adapted pretty well to the rhythm of the city. there was, however, one big issue; your neighbours. they were very nice, very respectful and very cute, but you truly wondered what they did during the day for them to be so loud during the night. sungchan and you had become a bit closer, having short conversations when going down the elevator together, you had found out they were artists, and that all of the group lived in this building. you wondered how many they were for them to be living in different apartments, and also because of the amount of noise that comes from their apartment at the most random hour of the night.
the noise didn’t bother you for the first month, as you were also up pretty late because of the jet lag, trying to adapt to a new timeline was harsh. however, as you got back to your original sleeping schedule of going to bed at 10 p.m, you noticed just how loud they were. there would be yellings at 3 a.m about how someone was being a sore loser or even just screaming and laughing. what bothered you the most was that you recognised one of the loud voices: sungchan. he probably was one of the loudest of the group.
as another month passed, you had decided to gather your courage and confront them about the lack of sleep they induced on you. it was currently 2 in the morning, you were dressed in sweats and a hoodie as you do most of the time you were home, and the lack of sleep had given you a newfound courage for confrontation. you were now heading towards their door, about to knock, before realising you didn’t have the confidence to speak about it and thus, stepping back with a sigh, deciding to go back to your own apartment before the door suddenly opened.
“uh? what were you doing in front of our door?” came the voice that you would recognise anywhere now, considering how loud it was every. single. night.
“oh,,, sungchan,,,hi.” was all you could say in pure awkwardness.
“it’s 2 a.m, why are you awake?” he sounded so soft when asking this, that you wondered if he gets possessed every time he enters his house.
“actually, i can’t sleep because of you guys.” that was it. you had finally said it!
“huh?! why?” he looked like a very cute confused puppy with the attention span of 3 seconds and it made your heart ache with how much you wanted to hug him at the moment. (wait what? hug him?)
“you guys make a little too much noise at night…” yeah, just a little too much.
“oh, i’m sorry, i’ll tell the members to tone it down.” he was now feeling guilty as he assumed you were probably about to tell them that before he opened the door to go to the convenience store.
“but where are you going at this hour?” you were now wondering why he had opened the door at 2 a.m.
“oh i felt hungry so i was going to eat some noodles in the store down the street, and no one wanted to come with me so i decided to go alone.” he smiled a little, his mouth watering at his awaiting late night snack.
“now that you mentioned food, i’m hungry too.” you hadn’t eaten dinner as there was nothing to cook with and you were too lazy to order, and thus stuck to eating the last yogurt inside your fridge.
“wanna go together?” he had sparkles in his eyes from thinking about spending time with you outside of the elevator. (why was his heart beating so fast?)
“you know what, sure, let me grab my wallet.” you were about to head to your apartment when he held your hand and headed towards the elevator.
“my treat.” he smiled down at you.
so here you were, at 2.30 in the morning, tasting sungchan’s special noodle recipe (which really was just cheese on top of it) in a convenience store dressed in your most basic attire (so was he, and boy did he look soft and cozy in that hoodie). you were feeling content at the moment, having someone to eat with for the first time in years aside from acquaintance at work, and genuinely enjoying someone’s company. you felt your cheeks go warm when he talked about random stuff with sparkly eyes and a pure smile on his face. was it the noodles? or was it that you were slowly developing feelings for the man sitting in front of you?
sungchan was feeling a little bit self conscious at the way the person in front of him was staring quietly at him while he was blabbering about how his teammate Jeno dropped Soy Sauce on the carpet when trying to cook, he was slowly starting to get a crush on his neighbour and he didn’t want them to find him stupid or weird.
“why,,, why are you staring at me that way?” he asked with a low whisper while trying to hide his big frame behind his chopsticks.
“it’s just, it feels nice to have someone to eat with and talk about random stuff.” you smiled a little and he felt his heart skip a beat.
“i’m happy i get to be that someone.” it was now your turn to try to hide behind your chopsticks because you felt your cheeks darken and didn’t want the boy to notice.
“also because i think i’m starting to have a crush on you and would like to have your consent before i try to flirt with you.” you choked on the noodle soup as he said that. you never expected him to have a crush on you, and even less expected yourself to like that he had one.
“uh,,, yeah i guess you,, can flirt with me,,, i don’t mind.”
you knew you wouldn’t be getting any sleep tonight either, but this time it wouldn’t be because of the noise.
Jaebeom can only stand frozen and stare dumbfounded at you as you reach up to tuck a pink rose behind his ear, the most loving smile gracing your lips.
In the softest, warmest voice he has ever heard, you say, "Merry Christmas, Jaebeom."
He's suddenly overwhelmed, the love he has for you flooding his whole body, so much so that he drops whatever he has in his hands, in favor of placing them on either side of your face, and pressing a kiss against your lips so urgent, that it feels as if it'll be the last thing he ever does.
Handling a husband and child on top of a work life was hard work. But just as you think that you have the rest of your life laid out with a clear path many obstacles stand in you and Hoseok’s way. Is your love for one another enough to stand all trial and tests of faith or will it break you and your family apart?
Hoseok X OC
Word Count: 2.9k
You could remember it like it was yesterday. The feeling that everyone had their eyes on you as your nerves ran through every limb of your body. The amazing feeling of significance and beauty as you were guided into the church and the look on Hoseok’s face melted into one of pride, as a tear slipped down his face. The feeling of finally being his wife overcame you as Hoseok said “I do” and he slipped a white gold banded ring with a gorgeous diamond in the middle on your finger.
You smiled down at that same ring as you sat on the beach with Hoseok in hawaii. The breeze was whipping through your hair and you giggled as you hung onto your hat for dear life. You picked up your drink from the side table and placed the straw between your lips sucking up the delicious mango margarita. You placed the drink back down and scanned the beach shoreline for Hoseok. But you couldn’t find him anywhere.
You turned around to peek inside the beachside bar only to find him not there either. Your eyebrows pursed together as you wondered where he could have possible run off to. You were about to get up from your chair to go walk and look for him when you heard the sound of a small child crying. You turned your head to see Hoseok walking up to the chairs with a small child clinging onto his arms.
He gave you an apologetic look before he sat down and pat the chair space next to him.
“do you know what your mom or dad was wearing?” he asked the little boy
The child wiped his tears with the back side of his hand roughly and shook his head side to side.
Hoseok sighed to himself, unsure of what to do. He ran his large hands over the small child’s head in a loving manner and whispered to him softly
“no worries. We’ll find them for you”
The little boy yawned and nodded his head with a pout and Hoseok finally looked up to you.
“I found him sitting at the edge of the shore crying and no one was around” your eyes went wide as he continued “I tried walking around the beach, but I couldn’t find anyone who knew who he was”
You suddenly felt so sorry to the child who was surely panicked and scared. He looked so small and sweet. His chubby cheeks and sweet eyes made you want to pick him up and hug him until he felt better.
“babe, will you hold him while I ask around some more? I don’t think he can handle walking around anymore, plus I don’t want him to have a sunburn” Hoseok asked softly
You smiled up to him and nodded your head. You couldn’t believe that he was acting so well and unpanicked right now. Usually he freaks out if he can’t even find the things, he needs at the grocery store. You held out your hands to the small boy and he peaked up at you for a moment with wide eyes before sleepily stomping over to you.
He walked into your embrace and you held him tightly before placing him in between your legs, letting yours hang off the side of the chair. You played with his hair and brushed his wild, wind blown strands down and away from his face as Hoseok ran off to hopefully find the parents of the child.
You looked down at his small size compared to yours and smiled. You had never really considered the possibility of children since you had married Hoseok but seeing how cute this boy was you couldn’t help but feel a little jealous that someone has such a cute kid.
“what’s your name?” you asked him
“kang Taeyang” he answered cutely
“and how old are you Taeyang?” you asked back with a smile
He didn’t vocally answer but held up two chubby fingers, making you giggle. You pat him lightly on the head and he settled back into you, making your heart flutter. He wiggled around until he was comfortable and then after a moment you knew he was asleep as his chest rose and fell in even breaths.
As you waited you couldn’t help but smile as strangers passed by smiling and pointing at how cute the boy was. And while you definitely understand that you are wanted and needed by Hoseok, nothing could compare to the pride and completeness that a child makes you feel when you are needed. You smiled down at his relaxed face, in awe of how cute his little eyelashes, nose and lips looked.
“there he is!” you heard a woman screech
You looked up to see a puffy faced woman, who looked like she had been crying, and a man close to her side running up to you with Hoseok trailing behind them with a smile on his face.
“Taeyang!” she cried out in relief
The small boy woke up, looked at his mother and cried with his arms outstretched. She picked him up and held him in her arms as the two cried. The man who you assumed was her husband shook Hoseok’s hand and with an apologetic look thanked the two of you.
“We walked to the car for a minute just to get some snacks and when we came back he was no where to be found. Im so sorry that we interrupted your time, but I am very thankful that he found nice people like the two of you!”
“it’s no problem” Hoseok said with a smile
“thank you” the woman said through tears as she continued to hug her child
The man nodded his head and gave us another smile before turning to his wife and walking away, happily reunited. Hoseok sat down in the chair next to you and let out a loud sigh.
“im glad we found them.” he said before turning to you “I mean I don’t even know what I would need to do if he was left behind.”
You thought about it for a moment, and smiled to yourself. “it wouldn’t have been so bad if he was left behind. We are more than capable of taking care of him. plus he was a sweet kid” you said
Hoseok raised an eyebrow and his jaw dropped “you would have wanted to keep him?”
Your smile grew as the look of shock got bigger on hoseoks face. “I mean…” you let out a nervous laugh “he was really cute, and so small.”
“did he make you want a baby?!” Hoseok asked with a smirk
You looked away from him and picked up your drink, took a long sip and then put it back down “hmmmm… I mean… I don’t know?” you said to shy to look back up at him again.
Hoseok was silent for a minute and when the shyness slowly went away Hoseok stood up and grabbed your hand. You looked up at him and he gave you a dazzling smile before pulling you up to him and ran with you hand in hand into the ocean.
You pulled back when you felt how cool the water was and Hoseok laughed at how shocked you were. You glared at him but he walked up to you and slowly walked with you into the water while your body adjusted to the temperature.
When the two of you were chest deep he pulled you into his chest and you wrapped your legs around his waist, enjoying the feeling of being carried by him. He walked out a bit more so that everything below your shoulders were submerged and you reached your arms out to run your fingers through his hair.
Hoseok hummed and leaned in to give you a small kiss, and you pulled away the moment that you felt his hands wander down to your butt. You squirmed in his hold as he grabbed your ass firmly and you giggled.
“I love you” he said just loud enough for you to hear over the waves and people laughing as they played
You gave him a small smile “I love you too” you whispered back
When the two of you had finally gotten back to the hotel you had rinsed off in the shower and climbed into bed, exhausted from the sun exposure and the exercise that comes with spending a day at the beach. You had climbed into bed and laid down in front of the ceiling fan as it cooled off your skin and prayed that you wouldn’t develop a sunburn. Hoseok soon joined you in nothing but boxers and a towel around his shoulders to keep his wet hair from dripping down his body.
When he noticed how you were sprawled out he walked back into the bathroom and grabbed a bottle of aloe vera gel and came back.
“stay still” he said as he climbed the bed to sit next to you.
He shook the bottle and opened the cap, squeezing as much as he could into his palm. He warmed it up by rubbing it around in his palms for a moment and then applied the gel on your legs. You squirmed at how cool and moisturizing the gel felt on your dry skin and hummed.
Hoseok giggled at you as he became more playful, squirting the cold gel straight on your skin. You laughed and Hoseok relished in his slow torture. When he was done with your legs he scanned your upper body for a moment.
“babe I want to get your stomach, take off your shirt” he said, and you quickly stripped yourself of the large shirt that was actually Hoseok’s that you loved wearing as a night shirt.
You weren’t surprised to see Hoseok turn a little shy as soon as he realized that you weren’t wearing a bra underneath, and you smiled. In all of the time that you had spent together Hoseok was still a little shy when it came to seeing you so bare for him. Despite that history that he had with sleeping around with people in college, he was actually quite the soft, and shy guy when it came to you.
He slowly and softly applied the get to your stomach and made sure to get every inch of your skin, up to your shoulders and down to your hands. Once he was done, he put the gel aside and looked back down at your nearly naked body. He ran the tips of his fingers over your visible tan lines and sighed to himself.
“I hope you don’t get a sun burn, or else I’m sure you’ll be miserable for the next few days” he said quietly
You went over the itinerary in your head for the next few days until you two left from your vacation. Tomorrow the two of you were going to go on a private cruise around the island and visit popular spots around the big island, the next day you were going to go visit the pearl harbor exhibit, and on the last day you were going to do whatever the two of you wanted to do before you left.
You looked down to your body to see your tan lines and assessed how sensitive your skin was. Sure your body was a little warm, but you didn’t feel bad at all. If anything, you might have just needed to apply the gel to put some moisture back into your skin.
“I think ill be fine” you said addressing his worries.
He hummed back to you and got up to put the bottle of gel back into the bathroom. As he walked away you could see how tanned he was becoming from all of the sun exposure and you smiled to yourself. Typically, Hoseok didn’t like tanning or becoming any darker than he already was, but you had to admit that a tanned Hoseok was sexy. He looked healthy with his new glow and then new skin tone made his muscle definition look even more impressive.
“what are you smiling at?” he asked as he climbed back into bed with you.
Your smile was causing him to smile back and you shook your head, not wanting to reveal your inner thoughts to him. He pouted and snuggled into your side like a child.
“tell me” he pleaded, and you laughed
“I was just thinking about how good you looked right now with a tan” you admitted looking straight into his eyes
He cocked an eyebrow at you for how bold you were being. And without hesitation put his hand on your hip and pulled your body close to his. You could feel the heat from is chest on your own bare chest and you looked down at where your bodies touched, before looking up at him in the eyes.
“you know baby, ive been thinking…” Hoseok started
“about what?” you asked softly and wrapped your arm around his body to rub patters in his back
“that I wouldn’t mind having a child with you” he admitted
“well I hoped that you considered that before marriage, since I definitely will one day want kids” you chuckled
“no-“ he started and then sighed “I mean like soon”
Your eyes went wide and you pulled away slightly to assess how serious he was being. “like how soon?” you asked him
“like withing the next year” he answered with a smile on his face
“so you mean you want to start trying for a baby now?” you asked him
He nodded his head slowly with a smirk on his face “we’ve been married for a year now, and ive seen the way that you looked at Sera and Minhyuk play with joon. And actually it always made me jealous how happy they are with him.” He ran a hand over the side of your waist. “and I really want for us to have a family.”
You were too shocked to say anything. A baby within the next year…. You didn’t know if you could handle a baby and a career. You knew that Hoseok and you were financially stable enough to support a family, so that wasn’t a concern. Your apartment was large enough for the two of you to plan a nursery and-… wait did you even want a child so soon?
It had been five years since you and Hoseok started dating. You were only 23 and Hoseok was 24. You still had so much opportunity to climb up the corporate ladder at work, and Hoseok worked at the gym quite often now that he had more and more people training with him at his gym.
You were sure that you wanted to have a child with Hoseok, you just weren’t planning on have a child so soon.
But thinking about all of the happy times to have while preparing for a child, and the happiness to follow made you smile softly. You could imagine a child with your wide eyes, hoseok’s beautiful skin complexion and its long dark hair. You could imagine how you would decorate their nursery and all of the cute baby outfits that you would plan.
You let out a shaky breath and looked up at Hoseok who was nervously waiting for you to say anything about his proposition. You brushed your hand over his soft hair and dropped your hand to cup the side of his face.
“you really want a baby?” you asked him one last time for reassurance.
His uncertain grimace quickly dropped and a gentle smile slowly crept onto his face. He pulled your body close to his own and he kissed your neck softly.
“I really want to have our own little children who we can love and spoil” he confessed pressed up against you
You squeezed your eyes shut and tried your best to calm your rapidly beating heart. “okay” you barely whispered
Hoseok froze in place and you waited for him to respond to you. He slowly pulled away from you so he could look you in the eyes “okay?” he asked with a beaming grin on his face
“okay” you confirmed with a small smile
Hoseok quickly rolled you over so he was hovering on top of you and you giggled at how excited he was. He raised up and sat back on his legs as he straddled your body. He ripped off his towel and quickly bent back over to give you a long sweet kiss.
When he pulled away from you he gave you a devilish grin before he rolled over and off of you so he could pull off his boxers and rip your panties straight down your legs.
“Hoseok” you shrieked out in surprise with how aggressive and excitedly he was responding to your answer.
“what?” he asked with a cocky smirk. He looked down your body and pushed your legs apart so he could scoot over to hover over your now anxious body. “we aren’t going anywhere for the rest of the night baby.”

You couldn’t miss the chance to order some more champagne when the waiter passed by your table. He kindly smiled and nodded before walking off to fetch you the drink. Sitting by yourself on the table, it was so strange to be alone at such a big party. Your friends were dancing, drinking, socializing, but you couldn’t find in yourself the will to join them. It wasn’t their fault you weren’t having a good time, if anything, your life was miserable because you were the biggest coward you’ve ever met. It was hard to admit it to yourself, but it was too late now to try and stay positive when that wedding reception wasn’t yours.
You were about to down another glass of your drink, but before you could even bring your lips to it, a hand found its way to your shoulder obliging you to look around in search for the owner. It was hot on your skin, you felt it burn in a way that made you extremely uncomfortable, it made you want to rip your hair off. It was only because Sehun stood behind your back, now giving himself the liberty to place his other hand on your other shoulder and bring his face close to yours to gift you with a kiss on the cheek. You smiled to the gesture even if your stomach was practically rotating inside your belly. It got worse when he smiled back.
“I’m glad you came,” Sehun made his way to your side where you could better look at him as he spoke to you. Seeing him dressed that way made your imagination wonder what you would look like standing next to him on a dress that would fit the occasion. He didn’t know how hard it was for you to get dressed, prim and proper, on a nice pair of high heels to attend this very wedding. He didn’t know how much it hurt you to look around and have every object remind you that you were just a guest like everyone else, and that your presence was trivial. There would be a wedding with or without you, and you had to repeat it to yourself almost as a mantra to make you stop dreaming a lost dream. Sehun didn’t know exactly how you felt, and you didn’t want him to know anymore, it was to late to even bother sharing. You nodded to his remark and he just looked back at you not dropping his enthusiasm even if he was expecting you to say something more. Maybe Sehun expected you to say you wouldn’t miss his wedding for the world, or to tell him that you were happy for him. He just expected more from you whom he loved so dearly.
You saw the pretty woman in the bright white dress make her way near you. Walking graciously, she reached your table giving Sehun that side hug that made you feel so awkward around them. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and for a second you wondered if her skin was just as sensitive as yours, if Sehun’s affection burned her with love or if you were the only one. She smiled to you and noticed the champagne glass that sat on your empty table. “I see you’re enjoying yourself,” she said trying to make some small talk, thing she was terrible at but you never really minded anyway. You nodded sparing your words. You were also a terrible liar, so it would be better to remain silent and not end up telling them how much you hated this whole party, the flower arrangements, and their wedding vows. You chose to keep it to yourself.
The bride’s friends came to get her for a few more photos. Everyone seemed to be having the time of their lives that night and you didn’t know who you envied the most, the bride, or everyone else who couldn’t give a fuck about Sehun not loving them back. You were absolutely jealous of everything and you felt the toxicity of your thoughts change your facial expression that now just seemed lost and distant.
“Do you wanna dance?” Sehun asked already offering you his hand and eager to grab yours if you took a second longer to give in. He took you to the dance floor and closer to where your other friends danced. Your dress wasn’t as beautiful as the white one she was wearing, but at least you knew Sehun liked blue. He guided you thourghout the song and was happy to share this moment with you. You could hate yourself for being a coward, for never confessing, for letting everything go too far before you could even do anything about your deep infatuation for Sehun. But you could never hate him. He was so tender, so honest, and so caring with you, that you could never be mad at him for never loving you. Because he did, he loved you in all the ways he could, just not the way you wish he did. And he was happy to see you there, he was happy to still have this dance with you. “I’m glad you came,” he repeated, almost whispering in the space between your chests. But he didn’t sound so genuine, he didn’t sound as happy as he should be. You couldn’t even bother to nod in response, and at this point Sehun just wished you told him that that night he just committed his biggest mistake.
