“Oi! Curly brows, I know you’re home, I can smell you through the door,” the all too familiar deep voice broke out. All fear that was there momentarily washed away like water, and I grabbed the door handle. Unlocking the door and opening it only to stare at Zoro, dumbfounded.

“Do you know how creepy that sounds?” I asked and raised an eyebrow towards him. “If I didn’t know you were a vampire, I’d call the damn cops.”

Spoilers for chapter 452 of Mairimashita Iruma-kun!

The Iruma Deportation arc is continuing its rampage and my heart can't decide if it loves it or hates it (my brain says it's both).

Shura's annoying the HECK out of me, but I'm trying my hardest not to get angry at the child that is actively being manipulated. No matter how much she should really KNOW better, being a princess and all. Maybe the upbringing of royals in the underworld is different from humans?

Human royalty is taught to be suspicious of everyone because anyone could be gunning for your life and throne. But demons, and presumably deities, are creatures ruled by strength. They're most likely taught that they're above consequences DUE to their immense strength, so maybe she was just never taught that people could try to get close to her just to use her influence. Other than her ACTUALLY being aware and playing the long com with Baal, that's the only other reason I can imagine.

Also, is Boros prison where Sullivan was interrogated during season 1? Or is this a new location? Is it a demon prison or a deity prison (since it's the princess ordering his detainment there?). Also, there's no WAY Sullivan is getting out anytime soon. Once Baal takes the throne, I wouldn't be surprised if her either left Grandpa there to rot or just ordered him executed.

I do love that Levi and Belial are standing by Sullivan's side on this. Like, they were already doing that, but I'm looking more at the "I would do the same thing" line. A lot of fans were discussing Sullivan and how his actions were the making of his own downfall after the last chapter, which I agree with from a narrative and storytelling standpoint. But I also like that, in universe, Sullivan's actions are mostly considered justified due to the simple fact that he's a demon. Demons are selfish and only care about their family. And as Sullivan considers Iruma his family, it's only NATURAL that he would go the extra mile to make sure his grandson was safe. And much like with Shura, strong demons are taught to indulge their every whim. That's just the culture for demons (and I'm assuming deities). After all, who would be stupid enough to go against them?

2/3 of the love trio having their own respective breakdowns after Iruma's reveal. Clara thinking out loud, with all her thoughts and emotions bare for everyone to see, and Azz utterly silent despite his mind likely moving a mile a minute.

For one, they don't care that Iruma is a human! Not much of a shocker, because there's no WAY they would throw out a bond as precious as the one they have with Iruma JUST because he's a human. I'm actually more focused on that "something must have made him say it" line from Clara. She's more upset that he was FORCED to say it. Because she knew that he eventually WOULD have told them, he promised to, but she's mad because his ability to do so of his own volition was taken away for reasons unknown.

And then we get to the actual breakdown. The way that Clara clutches to Azz because she's ashamed that she could respond to Iruma's bravery despite knowing how scared he was. Because her self appointed job as his soulmate is to comfort and bring smiles, and in that moment she could do NEITHER. Her sense of self and resolve is utterly shaken by what happened, and she's having to use Azz just to stay upright and walking. Also, she is TERRIFIED that Iruma really IS going away (her literal worst nightmare), and she doesn't want to lose Azz too, so she's holding on tight so they can't be seperated. Her repeated request for guidance with those "Who do I do?" because Azz ALWAYS has a plan, and she could really use one right now.

And then that hard cut to Azz's face! Everything Clara just said has probably been on repeat in Azz's brain ever since Balam sent them inside. But, like, turned up to 11 because HIS self appointed role was to defend his Soulmates and be Iruma's spear which is 1) something he couldn't do in the face of all the chaos and 2) something that may never happen ever again because they're taking Iruma away. Azz will be a spear without a master.

That's the face of a man trying to stay strong because the world has just been turned upside down and he has people relying on him. Just like how Clara is clining to him just so she's able to stay upright, her presence is the only reason he hasn't gone of the deep end. They are each other's literal and metaphorical rock at the moment because Iruma is GONE.

If these two don't spiral into an evil cycle during this whole mess, I'd be surprised.

My reaction after reading Unordinary chapter 363 (light ⚠️ spoilers ahead):

Valerie is such a bi**h. A smart bi**h. A smart bi**h. Like, did she just pulls that off? Now the biggest barrier to Arlo getting his memory back will be Arlo himself. Like, damn.

And I really hope he doesn't join Ember.

I was working on part 2 of my ch226 posts, but Tumblr did not save the draft, at least partly due to a temporarily bad internet connection.

I've got a replacement post in draft (saved this time) right now, but I have to get ready for work, etc., so I'll have to post the rest of this chapter a while later.
