Little Nightmares - Mim Headcanons

• Yes, her name is actually Mim lol though Ruse and Feast sometimes call her “Mimi”

• She’s 6 years old and the youngest of the three. Ruse and Feast treat her like a little sister

• She’s from the Renaissance era

• The reason she was taken to the Nowhere was because…well, IT WAS THE RENAISSANCE. People were literally dying everyday from plagues, hanging and malnutrition. Poor girl barely had any family left as they were either dead, dying or struggling to stay alive. Poor girl was TERRIFIED she would die next, so it was pretty easy for The Ferryman to take her.

• When she first arrived in the Nowhere, she thought she was abducted by god like aliens with powerful magic, she was kinda right…

• She hangs on to the noose around her neck, because it’s one of her favorite toys. She didn’t really have anything to play with back home so she had to make do with what she had. She put her noose around her neck to save herself the hassle of carrying it, though everyone INSISTS she take it off out of fear of her accidentally hanging herself

• She does mange to get the face paint off, but it left faint scars on her face in the shape of the face paint.

• She’s honestly a huge girly girl, when she saw pink for the first time, she fell in love

• When she saw a koala for the first time, SHE. FREAKED. BOIII

• She’d totally love cute core

• She reminds Feast of his dead sister who died of starvation

• She’d definitely love Disney, Barbie and Mlp. She’d watch the live action Disney remakes and defend them fiercely from backlash on the internet

• She thinks that all types of the technology far beyond her time is because of magic from the stories she’d hear back home. Because if hideous giant aliens are real then magic definitely is.

• She eats carrots and lettuce like a guinea pig. Though she prefers apples.

• No your honor, she can not read

• She’s very gullible and trusting, which is how she was possessed by The Mime so easily

• Even though she’s terrified of the Nowhere and it’s residents, she doesn’t know if it’s best to try to get home or stay there, because based on her experience, both worlds are littered with death.

Used some new brushes to do a second take on on my designs for the Lonely Ones protagonists; Feast and Mim are pretty much the same but Ruse is black now based on fandom interpretation and Doctor Raven (the person who designed them)'s comments. (Plus I think my old design for her was kinda bland + generic for being long-haired white girl #46).

(Ignore the fact that Ruse is basically just a genderbent version of low now).

In The Lonely Ones, its said Feast and Mim are from a different time period, based on their descriptions, behavior and actions, many concluded Mim comes from the medieval era, a time when hygiene and electricity was not yet properly harnessed and the plague took many lives.

For Feast, many of us concluded he came from a time when child labor was still active in many factories, a time when electricity was present but the children had to adapt to working with little to no light at all and were severely malnourished.
