#magic gun

Hello once again! I may or may not have forgotten about the weekly posting until this moment so I'm just gonna post something I did for class. The goal was to make a comic with three random prompts and a rough story made from those prompts in a group. The prompts we got were "On the moon, magic gun, and ends with a kiss" so the gun was a cupid gun.

My idea for the alien character is that he is a sort of cupid for his species, but not in a godly way but more like its a normal job. He's relatively new to the job and fairly aggressive towards outsiders. He wants to use his gun to threaten the astronaut but he remembers that it is, in fact, a cupid gun and would only make him fall in love. Unfortunately the astronaut does not know this. This was supposed to just be a rough draft of the final but I went a little far with the inking when practicing and just decided to make it the finished version so its a little messy.

A magic item for use in Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition tabletop role-playing game. This is a homebrew magic item created by Cloaks and Capes.

Cantrip Hand Cannon

Weapon (any crossbow or firearm ), uncommon (requires attunement)

“These magical weapons are made to be flashy. They are often painted bright blue or yellow, and arcane energy surges through them when they’re infused with cantrips.”

This weapon deals an extra 1d6 Force damage on a hit.

While attuned to this magic weapon you learn a cantrip from the Wizard spell list. The cantrip must have a casting time of one action and must target only one creature. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell. You can replace this cantrip with another after finishing a Long Rest.

Cantrip Infusion. You can infuse your attack with a cantrip you know. If the attack hits you deal damage as normal, then apply the effects of the cantrip as if it had been cast on the target. If the cantrip requires a saving throw the target makes it with Disadvantage. You can use this property a number of times equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down) regaining expended uses daily at dawn.

Mastercraft Weapon. Add an additional half of your Proficiency Bonus (rounded down) to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.

...You know, as an enthusiast of the public domain it will forever annoy me that, as far as enchanted weapons go, there's no real good magic firearms/magic bullets in folklore (Silver/glass bullets don't count) and public domain literature aside from Die Freischutz...

Me when I see this frame: Wait, that's a flamethrower? Holy sh*t, it's a flamethrower! And... They're like guns, more or less. That means it's time to bring back again the memes about Luz using guns against the bad guys?
