Ethan Bennett in The Batman (2004) might actually be a better Two-Face figure than Two-Face on any animated tv show, and I say that as a huge Two-Face fan. While I relate more to Two-Face and his repressed anger issues, Ethan Bennett had way more character development. He doesn't become disfigured until the end of Season 1, and he shows up in around half the episodes made that season. They put work into establishing ethan's personality and backstory. And even after getting disfigured, he doesn't go fully crazy until he gets prematurely released from arkham. Premature release from the insane asylum, plus prejudice against him for his friendship with a celebrity and his "freakish" disabilities lead him to almost suicidal depression. He finds a cure in dishing out vengeance on Joker, but eventually he just snaps and becomes a full blown criminal. The public saw a freak, and they made a freak. His story is incredibly tragic, but beautifully written. He's not two face, but he's very similar. I do think their differences are fascinating, though.
PS: Also, let's be fair here. His doctor was Hugo Strange and his parole officer was Mark Desmond (that's Blockbuster). So he was never gonna get better. Also, it's nice to see Frank Gorshin as Hugo Strange. He was months away from death, but he did three episodes as the city's worst doctor ever. Doctor Hugo Strange is truly the worst. I'm pretty sure the show implies he releases all his patients early, all just so he can run psychological tests on them. He's a freak, and Frank Gorshin does freaks well. That should be apparent from his Riddler on Batman 1966. I'm glad the casting team for the show thought to get him in the voice booth.

Was it ever established how Barbara as Oracle was able to pay for the Clocktower/other headquarters, her gear, and transport and such for the Birds? I don't seem to recall her ever having a day job after becoming Oracle (unless she got paid for her Suicide Squad work, which is unlikely).
Oh this was a fun question.
So generally, Babs got her "start" as Oracle with a grant fromt he Wayne Foundation, and then managed to do some early-internet investing which gave her a certain amount of independent capital.
Batman Chronicles (1995-2000) #5 "Oracle: Year One"
Probably her most famous source of income in fandom, however, is her "Sin tax", where she steals money from wealthy villains who make their money off crime. She most notably did this to Blockbuster, to the point that she became the target of his wrath, kicking off the "Hunt for Oracle" storyline.
Nightwing (1996-2009) #44
Her final source of major income is Ted Kord, AKA Blue Beetle II. Ted was her friend (... sometimes more), who used the funds from his company to buy the Birds equipment, including their jet, and generally was a major sponsor.
Countdown to Infinite Crisis (2005)
After Ted's death in Infinite... Babs... kind of took control of Ted's company. Which, like, could be potentially okay, since she was close with Ted, and Ted clearly enjoyed helping her... but also, Babs' icing him out during Countdown arguably contributed to Ted's death... and then, during Hunt for Oracle, she ended up leaving Booster (Ted's best friend and sort-of-boyfriend) in the lurch while faking her own death in a tower that she built using Ted's money. Anyways! This is why in the later part of the preboot, she's based out of Kord Tower.
