Parts of trauma healing I dont see a lot of people talk about:
1.seen as toxic or hard to work with/teach.
2. Body going into shut down mode after therapy
3. Therapy seemingly pointless.
4. Multiple years, layers, traumas and many people who caused a variety of trauma.
5. After treatment feeling like you are back at 0 and everything you worked on unraveled and didn't stick/stay. Felt almost surface level.
6.Unpacking years and years and years of trauma cause by many of people then processing it,
7.Dissosociating while talking about it.
8. Getting to deeper layers,
9.Figuring out identity , hobbies and interests,
11.Understanding physiological responses
13.Forgivng people and letting them go.
14. Getting your body out of survival mode.
15.Realizing what years of chronic trauma/stress has done to people, yourself when you start to heal.
16. Forgiving yourself for what the outcome of unprocessed trauma/trauma did to yourself and others around you and you
17 Neglecting yourself like hygiene, cleaning , self harm, lonliness it caused etc.
All this while trying to live life daily and go on everyday.Theres alot to unpack when you finally begin to heal and get out of the dissociative dream state of survival mode and look around. it is a bizarre feeling
