I was telling my friend about Faith, and mentioned how it was before the boys first deaths. He asked me how many times do they die. Well I tried my best to list it out for him. And here’s what I told him. (He only knows about Spn from me) @lichtescapades

technically season 2 first ep dean “dies”

but before he’s taken by the Grim Repear , his dad makes a deal with a demon (the demon that killed their mom ) and saves Dean (too late to make amends John.)

then in season 3 he dies a BUNCH of times in one episode , the episode I was telling you about , where Sam is stuck in a time loop type situation for like months and every day of that , Dean dies.

then season 3 finale , Dean dies because he made a deal with a demon in season 2 finale to save Sam. He is mauled by hellhounds and taken to hell

Then in season 4 , Cas pulls him out of hell. But later on in the same season both Sam and Dean are shot by other hunters because Sam is lucifers vessel and Dean is Michael’s vessel. But obviously the angels bring them back because they need them as vessels. (Which was why Dean was raised from hell in the first place)

But in this episode this other character (Ash) states that Sam and Dean have died multiple times before but the angels always save them and wipe their memory about the incident. So it’s possible they died more times

So then , in season 6 , Sam is resurrected without his soul , and Dean wants Death to pull his soul from Lucifers cage. So in order to get to talk to Death , he shoots himself and is dead for a while then revived (medically ig)

then now in season 9 , they were fighting Metatoron , who is the scribe of god , and he kills Dean, but Dean has the mark of Cain, which causes him not immediately come back (because the make of Cain causes intense blood lust) as a demon.

So those are all the Dean deaths i’ve seen so far.

Okay now the number of times Sam has died

not as often as Dean i believe

Okay the first time Sam dies is season 2 finale , where he gets stabbed and falls into Deans hands (and you die along with). Dean makes a demon deal and trades his souls for Sam’s life

Then in this random ass episode with a wishing well , this persom who wished a girl to love him , wishes Sam dead , and he dies temporarily. But when they stop the wishing well ( I don’t remember how) all the wishes are undone , and Sam is alive.

Then in season 5 , he gets stabbed by an Angel , and saved by an angel because he is Lucifers vessel

and the one I told you about for Dean , where hunters shoot them both because they’re the vessels for the fight between Michael and Lucifer and the apocalypse as a whole etc. Resurrected again by angels.

Then in Season 5 finale he dies when he lets Lucifer take over his body and jumps into Lucifers cage to protect the world from the apocalypse.

going along with all the “unreliable narration is literally written into supernatural” thing like, you know, dean and sam swearing during the ghost facers episode and the author of their lives being god/chuck who literally says in one of his first episodes that he didn’t include sam’s bloodfreak activities in the books he was publishing about them bc he thought it wouldn’t be sympathetic. bc he didn’t want his readers to know. and somehow we are still being called crazy for saying dean is in love with cas after what we have seen. when the author. literally admitted. to obscuring. parts. of the narrative. i’m going to eat my teeth.

imo, the s16 finale should end in 2.5 months at the supernatural convention in nj...

like right now, what’s essentially our A-plot tension is still rising: contested control over the thing that’s supposed to be a ‘freed narrative’. Where else could this possibly culminate more aptly than in a room with microphones held by all factions for the first time in a year?

Also I feel like it should end in May as per usual!

Supernatural Discussion About The Empty

Okay, talking about The Empty, with all we know from 13x04.

First of all, holy shit! Cas is the first one to be brought back from the empty! (Or at least, from what the reapers know). Billie had said, “No one comes back from The Empty.”, not knowing where angels and demons go when they die.

If she did, maybe then all the times God (Chuck) resurrected Cas, he didn’t really bring him back from The Empty, he just intercepted Cas before he could end up there. Then he brought him back. I’m not sure. But, in the reaper’s accounts, Cas is the first one to come back from the empty. Good for you, Cas.

Also, The Empty (A.K.A Sleep Fanatic from The Black Lagoon) said that “God has no power here.”, which means, God (Chuck. Should I just say Chuck from now on? I will.) couldn’t have woken Cas up. Does that mean Jack is more powerful than Chuck? I don’t think so.

I think this means that emotional bonds are more powerful than power. That was bad wording. Like, Jack was able to wake Castiel because he has an emotional tie with Cas, rather than just wanting to wake him up. Therefore, that power of emotion is strong enough, more than Chuck, to get him back to Earth. Am I breaching into My Little Pony stuff with “friendship is magic” stuff? *sigh* Perhaps.

Also, wondering what the true form of The Empty looks like. Is it so scary that it makes...creatures want to rip their eyes out? Or is it just that...majestic?

Another thing as well, is it just angels that it makes go crazy? Could humans just have a normal reaction, like, “Holy fuck, that’s terrifying but okay.”, while angels go bat-shit mad?

OH, MY GOD. WAIT. THE EMPTY SAID ANGELS AND DEMONS GO THE EMPTY. CROWLEY IS THERE. (Sleeping, nonetheless, but whatever. It’s Crowley. Come on.)

That means the Winchesters are going to be going to The Empty, sleeping forever, when they die. So it sort of really is oblivion. Unless, because they’re human, they won’t be able to sleep. Because they’re human. Whatever. And then they will get sent back for annoying The Empty. And the Winchesters will never truly die. Shit. What have I done?
