Well God has had this particular message on my heart for a little while. He had to help me gain clarity on something and this perspective definitely made sense.🧐 ... Connections are very imperative to us during our life's journey but it's the right connections that we need for purpose chasing, elevation, healing, change, etc. Who we think we need is not always accurate. Surround yourself with people that surround themselves with even greater people.🦋Rid yourself of people who you want better for but they keep chosing low & don't want better for themselves. It's nothing personal but where you're going, everyone can't go! There season, purpose, & time is up. ... They don't have to be horrible people but maybe they're not motivated, encouraging, inspirational, goal oriented people. Maybe they lack drive or maybe they're not very supportive people. Have you ever tried climbing out of a whole and felt like it was a never ending drop? Have you ever needed help and felt more comfortable asking a stranger before someone close to you? Have you ever been in a jam, looked left & then looked right & realized you had no one to turn too & immediately became depressed? Have you ever wanted to ask for help but instead struggled to figure things out on your own because you didn't want the feeling of rejection? ... I have and so I completely understand! People don't want to struggle or fight or worry but when a sense of security is not present or you've been made to feel like a burden, or you've been made to feel worse than you already do about needing the help, it gets very hard to ask. No one likes to be bashed about their shortcomings, especially sense no one is exempt from them. You become very particular in who you ask or just don't ask at all. Oh, and half ass help is the worse. Truly hard to appreciate.😔Its like, nevermind, I got it.🙄 ... Can I just tell you that, the one thing I have been asking for which is a prayer to GOD is: "send me who I need Lord because I know I can't do it alone, so send me who is for me, as I know you are!"🙏🏽 ...
