So if you are aware and keeping up with the Progress then please let me to be the first to let you know that the translations for all 52 episodes the 2009 Monkey King cartoon done!!
I’m super excited that soon the 2009 series will be watchable for any English viewer and hopefully a lot more people are able to enjoy the series as well!
Now while the translations are done, I’m still going to need to take some time to put all the translations into the videos. Hopefully that won’t take more than a month or two but I’m still new to this whole video editing and hopefully I’ll get the hang of it soon!
I would like to thank @teamknees and MK stan for offering to be a beta reader for the translations! This will go long so much smoothly with their help.
All in all, just glad that it’s all downhill from here.
I’m not sure if I want to release the videos slowly 1 by 1 or just all at once.... Well I’ll get a videos done first but I’m going to keep my options open!

Like reader would hide the fact they're the child of the lady bone demon not wanting to relate to her in anyway because reader hates her but has the same powers as her until they come clean to Redson about it.

Redson x gn child reader [fluff] [a tiny bit of angst??]
“You’re WHO’s child?!”
You sat on the couch reading a book, you were trying to figure out how best to break the news to the demon that your mother is LBD. You sighed in frustration before flipping through another book that wasn't interesting enough for you to focus on. LBD was a spiritual demon that some people knew of. If anyone found out you were LBD's child, everyone would fear you. Which you don't want that to happen, ever since you ran away and decided to live with Mk and his friends your life has been perfect. You really didn't like being related to someone like her, you didn't even see her as your mother anymore.
A couple of weeks after you ran away from her you met Redson, he wasn't so sure of you at first since you gave off a strange aura but he's grown to like you a bit. He even let you hang around with him which was rare since he hated having people close to him. You sighed as you closed your book, you had an idea of what you wanted to say to Redson but you were scared. You were scared that he might kill you or tell his parents, you might lose all your friends that you've made. "Reader?" You snapped up your head to find Redson standing near the door looking concerned. "Yes, Redson? Do I need to go upstairs to bed?"
You asked trying to sound nonchalant Redson shook his head "No, no you can stay here if you want." He said walking over to sit next to you, you looked at each other awkwardly. He took notice that you were acting weird "Is something wrong Reader?" He asked, his voice sounding worried You hesitated "What do you mean?" You questioned hoping you sounded normal He frowned "Are you feeling alright? Is there anything that I should know?" His eyes searching yours for answers You shifted a bit under his gaze "No, no it's nothing like that." You said finally He nodded "Then what is it?" He inquired again You stared into his red eyes you couldn't bring yourself to spill your secret "I'm... I'm..." You tried desperately to think of the right words "LBD's..." You managed to stammer out "I'm her child..." His eyes widened in shock and confusion as he slowly processed what you just told him. "Wait... What?!" He asked The room suddenly fell silent, both of you staring at one another unsure what to do. Eventually, Redson spoke up He stood up as his hands started to catch on fire, and your eyes widened. "Why didn't you tell me sooner." You flinched "I was going to! It's just that I was scared!"
You yelled defending yourself Redson scoffed "Oh please, I have literally been hanging out with you and I've seen you act so...human." You stared at the ground refusing to make eye contact "Well... It doesn't matter now, does it?" You replied quietly Redson stared at you for a moment as he sighed, the flames from his hands disappeared as he started to walk closer to you "Listen." He paused "I'm sorry okay? You're my friend and for you to suddenly say that out of nowhere shocked me." He reached forward cupping your cheek "I won't tell anyone about this unless you want me to," Redson said softly Your eyes widened in surprise as you stared at him, he didn't even hesitate, he was just willing to keep this secret for you. That made you feel a sense of relief knowing that he would never betray you like that. "Thank you Redson." You muttered He smiled "I'm still mad at you for not telling me sooner though." He added.
You chuckled "I'll get you back someday." You joked Redson rolled his eyes as he pulled you into a hug "Y/N, you're a good kid." He mumbled in your hair. You smiled into his chest "Yeah, yeah, whatever." You replied Redson then pulled away, "You aren't like her..right? You won't try to harm or control others as she did?" He asked raising an eyebrow You shrugged "She's hurt a lot of people, but I promise I don't have those traits." You stated. Redson sighed "I believe you." He said placing a hand on your shoulder "Now let's get you to bed, I don't want my parents complaining about why we're still up" He mumbled making you giggle. Redson walked you up to one of the guest's rooms, you turned around giving him a small smile before opening your door "Good night Redson." You said closing the door. He smiled back
We all know mk has issues but how would the monkey family react to mk showing up to training sick and trying to hide it
im assuming youre talking about the dt au here and hear me out- i know sickfics are usually very sweet but consider that in the wild, monkeys usually chase away sick monkeys so that the illness doesnt spread through the whole group.
i need you to picture rumble and savage being able to smell mks sick and telling him he smells funny and then throwing rocks at him from the house windows until macaque goes to stop them, bc i think this is very funny
i do think swk is probably a lot more in tune with his monkey instincts than macaque, so he probably also smells that mks sick and promptly dumps him in the spare room with a bunch of blankets and the promise of soup. you cant be monkey king to a whole bunch of little monkeys for years without learning how to care for the sick ones, so on the whole i really think swk would be very good with sick people, although hed probably try to care for mk more like a monkey than a human
macaque is unsure because on the one hand, when he gets sick he usually just goes about as normal until he collapses or recovers, but hes also trying to be nicer, and to make up to mk for the shit he pulled, so he probably just tentatively offers to make the soup instead
