-Glass World-

I am not perfect

I live inside, with no way to go out of bound.

The past and present emerging

These two worlds have me malfunctioning

The loudest voices swirl like a hurricane

Under no circumstances can you let them be heard

Drifting to where you said you’d never look back

  Suppress it, it’s trying to control you

People, they, they tell me; tell me I’m strong

Look at me now, fighting, once again

What if fighting is exhausting

Time won’t stop, I’ve only gotten worse

I’m scared, I don’t want to make mistakes.

My mental health has claimed me

  Would you help, help free me from this glass world

Glass cracking with each second

Is this living or just surviving

Suddenly the fighting takes a break

Day by day it isn’t easy to notice

Notice my self- destruction

I don’t feel dead, but I don’t feel alive

My strength grows from the struggle

Drifting as a lifetime slowly slips away

  Drained. Weak. Powerless. Alone.

Hidden behind my words that were once ignored

Nothing would save me from my past

  Hopeful. Strong. Powerful. Open.

Telling my story, the glass world shatters

Shatters into pieces I no longer want to pick up

  My mind once the worst place, now a work of art

Winning my battles, the progress shining through

Dedicated day by day to come out on top

  Finally feeling alive, human again

Waiting, I am not alone

Urges, I hear them but don’t give attention

Free from what once broke me down

Life can be beautiful if you give it a chance. ❤

 Hey everyone, Just wanted to do an overall shout out to anyone who has begun to follow me, has become inspired, re-blogged or gave me advice to help let my voice be heard. All I strive for is to show others me, that I struggled & experienced much in life I could have gone without. I am human, your human so become your own hero.  Glass World has strong emotion, interpret as you will.  For me it represents me living my whole life bottled up and in the last year my bottle shattered. I still struggle and have the darkness lurking but I see how beautiful and worth life is; including my own. So I gave it a chance and I fight everyday.

This song perfectly encompasses what addiction was, or at least was partly for me. Me, me, ME. I'm so happy I've moved beyond that. This entire album is really a concept of addictions, in and of itself.
