Non-Mutant Ally Deadpool - Wade Wilson (E-616) 🇨🇦 Canadian / Krakoan🪴
First Appearance: New Mutants #98 (DEC 1990)
Attributes / Powers: • Human-mutate made by Department K. • Genetically enhanced physiology. • Regeneration and healing factor (not his, it's Wolverine's DNA). • Foreign chemical resistance. • Disease immunity. • Immortality. • Telepathic immunity. • Possession resistance. • Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and durability. • Master in martial arts. • Master assassin. • Comic awareness. • Unpredictability. Nobody knows his next move, even Deadpool doesn't know what's next (Taskmaster can't copy Deadpool's unpredictable moves). • Incessant talking.
Equipment: • Tactical body suit. • Katana's. • Guns. • Image inducer (use to have). • Teleportation device (use to have).
No More Metas
First lore post on this blog is a post that applies to all the characters. Im removing meta humans. Not Im not anti-meta, or whatever, but in a world where Marvel terms like "mutant" or "mutate" exist, meta is an unnecessary term. Meta, at least in this universe, will just be an off-world term for any superpowered being who is above their species (which would be a good way of explaining why Batman and Superman have been called metas).
Now, without metas as a catch-all, some DC characters will have to be labeled.
Killer Croc
Waylon Jones (aka Killer Croc) is a mutant. Skin condition my ass, he's huge and becoming more crocodilian. I'm not sure if he'd get to go good with having other people who aren't accepted by humanity, or if he'd get worse because mutants always fail.
Beast Boy
Garfield Logan, aka Beast Boy, is a mutant AND a mutate. This is some massive stretch of canon and headcanon, so bear with me. I belive the sickness he got in the jungle wasn't actually a sickness, it was his mutant power awakening, that would have turned him red. However, when the cure from the green monkey was injected in him, it turned him green instead.
Dorothy Spinner
Dorothy Spinner is a mutant. In fact, I feel if you took her whole story from Doom Patrol and put in her X-men instead, nobody would bat an eye.
Flash
This doesn't apply to every DC speedster, but most of them (Barry, Wally, Jay, Judy, and others) are mutates. Chemicals in a lab usually equals mutates.
Im sure there are more characters who could apply to the other company's terms, but I'm drawing a blank while I write this on the clock. Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime, so I write about superheroes on company time. If you guys have any ideas of who could be mutants or mutate or anything else, lemme know.
