1/15 days of productivity — 08.30.2025

My graduate courses have officially started and I’ve already had my first meeting with my PhD advisor. Attempting to organize my schedule so that I can properly compartmentalize my office work and PhD study time. Today’s highlights:

*Discovered another cute coffee shop this morning. ☕️

*Summarized my reading notes on Frederick Jackson Turner and read the supplementary articles for next week’s class. 📝

*Took a break and walked by the water. 🌊

soo school got super hectic in the last few days of october and my mental health took a bit of toll,, anyways, i want to continue trying to be productive and track my studying/school progress! it’s a new block and i’m studying for my 305 midterm and just finished my 300 essay rough draft

[15.2.19] i swear i’ve never had so much fun taking notes. these are for a lit exam on “montedidio” by erri de luca and a few other works. also, i really recommend you read this book, you guys. it’s absolutely magnificent. and it’s a fast read (you can finish it in 3 days, i swear).

Last week I went to a coffee shop with a friend in order to study there. I can definiteley recommend it, though it’s not exactly sth I would do everyday, that would be a little bit expensive… But it makes studying more special than it usual is and therefore it’s motivating, I mean even maths is bearable with a yummy pice of cake and some coffee.

there’s a testweek coming up in november and I am somewhat ready and I am planning on studying next week! Also these are some of my dutch grammar and vocabulary notes I made for a small test I have to make in a few weeks and there’s a lot more but I will get to that later!
