You got your arms crossed while secretly glancing at your watch.

7 minutes more....

You and Renjun planned to spend the night at your favourite view point. It was because you both like stargazing. The city lights were right infront of your eyes and seems like it’s one with stars. 

You glanced at him. You hid your smirk as you watched him with worry in his eyes. He was biting at his fingernails and constantly moving. You knew he was thinking about what he asked while you both were having your dinner. Knowing you gave him the silent treatment right now, which he interpreted as you being pissed about it. 

“Y/n.......i-uhm-sorry about earlier. I-i-i know it wasn’t right to ask you about it...” he finally looked at you but not in the eyes though. 

5 minutes...come on. You can do it y/n...

You pretended to sigh as a sign of your response to him. “Don’t be....” you softly spoke while eyes met by his. “Don’t worry about it”. You faced yourself to him.

3 minutes.....don’t be stupid y/n. Hang on there.

“No no no....I know you weren’t ready about it and i was an idiot for asking you. I’m sorry. “ This guy...ugh. You don’t know how badly I’m trying not to do anything just to make this perfect.

2 minutes......

You stared at him intensely. His forehead, eyebrows, eyes, eyelashes, nose, lips.. everything about him is so perfect. You finally cupped his cheeks. 

30 seconds..................

“I said don’t worry about it.... what you said earlier. You know i’ve been thinking about it. “ You exchanged smiles and he put his hands on yours. He pulled you closer to him and you gave him a kiss on his lips. 

“Happy New Year....let’s start this year right, love” you pulled from the kiss and you saw how his eyes were shocked. Fireworks were exploding in the background. It was a sight.

“Is that your answer?” after recovering, excitement went over him as he saw you nod. 

“Yes, Renjun. I want to be your girlfriend.”
