Mannn I love making the people in my life happy ♡ I convinced my parents to take me to the gas station cuz I wanted to buy snacks for my friend (we'll call em R) and he got so happy when I asked him what his favourite candy was and that i had got him said candy- I knew R had been havin a rlly shitty day and i wanted to get him smth sweet to cheer him up but just seeing him get all happy and look forward to it made me so happy (˶˃ ∇ ˂˶) I love spending on my friends bro, it makes my heart happy gettin them sweets or gifts out of the blue just cuz i love them or they had a bad day, cus their smiles is worth every cent spent
personally think that guys and girls should reclaim blue and pink respectively. Like, I don't think pink is necessarily girly, and blue is necessarily boyish, I just think like... I love pink, not only because it's a beautiful color, which it is, but because it's associated with my femininity. I choose pink as a symbol of my womanhood, the same way gay people use the flags to show who they are. I love being a woman, and I think pink should be seen as solidarity, not as a confinement. Girls = pink, boys = blue isn't inherently bad, it's just associated with a lot of extremely gendered ways to raise your kids, which are bad.
relationships with abusive parents are always difficult to manage, but the death of an abusive parent is especially unique. kendall roman and shiv haven't had a solid good conversation with their father in weeks, but they still love him. he's terrible to them in every way, constantly pits them against each other, but they still love him. they fight and they've been intentionally screwing him over, but him actually dying is something else entirely. the confusion of it all—knowing that your final interactions with him were full of insults, knowing that he made your life hell like nobody else, knowing that he was the man who raised you and comforted you—and now he's gone. you're sad and angry and relieved and you're numb to it all.
I feel like Jake and Junior are the kind of people who will bounce off of the emotions of people around them. Like, if someone they were talking to was annoyed with something, they'll suddenly be annoyed, too.
For Junior, it happens with anyone. He can just overhear someone complaining, and it'll put him in a mood. He can see someone radiating positivity, and he'll start smiling a bit.
For Jake, however, it really only happens when it's some he's close to and knows well. For example, Lexi and Grant. He can tell that Lexi doesn't actually like Grant like that, and that she gets nervous in a negative way whenever she has to have a one-on-one with him. This leads Jake to see Grant as an obstacle, or an annoyance in his day because he knows that Lexi is slightly uncomfortable with him.
okay so i was like looking at how companies use sex to sell products and i was (naturally) looking at manscaped ads and i came across this:
https://www.manscaped.com/blogs/grooming/can-women-use-manscaped-products-and-the-lawn-mower-3-0-trimmer
like. it is the 21st century and this shit still exists????
fuck you, manscaped. and all other companies that do shit like this
does anyone else feel like the quality of movies has gone down in the past few years? like they just dont make them the same way anymore
I’ve not crushed this hard and this genuinely on anyone for so long and knowing it’s never gonna happen makes it so much worse
