Genuinely why the fuck do I have to "be respectful" toward predators and people who enable them? I could not give less of a shit
If you really were an "empath", you wouldn't be so quick to assume I'm an abuser because of a mental disorder I was diagnosed with
NPD culture is when you're angry all day because your art didn't even get 10 likes in a day. Now I don't want to draw, but I keep doing it because I still hope people will notice me.
I could draw more popular characters, but I have no desire to be part of popular fandoms.
Why don't people like my art? I've been drawing almost my entire life. Is my digital art really that bad? Why do you like artists who are worse than me? They're not even that smart or interesting, but why do people like them? Why do you like less talented artists but not ME?
💜
I don't think people talk about how serious NPD actually is, genuinely.
Like we always feel like the victim no matter the situation and it fucks up our relationships all the time— seriously.
We get really upset and anything and everything. We can't handle criticism and either rage or get defensive when given any.
We split often too. We go from loving to hating something. We go from loving ourselves to hating ourselves. We don't have a stable sense of self (I suppose it wouldn't happen anyways since we're plural)
We have literally "backtalked" to our parents so much when they trigger us. We're violent too at times towards our body's sibling because we get so pissed off at the slightest thing. (It's not bad, jst pushing like typical siblings do but still).
We've had breakdowns before due to being triggered. The slightest wording or thing someone says and we think its rude makes us just stop talking to them all together and typically they don't even mean for it to be rude.
We've also gotten beyond jealous so many times. Looks? Jealous. Higher headcount? Jealous. ( In the past ). Etcetc.
transnpd folks be free to use this as tips in a way if you want
Anyone else with NPD feel the need to "approve" of other people?
Like if I make a post and someone adds onto it, I feel the need to like or reblog it so "they know I approve of it and it's worthy of being read"
And it stresses me out if I don't like or reblog it because then "they won't know they're right and that I agree" as if my approval is the end all be all
"Narc Abuse isnt real?"
I know you get mad really easily, but I'll need you to step back and process what I'm about to say in a way that is healthy for you:
Narcissists (no, just because you're a Narcissist doesnt mean you're evil) abusing people is a real thing that happens. The same thing for every other mental disorder in existence.
I'm not saying you're a bad person. I'm not saying you cant change for the better. Nor am I trying to be preachy.
Once again, I ask you to take this information as calmly as you can.
I don't think you understand the tag "narc abuse isn't real" so let me explain it to you. I'm not saying that people with npd cannot abuse others, I'm saying that people aren't abusive simply because of their disorder, they're abusive because that's just the kind of person they are. let me give you an example so you can get what I'm saying - If you are in a relationship with someone with autism, and they end up abusing you, are you gonna go around saying that you're a victim of autistic abuse?? exactly, you won't. because that's extremely stupid. and there's no such thing as autistic abuse. they're just a horrible person, their disability has nothing to do with it. and the same thing applies to narcissists. therefore, I think the term "narc abuse" is silly and ridiculous. It's an idiotic term that neurotypicals came up with, due to their bias and ableism.
Ngl I can feel quite spiteful and resentful over people caring way too much and being at each other's throats for things I deem unworthy or irrelevant.
Like, god gave you (TM) this ability to care deeply about things, something that I was lacking my entire life and was alienated for, something I had to mask heavily 'cause if you openly don't care about things that you are "supposed to" care about you get ostracized, and... THIS is what you waste it on??? Really?
"Can X identify as Y?" "Is liking Z ethical?" "Is it morally ok to engage with N?" FUCK do you CARE. WHY. WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS.
I'd rather care for whether a bug crosses the path safely or if I need to carry it to a flower bed, that is relevant. This shit is not.
Respectfully, I do not care if someone misidentifies themselves as any of my identities or straight up lies on the internet to be edgy. I don't care if someone's into something that disgusts me personally. I don't care about most of pointless, petty, unbombed people's reasons to get mad for. And I can't help but get pissed off when I see them care so much about it. 🫠
